"You seem lost." Aaron informed Coranth. "You think? I have no idea what to do here. I'm surrounded by people like you, and I'm entirely aware they could kill me in a single punch." Coranth responded, causing Aaron to chuckle. "You worry too much, Coranth. Just relax, play a game of cards with a normal deck, or do almost anything you want. Except getting drunk, though. I won't be able to help you if you decide to chug seventeen gallons of beer." Aaron told him, giving Coranth an idea.
"I told you. I'm not going to deal with you when you become a piss-drunk alcoholic. Specifically, one that puts the drunkards of Ireland to shame." Aaron said, once again comparing this place to Ireland. All they needed were a lot of potatoes. If a load of them were thrown onto the streets, Aaron wouldn't have noticed the difference between here and Ireland. That was just an honest fact at this point. After all, he was Irish. However, Aaron finally realised that there was nobody else in the bar besides those he had played poker with, Coranth, Oliver and Stephen. "So, are there any others? Any other Boundless people?" Aaron asked, drawing a sigh from Stephen. "Yes, there are. Some are incredibly strong, others intelligent, and a few are weird. Any amount of Boundless people can be on a planet at once, but it just so happens that a large amount went to this one." Stephen explained. "They're across all of the tiers of the familiar or the summoner ranking system. Some are S-rank while others as C-class. Literally all over the place." Stephen continued, pointing towards himself. "I'm a higher B-class Familiar Summoner, although I've never needed to fight against anyone to prove that I've summoned anything," Stephen told them, a smile on his face. "Nobody has ever seen me summon a familiar, so nobody knows how I was ranked. It's funny, in my opinion." Stephen informed them, surprising Aaron.
"What, did you make a familiar out of illusions?" Aaron asked, Stephen not moving from his original position as his smile stayed on his face. "Oh, so THAT'S what you did!" Aaron exclaimed, chuckling. "I have to say that's quite impressive," Aaron said, looking around. "Well, now that we're acquainted, let me introduce you to someone." Aaron told him, black liquid appearing from his rear ducts. "What the hell?!" Stephen yelled, grabbing the attention of the people playing poker. They looked over at him, seeing a dark substance flowing from Aaron's eyes.
The room was frozen still in horror. The liquid sped up, pulling away from Aaron's body. It was going slowly to increase the tension, and it was working on the other Boundless people present. Aaron, Coranth and Oliver were unfazed by it. The substance spread pink lines across itself, showcasing where its eye was. A body was quickly built, Soul taking his humanoid shape. "Ah, that's much better." Soul said to himself, twisting his body around as if he was stretching his body.
"Soul, you didn't need to make everything dramatic." Aaron sighed, Soul's face forming with an unimpressed expression. "You don't have to take everything so seriously, Aaron. Just loosen up and let everything happen." Soul told him, his clawed hand against his face in a somewhat sad movement. "I honestly thought this place would be more...violent...than this. I thought I might get the chance to fight something, despite what Oliver told us." Soul pretended to complain, having fun with the fear of everyone else present.
"I told you that this is where Boundless people come to relax amongst people like themselves." Oliver corrected him, Soul smiling in response. "I know. I said, 'despite what Oliver told us' since I was going completely against your words." Soul reasoned with a smile as Oliver looked at him with an exasperated expression. "This is Soul, a clone of Aaron Stone. Well, not a copy, but more like another version of him." Oliver tried to explain, Soul putting his hand in front of Oliver's chest. "I'll explain," Soul told him, putting his hands to his sides.
"I am Soul. I am something that resides in all of you, taking a mostly passive form of your personality, influencing your decisions and feelings. I take the form of many things, and I do not share consciousness with the other versions of me. Aaron somehow found a way to give me a physical form AND a method to create new life, so I now travel alongside him, having been to his detriment for the first bit of his new life." Soul explained, confusing everyone there. "He's trying to tell you that versions of him reside in all of you, and he doesn't plan to harm you intentionally." Aaron summarised. The confused people around them let out a collective "Oh." in response. Soul just smiled as he looked around. "Well, I'm just going to sit down and relax, so don't mind me," Soul told everyone there, creating a chair put of Boundless Telekinesis as Aaron had.
Aaron stretched his arms, a crack reverberating across the silent room. You could hear a pin drop. One did, and everything went back to how it was, Soul sitting down on his invisible chair. "So, what do you plan to do here?" Aaron asked Soul, who looked at him with a smile. "I could do a whole bunch of things. I have the option of getting absolutely piss-drunk like you told Coranth not to do. I might choose to partake in a poker game with those people you STILL haven't gotten the name of. Well, except for one of them. I have many options open to me, Aaron. I just need to choose one." Soul told him, a smile on his face. "You know, I'm not even going to ask. If you get drunk, you can walk it off in my head." Aaron told him before looking around, his eyes wandering to the empty space where many tables could have been placed. With a smile on his face, he began to think of ways to use it.
