Waking up in new world should be fun, or at least interesting... not like this... zombies everywhere and all I have is a beretta and something that can only be described as an RPG game like system inside my head.

[Achievement Unlocked: Apocalyptic Beginning.]

I blinked twice in confusion and the message vanished. I had no idea what the hell was going on, one moment I was watching TV and the next I was wherever the fuck I was now, with a sigh I pushed that worried thought tor a moment right now I had bigger things to worry about, like figuring out where was I and how to get back home.

Gathering my thoughts I decided to check my body first, this could either be a prank or something more within the illegal lines of things, after all, organ trafficking was the first thing that came to mind, right now.

"Let's see," I was wearing a pair of jeans, black sneakers, a leather belt, and a crimson red T-shirt, things I don't recall owning, at least not the specific models I had, but what stood out the most was that, my body was different. I was taller, and had a very athletic build, "This must be one of those drug induced situations Jack talked about," I rationalized, after all, what were the odds of waking up with a new body, just because?

As I pondered over that thought I heard a scream, I turned to where I had heard the scream almost as if on instinct to find a woman that had somehow gotten surrounded by what could only be described as Zombies, or very good cosplayers. Her eyes caught mine for a brief second and in desperation, in sheer terror she yelled to me, "Help me!" And just like that the idea of the things surrounding her being cosplayers vanished, the terror, the fear on her scream made me believe she was in danger.

Looking at her, I weighed my options, I had no weapons, no combat abilities worth noting and was clearly outnumbered, so I simply couldn't help her, as I came to this conclusion, one of the zombies lunged toward her, moving surprisingly fast for something that should be dead and decaying. And if there was any doubt before about the situation, there was none now, almost as if in slow motion, I saw how the zombies jumped at her one by one, ripping her apart, surprisingly I wasn't throwing up.

"I have to get out of here," Nightmare, or drug induced dream or not, I wanted no part of what she had suffered or was suffering, so I started running. I was not built for a zombie apocalypse, yes I had played every game in the Resident Evil franchise, but that wasn't helpful at all, I had no real survival skills for this type of situation, besides the general knowledge a headshot is usually the right call to kill zombies, so I ran all while I could hear the girl screaming in a mix of pain and fear, honestly I was surprised she was still alive after the first couple of bites.

As I ran through what seemed to be a mountain, words appeared in front of me, I looked at them more closely this time, mostly because I had no chance of doing so last time. The first thing I noticed was that the words moved with my eyes, if I turned left, the message would move with my eyes.

[Achievement Unlocked: Cold Blooded!]

Cold blooded, I suppose in a way, I could be considered that by letting her die, but it's better than getting a gawned to death by a bunch of zombies. I continued to run aimlessly until I found a house, an abandoned one at that, typical for this kind of setting. Checking there were no zombies near it, I blinked away the message calling me a cold blooded bastard, what did they expect? I mean was supposed to just throw myself into a melee when it was clear I was going to die to help someone I didn't even know? That wasn't being cold blooded, that was just common sense.

With a sigh I opened the door to the house with caution, if Zombie games taught me anything, it was that those fuckers like to jump scare in the worst moments.

[The exercise always pays off! STR and AGI have gone up by 1!]

I blinked in mild surprise. Perhaps this was my punishment for playing games every day, I was now stuck in hell struggling to survive a zombie apocalypse with a gaming like ability, "If I survive this, I will seriously get a new hobby, maybe Tennis, I always wanted to play it," I muttered as I walked into the house.

Grabbing the first thing I could use as a weapon, I inspected every room in the house, one by one, until I found a newspaper, normally I would discard such thing, but considering the situation, it was ill advised to do so, so I gave the archaic thing a read, and once again I was shocked, this is becoming a pattern, "Aklay Mountain," I muttered, reading the newspaper, that said that people have been dying in the mountains, with the culprits being strange creatures, it all made sense now, the zombies, the name of the place, "Resident Evil: Zero… fuck,"

I stood where I was, holding the newspaper, trying to work things out.

"Of all the games I played, the gods picked the worst one in terms of… I wonder if he can survive," I muttered to myself, "Alright, I suppose the least I can do is try to survive this," I would have time to whine later.

So dropping the newspaper back, I continued with my search for zombies in the house, now hoping some things around here worked like in the games, an abandoned house? That was a weapon in any resident evil game, or at least a place to find some ammunition.

"Oh thank god," I muttered in relief, it seemed some things I knew would work out here, I had, after all, found a standard handgun under a bed in one of the rooms.

Hovering over the gun, there was a message,

[The standard handgun used by the police of Racoon City. This handgun is useful against Zombies and humans, but that's about it. It can be upgraded.

Ammunition: 15/15]

"That's a pretty summarized description," I chuckled, all while still wondering how in the hell was I holding my shit together so… well, good, "I wonder… skills?"

[—-Skills—-

Gamer's Mind - Passive - LV MAX: Allows the user to calmly and logically think things through. Allows peaceful state of mind. Immunity to mental disorder. This skill does not block fear or anger, or any emotion for that matter, it simply helps the user to deal with them without losing his composure, emotions all of them are necessary for critical thinking.

Gamer's Body - Passive - LV MAX: Grants a body that allows for the user to live the real world like a game. Sleeping in a bed restores HP and EP.]

