REINCARNATION OF THE INJURED DEVIL

Ezekiel Martin, born as Ezekiel Ruiz, was a forbidden existence from his birth. But he never hated it, because life never gave him a reason to hate his existence.

His father, Xander Ruiz, was the leader of one of the most dangerous Mafia gangs in the country of Lyria, the Ruiz Clan. Xander's first marriage was a marriage for power, arranged by his father. Neither he nor his wife, Sofia loved each other.

25 years ago.

One day, while carrying out a mission, Xander was heavily injured. For his life, he took refuge in a small town. The house that he lived in was owned by a young girl, Eve, who was an orphan.

Eve helped him with his wounds and took care of him for 3 whole months. Eve was smitten by this young handsome man, at the first sight. Gradually, Xander also fell in love with her.

He always felt that Eve was not as simple as she looked. She was out worldly. She had an angel-like appearance, a sweet voice, and a pleasant aura around her.

They became very close to each other. Xander always warned Eve to stay away from him, because he was dangerous. But Eve never listened. But Xander too never told her, that he was already married, maybe because he didn't want to lose the love of his life.

After three months, Eve found out that she was pregnant. She went home happily, intending to break the news to the father of her child. But when she reached home, she saw Xander getting ready to leave.

He said to her that his enemies have found him and he can't put her life in danger. "I am very sorry. I have to leave you now, but I promise I will come back, alright?"

Eve nodded. He kissed her one last time and left.

It's not, that she wanted him to leave. But she knew he was in danger, and it will bring him more trouble if he continued to stay there. Not to mention, their unborn child. She didn't say anything about her being pregnant.

After eight months,

Eve was heavily pregnant. Her delivery date was approaching but there was still no news of Xander. On the other hand, Xander was busy dealing with the problems he had, permanently!!

When Eve thought Xander would never come. He came back. But he was surprised to see his beloved, pregnant.

He wanted to take her back so badly, but anyway, he still had a wife. He asked Eve to give him two days.

He went back to Sofia and told her everything. Sofia may be a gangster's daughter and wife, but she was still a woman with a heart and a mother of two.

Though she gave Xander two sons, she never loved him. She was thankful to him, that he gave her the space she desired. And treated him as a friend.

When she heard that Xander was in love and the girl was pregnant, she decided to help them. After all, she too loved someone once, but her father forced her into this marriage.

She went to the town where Eve lived. When she told her that she was Xander's wife, Eve was horrified. But Sofia calmed her down.

She told her about their situation and even said to her that Xander can't divorce her, Or else, they will have never-ending problems between the two family gangs. Eve understood but she still was hesitant to accept the title of a mistress.

Sofia, of course, could understand her, She told her that Xander and she can get married but if her existence is hidden and no one will know about it, and no one will comment.

Eve agreed. And came to live with them.

Well, yes it is all messy. But it's all fine if everyone is happy.

Though Sofia helped them, she still had a concern. What if Eve's child is a boy? No matter what, Sofia was still a mother of two boys. And as a mother, her wish will always be to give the best to her sons.

Sofia's plan was if it was a girl, it was well and good. She would love her like her own and give her anything she deserves.

But If it was a boy, she will do anything to keep him away from the throne.

But a boy was born. Ezekiel Ruiz. As he grew up, her worries vanished, the poor boy was not very strong physically, which is a necessity for a Gang leader. Nor was Ezekiel any interested in it.

But his plus point was, that he was simply a genius. There was no problem he couldn't crack. The strategies that he came up with were incredible. He just wanted to help his brothers and father in the business and live a carefree life.

As Ezekiel grew, he became everyone's sweetheart. He knew the right thing to say to the right people at a right time. Soon enough, everyone in the gang started loving him. Even Sofia who treated her sons strictly had a very soft corner for him. She could not help but adore him. Not to forget about his father, he was his father's favorite child, and Xander was very proud of him.

But leaving everything aside, he was a mommy's boy. He loved his mother more than any other thing in this whole wide world. Ezekiel was also engaged to Anna, his childhood friend, and was a proper example of a man who respected women very much.

He had thought that, 'The world's strongest man is not the strongest. It is the woman who gave birth to him.'

Ezekiel didn't know about love but he indeed liked and respected Anna very much.

Everything was going well. Ezekiel couldn't ask for anything more as he had everything, he could ask for.

But this all changed on his 25th birthday.
