Zusammenfassung

Stabbed to death by the hands of his own wife, Lunar got reincarnated into the world of a modern fantasy novel written by his deceased girlfriend.  The protagonist of this world was a reincarnated cold-blooded 'Winter Sword Goddess,' and humanity was nothing but a mere pawn of gods.  The weak were at the mercy of the strong, and they had no control over their fate. But Lunar, who was reincarnated as a weak villain in this world, refused to accept his fate and be trampled upon. "Fate is weak before the courageous and strong before the coward. I will be the one in control of my own fate." "No law or morality shall bind me in this life. My only goal and obsession is to become the Eternal Sovereign, rising above the universe, living an eternal life, toying with galaxies, and doing exactly as my heart pleases." "For this goal, it didn't matter if I became the enemy of the world. I will be the true villain on the evil path, merciless and cruel. I will stop at nothing to achieve my goal." In this world where the awakened were called heroes of humanity, Lunar would be an evil villain, wearing the mask of a righteous hero—the mastermind hiding in the shadows, using his wits and future knowledge to rise from the bottom, manipulating even the gods to his will, and stealing all the opportunities for his own benefit. For himself, in this world, which would soon face a cataclysm and an invasion of the Abyss, he would even swallow the World of Trials given to humanity for their survival. But at the end of his journey, would he be able to achieve his goal of becoming the Eternal Sovereign? Let's find out.

Chapter 1Prologue: Cruel Smile Even in Death
"If only you had willingly surrendered everything to me, Lunar, we could have been the perfect husband and wife."

My wife, a cold, black-haired Asian woman, stared down at me impassively. I lay at her feet, soaked in a pool of blood, with a sword embedded in my chest.

"Yet you didn't!"

Her icy voice resonated throughout the room, but despite her remorseless words, I remained silent.

My disregarding behavior caused her eyes to gleam with a cruel light.

"Don't blame me, Lunar. It's you who forced me to do this."

With the sword's hilt firmly in her grasp, she twisted it without mercy.

Splurt!

My chest was cut open, and blood gushed out, but I didn't let out a single groan.

This was nothing compared to what I'd experienced in my two lives, but it would be a lie to say I wasn't furious and in pain.

Murderous intent raged in my heart, and if my thoughts could manifest, this woman would have already died a thousand times.

However, despite my rage, I remained silent.

Numerous ideas raced through my mind, yet no strategy emerged to salvage my plight.

Reluctantly, I had to accept the grim reality.

In fact, I had long foreseen my end, but the perpetrator, my beloved wife, who once made countless promises of love to me, was an unforeseen twist.

"Now, everything that belongs to you will be mine, from your sword to your inheritance and that ancient elixir you found. Everything that I couldn't get because of you shall be mine now, hahaha."

She burst out in maniacal laughter, and her words hurt my heart more than the sword, causing the memories of my past life to emerge before my eyes.

Originally, I was a web novel writer on Earth who endured a hard life for 60 years and was somehow reincarnated into this unknown world of Swordcraft, where I went through another 40 hellish years; about 100 years of my life flew by in the blink of an eye.

'Then, is this how my end will be?'

I sighed in my heart emotionally and looked up at that cold and ruthless face of my wife—the polar opposite of when I fell in love with her.

Witnessing such a stark disparity, my unsettled heart cooled down, leading me to a sudden realization.

'There's really nothing eternal or absolute in this world; the same goes for love.'

'Right and wrong are just two sides of the same coin. It all hinges on perspective and the choices one makes.'

'From her perspective, killing me for her ambitions is justified, and from mine, I, the one who suffered, am right to blame her for the betrayal.'

Such reflections hit me like bolts of thunder, and it felt as if a long-sealed lock within my soul had suddenly burst open with profound revelation.

My mind seemed slightly overwhelmed. Coupled with my dwindling vitality and the continuous loss of blood, my spirit also became dizzy, as if I were drunk.

The ground beneath my feet felt unusually soft, as if I were floating on clouds.

Everything seemed surreal, yet in that moment, clarity enveloped me.

Life and death.

Cause and effect.

'I understand!'

'I understand everything!'

The more I grasped, the calmer my gaze became.

My eyes lost their luster and took on a calm depth, like deep pools of water in a bottomless well.

It was a foregone conclusion that I would die here.

I understood my situation clearly, but even in the face of death, my expression did not change; there was an eerie calmness in my eyes.

Understanding my state in these final moments, an old saying couldn't help but appear in my mind.

'Death is a mirror that reflects the true essence of life; in its cold embrace, when life's flame dims, the mind unveils its deepest wisdom, and all contours of truth become clear.'

Regrettably, while death granted me a glimpse into the 'true' meaning of life, it took that very life as the cost.

'There is no place in this world for the soft and weak. If I get a chance once again, I shall be true to myself, unfettered and merciless, break free from all shackles that bound me, and become an Eternal Sovereign who shall stand on top of all cosmos!'

With this resolute thought, I, who had been as silent as a sculpture the entire time, finally opened my mouth and erupted into hearty laughter.

"Hahahaha!"

"What are you laughing at?"

My wife barked, but instead of a response, she was met with a deep, indifferent stare and a hazy, unsettling smile.

A chill ran down her spine as she subconsciously staggered back.

Her instincts, honed through countless life-and-death battles, screamed at her to run. However, at that moment, my sinister voice sounded in her ear.

"Bang!"

Before she could even comprehend the intent of that word, I at last closed my eyes, and with my death, the bomb that was nestled in my body detonated, causing everything around me to be engulfed in a blinding surge of energy.

Ka-boom!

The catastrophic explosion annihilated everything in its path, including my wife and my corpse.

I had a smile on my face, even in death.

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions be known. Thank you.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a tone that was somewhere between annoyance and disappointment. "You can’t outsmart Scrients! They’re the most intelligent beings across the two realms!" "You’re right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a solemn sigh. "I made a mistake. I was arrogant to think a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "...Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I’m not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait! You can’t. I killed them all." --- My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid and pointless scuffle. And in the middle of it, I tripped and smacked my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in… Memories of a different life. Memories of another world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First: I was inside a game I used to play in my past life. Second: I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool, mysterious, tragic kind either! No, I was the worst kind of cliché — a spoiled, insufferable, and arrogant young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. You know the type! The one everyone hates. The one the hero would beat into the ground to show everyone just how strong and righteous he is. Yeah. I was that guy! My fate was to be a stepping stone for the main characters, be manipulated by a Demon Prince, and die a dog's death. And the hero? The hero was the same kid I’d been bullying all this time. The one I just got into a fight with. He was supposed to be the savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And waiting at the end of it all was the final antagonist. The unbeatable nightmare. …The Spirit King. But could I even make it to the end? Could I really survive in a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that had now become my reality? “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could. But I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, altering the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains long before they could become threats — nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected by my actions? Excellent! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me. My survival. My life. My choices. “I’ll live this life with no regrets.” ...But as I soon discovered, fate wasn't so easily changed. And the price of rewriting your destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