So that's the reason I'm not freaking out, I have a skill that is keeping my metaphorical shit together, "Stats,"

[—- Stats —-

I had no idea if those numbers were good or bad, with curiosity I hovered my finger over the stats, getting a more detailed description.

[STRENGTH - STR

Pretty self explanatory, "Lets see the others,"

CHARISMA- CHA

A measure of a character's social skills, that can affect sometimes their physical appearance, you know what they say, feel sexy, be sexy. Charisma influences prices while trading and NPC reactions to the character. Under certain circumstances, this skill can negate combat actions between players and NPC enemies.

WISDOM - WIS

A measure of a character's common sense and in some cases spirituality. Wisdom controls a character's ability to rationalize information, or discern other characters' motives or feelings.

LUCK - LUK

A measure of a character's luck. Luck might influence anything or nothing, but mostly influences the encounter of random items, encounters and outstanding successes or failures.]

"Alright," I sighed.

The Synthesis Wizard

In a world where elements lay barren and powerful wizards had abandoned their homeland a millennium ago to explore the multiverse, Sunan found himself reincarnated as a noble scion stripped of his title. This world, once brimming with magic and wonder, had fallen into a desolate state, and wizards had become mere legends. Sunan was acutely aware that after a thousand years, the elements would awaken once more, heralding the return of the wizards and ushering in a new era of prosperity. He understood that his path was clear: he must train diligently to become a wizard himself and survive until this glorious age arrived. “Resources are scarce?” he mused, determination flickering in his eyes. “Then I’ll just have to synthesize them myself.” With that thought, he activated the Synthesis Cube, a device that granted him the ability to combine materials into something new. This Cube was not just a tool; it was a symbol of his potential in this world, reflecting his status as a player in a game he once played. As he set to work, the Cube glowed with possibilities, presenting him with a myriad of options. He had a few basic materials at his disposal, remnants of his previous life and the knowledge he had accumulated from his past experiences in the game. Sunan began experimenting, combining herbs and minerals he had gathered. Each successful synthesis filled him with a sense of accomplishment, inching him closer to his goal of becoming a wizard. Days turned into weeks, and Sunan’s skills improved rapidly. He crafted potions, improved his understanding of magical theories, and honed his mental abilities through intense meditation practices. The Star Ring Meditation, one of the first techniques he mastered, allowed him to tap into the latent mental energy within himself, enhancing his cognitive functions and magical sensitivity. As he progressed, whispers of his endeavors began to circulate among the remaining noble families and the common folk. Some viewed him with suspicion, while others saw potential in the young man who dared to challenge the status quo. Sunan knew he needed allies. He began seeking out individuals who shared his vision—a return to the age of wizards. He discreetly approached the remnants of the nobility, the few who still held some influence, and began to forge connections. His reputation grew cautiously, and with it, the opportunities to gather resources and knowledge. He learned of hidden libraries, ancient texts, and artifacts that could aid in his quest. One fateful day, while exploring a forgotten ruin, he uncovered an ancient tome detailing the rituals of the wizards who had once thrived on this land. The pages contained knowledge that could accelerate his growth, including spells long lost to time. “This is it,” Sunan thought as he carefully transcribed the contents into his own notes. “With this, I can not only learn the spells but also improve my synthesis techniques.” As he delved deeper into the arcane arts, he realized that the key to his ascension lay not just in personal power but in understanding the intricate web of alliances and rivalries that defined noble society. He had to navigate these treacherous waters carefully. In the back of his mind, Sunan always remembered the impending return of the wizards. The time was coming when he would have to reveal his true potential and lead the charge into the new era. With each passing day, he grew stronger, more confident, and increasingly aware of the responsibilities that awaited him. The world was changing, and Sunan was determined to be at the forefront of that change—a wizard in a world that had forgotten what it meant to wield true power.

Genshin Impact: This Trainee Fatui Harbinger is Too Unreliable

After his soul transmigrated into the world of Teyvat, Luo Qing was selected to become the new Trainee Fatui Harbinger, and he was about to be sent to Liyue on a diplomatic mission (to cause chaos). To his surprise, he awakened a “Frustration Value Collection System” — as long as he frustrated others, he could collect frustration points, which he could use to participate in a lottery. As he stared at the list of items in the lottery interface, Luo Qing fell deep in thought: “Spirit Speech: Time Zero,” “Multi-Shadow Clone Technique,” “Thunder Breathing Style,” “Golden Experience Requiem,” “Railgun,” “Gomu Gomu no Mi...” Why on earth were these things appearing in the world of Teyvat?! Given the notorious reputation of a Harbinger, Luo Qing knew that if he didn’t grow strong, he was certainly doomed to a miserable end. Thus, his style became... increasingly abstract... --- Years later, to prevent the infamous Fatui Harbinger, Luo Qing, from causing havoc everywhere, the people and political leaders of the Seven Nations united to issue a formal protest to Snezhnaya. In response, the Fatui in Snezhnaya issued an official statement: “This Harbinger is only a trainee. He has been dismissed.” --- Updates: Mon,Tues,Thurs-Sat To Unlock Bonus Chapters: Reach 30/40/50/100/200/400 Power Stones! 6 Extra Chapters! Reach 800 Power Stones to activate NP! Resets Weekly!
