"No..." Alaric whispered as Inian came into his vision. Inian stood tall in front of him, with glowing eyes and a powerful aura. His feathery wings extended on his back.

"Oh, yes! I've been waiting for this moment!" Inian called out as he bent over and picked up Alaric by his shirt.

Alaric grabbed at his arms and tried to shake him off, but nothing worked. Inian's arm was stronger than steel, gripping him without any give.

"You are a disappointing son, and I've longed for the day I can destroy you with my own two hands."

Alaric gasped as he struggled, "This isn't the real you Inian. This is your corrupted heart! If this is all the good you can muster, then you are a disappointing and idiotic father!"

Inian clenched his teeth and threw Alaric clear across the camp. Dirt filled Alaric's nose as he tumbled over the ground.

"Intruder!!" A guard called out when he noticed the commotion. All Inian did was snap his fingers, and the howls and roars of monsters echoed all around them.
