Seduced By My Rogue Mate

I circle my prey. Watching him with trained, practised eyes, I try to gauge his next line of action. 

It's difficult to read a person's body language, but I learned from the best. The old Alpha of the pack is the best educator a person can ever have.

He's the one who taught me that patience is the ultimate key. 

I watch my opponent who's on alert waiting for me to take the first step. Motioning for him to come closer, I smirk at him.

"You don't have to be attacked for you to defend yourself. A good chess player knows how to make a move before a move is made on him." 

This is one of the great words of my master, and I made use of it. 

Giving me a smirk, the male who's far more knowledgeable about my ways motioned for me to come closer. "Why not take the first step, Alpha?" He says in a mocking tone. 

" And risk watching you cower in fear?" I tsk. "A child runs from danger if it's not strong enough to meet it head-on, but fights back when its mother is threatened.

He doesn't cower fearing watching others beat his mother, he fights back to defend his mother, albeit how little he is." Advancing toward him, I tried to hit him with the hilt of the sword, but he deflated my moves.

"You should know not to make use of such cheap tricks on me." He gives me a look. "I know all the tricks you have up your sleeves." He says with a smirk as our swords clanged.

The sound the two swords made is a deafening one. One that's capable of rendering ordinary men deaf.

"All?" I drop the sword. "I don't think so." Changing into my wolf form, I charge toward him. 

Momentarily catching him off guard, I only managed to bite off a chunk of his flesh. 

Growling in pain, he changed into his Wolf form, the feet wolf looking straight at me with anger.

This is it.

We both raced toward each other at the same time. Claws extended and fangs already out, I manage to claw his side while he knocked me to the side.

The pain I felt when I hit the floor was indescribable, but that didn't hinder me from charging toward him.

As the Alpha of the pack, it's not an option to be defeated.

Growling, he advances towards me, his wolf giving me the stink eyes. Racing as fast as he can, he jumps on me as he expertly clawed at my side.

Howling from the pain, I mercilessly flung him to the side. Rushing towards him, I place my paws on his back, my hind leg holding his body captive as he struggled under my hold.

"Give up!" I command through the bond.

I wasn't asking him to give up based on my fear that he might defeat him, but I am doing so for his sake. 

Should my wolf get pissed off, he might likely wound my beta fatally.

"Never!" Growling, he throws me off his body, and I land at the other end of the room. With the fall comes the snapping of my bone, bones that healed the moment I fully stood to my height. 

This is one of the perks of being an Alpha. Alpha's heal faster than any other wolf in the pack, our healing properties made us the strongest and most feared.

Growling, I jump on him, biting into his fleshy back, I held on strongly as he trashed me. With my mouth strongly in his flesh, I don't think there's anything capable of making me let him go, Aside from…

"I give up!" He growls through the pack bond.

" Are you sure about that?" I taunt him. 

Had I been in my human form, I would have undoubtedly smirked at him.

" Goddess damn it, Mek. I give up!" He struggles below me.

"That wasn't so difficult, was it?" Jumping off him, I change mid-jump. "You need to know when to give up," I smirk down at him before I proceeded towards the door. 

At the last minute, I turn. Kicking him on the stomach, I sent him flying to the pillar close by. "Never try stabbing an Alpha behind his back," I smirk.

He thought I wouldn't notice his advances based on silently he was, or better still, tried to be.

Flexing my muscles a bit, I walk out of the room. 

I have better things to do than spend my time lecturing a Beta that doesn't seem to learn despite the number of times I've gotten his arse beaten.

"My Alpha." One of the maids at the pack house greets me, blushing deep red, she lowers her face to the floor. 

I smirk at her reactions to me. It doesn't hurt to know the female in my pack admires me. Not only am I the strongest warrior of the pack, but I happen to be handsome, and single at the same time. 

So, you see? I'm a hot meal where they're concerned.

Well, every unmated male is like a hot meal for the unmated females.

"The Alpha sent you here, right?" I raise a brow at her. 

" No… I mean yes." She says in a nervous tone. "I was sent, but I…"

"What's it love?" I bent, so I was on the same level as she is.

"I… I mean…" She gives me a water bottle. "I brought this for you. Though, you'll need to have some water after your practice." She shyly looks down at her shoes.

" Thank you. That's thoughtful of you." Taking the water bottle from her, I take a loud, audible gulp of the content and handed the rest to her as a sort of souvenir. "You thought well." Giving her a hearty pat on the head, I continue with my mission, and that's to go take a hot bath.

I need one after the little play I had with my Beta.
