Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. Armoured Monument

A spark of magic flared from Jill's hand. It floated over to the centre of the room, drawing the attention of Aaron. The ball shrunk, almost like it was trying to destroy itself. A single second later, the ball began to rapidly expand, multiplying its size by ten times every second. It was preparing to release a burst of gas. Aaron lifted his hand, touching the ball with his bony fingers. The ball of expanding heat began to shrink back down, and it turned into a small orb. Aaron had forced the heat to form into a crystal orb using his Boundless Telekinesis.

"Listen. What Monument said about me is true. I'm willing to be a pacifist as long as I am not insulted or disturbed from my tasks, however, as strange as they may be. Now, you have two choices. I destroy this orb, and you swear to let me be, or you try to attack me once more, and I shove this orb down your throat and make it explode." Aaron stated, presenting Jill with two options. Jill was forced into a mental corner. She was angry, but doing anything about it would get her killed. That explosion was going to kill her if Aaron hadn't stopped it. She didn't think about what she was doing.

Jill let out an angry sigh as she decided to give up. She couldn't do anything about a monster that even a higher guardian couldn't face. "You do realise that Monument isn't supposed to be out of the cave, don't you, Aaron?" Jill mentioned. "Well, it's the first time I've heard of it, but if anyone tries to get in my way...well, you know what will happen, don't you, Jill?" Aaron ominously replied as his eyes glowed a bright red. She knew what he was implying, and she wasn't going to respond. She was trying to secure her safety, as one wrong move or word, and she was as good as dead.

"Oh yeah, Aaron, how should we move around in the day? I mean, I'm Monument! Any summoner who was judged by me would recognise me. So would the ones who've faced me in battle." Monument pointed out, bringing up a good point.

"Oh, we're fine in those regards. I can create some armour for you so that none of your skin is showing. Or well, not flesh, but rock. You get what I mean." Aaron replied, messing up his wording for a second. "Anyways, would you like something that doesn't stand out or something that REALLY stands out?"

"Sure, give me something that looks cool but wouldn't make me stand out in a crowd. I don't want to look stupid, after all." Monument asked, looking at Aaron in confusion. 'Create? How would he create armour? He doesn't have any blacksmithing skills.' Monument thought to himself. 'Wait a god-damn second.'

"Coming right up," Aaron replied as he extended his hand towards Monument. A black set of armour started to appear on Monument's body. It looked like it had been made out of scales of some description, although Monument couldn't figure out what. The armour covered all of his body, leaving almost no colour in sight. The only colour was a purple strip going from the side of his left eye to the side of his left leg. The helmet covered Monument's face, leaving no part uncovered. The gloves had protective bits on the knuckles, meaning that the gloves would be great if you were trying to punch something.

"This armour is made out of something called Kevlar-reinforced Nylon. It's a strong material, but it's also light, but not light enough for people to throw away. I might make a set for myself later, but that doesn't matter right now. What do you think of it?" Aaron asked, simply creating something using materials he had used in his first life. It was used in stuff like bullet-proof vests, and it was made alongside bullets.

"I think it's pretty impressive. I didn't think you'd be able to make a set of armour so quickly!" Monument complimented Aaron as he examined himself. "I like this purple stripe here. I like the little choice of colour, Aaron."

"Oh, thanks. Also, just letting you know, they don't give you any stat bonuses, except the natural protection of the armour. It does have an ability that you'll see later. I made it with an idea you proposed to me earlier. You'll find it pretty cool." Aaron hinted, not saying too much about the ability itself.

"Uh...mind explaining what the hell is going on?" Jill asked from the sidelines, confused as all hell. She just witnessed a skeleton make a set of armour in around thirty seconds, faster than any blacksmith could ever do. Not that there were many anymore, considering that people rarely wore armour anymore.

"Oh, sorry. I forgot all about you! I just made armour for a guardian, and he's happy with it. There was nothing else. So, I'm gonna head out, and you aren't going to try to stop me, right?" Aaron replied as he began to walk out. Monument followed him, leaving Jill in shock. She couldn't understand what the hell just happened, but then she remembered why she created the explosion in the first place. Jack!

She looked over to Jack, who was still curled up, but now he was curled up against the wall. He looked like he was afraid. Jill walked over to him. "Jack, are you ok?" She asked, knowing full well what the answer was going to be.

"Physically, I'm fine. The pain has gone away. Something much worse than Aaron's strength caught my attention. His mana. Stuff we use to summon monsters and what we use to cast spells given to us by those monsters. I used the skill I got to check his mana reserves. Do you know how I can gauge the mana levels of a person? Well, I can't figure out his. There was no end to his mana. I couldn't find an stop. Monument has a limiter. I have a limit. You have a barrier. Every single person has their own limiter."

"He doesn't."

I might attempt to draw out what I think the armour should look like if anyone wants it.
