Prologue

In a spacious room of old Japanese style, an old man lay on a futon. His face was covered in wrinkles, and his head was adorned with gray hair.

"Haaa... Yu... Yuchi... ro..." The old man was on his last breath. His family sat beside him: children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The one he called was his great-grandson, Yuchiro, fifteen years old.

The boy approached his great-grandfather with tears streaming down his face.

"Yes, Oji-san..."

Still stuttering and breathing heavily, the old man spoke.

"Remove... no... throw away, haaa... throw away my computer... laptop... haaa... tablet and phone... in the water... do it... destroy everything..."

Everyone was surprised. They looked at each other, not understanding why he wanted this. Only Yuchiro knew the reason behind those words, so he smiled.

"Yes, Oji-san!"

And only after his great-grandson's promise, the old man closed his eyes...

The family mourned him, but each of them knew that he had long been prepared to leave this world, following his wife, but he had to continue living because of the promise... for 125 years...

------------------

On a high mountain filled with various unknown herbs, trees, and small streams that flowed like dragon veins across the land, giving the place a divine appearance.

On the grass, a young man of about 20 years old could be seen. Opening his eyes, the youth gazed at the sky for a long time before speaking.

"So, I've really made it to heaven?" His voice had a calm and indifferent tone, while his gaze expressed complete tranquility. He quickly accepted the situation.

"You could say that."

A voice sounded from somewhere ahead of him. The young man sat up and looked in the direction of the sound source. Before him stood a gazebo, inside of which was a pristine white table and two chairs. Seated at one of the chairs was an incredibly handsome man in his thirties, with long white hair that reached the floor.

"Who are you?"

Without reacting to the calm voice of the young man, the man sipping tea raised an eyebrow. He was slightly surprised by this person's composed reaction.

"Young man, you're quite calm."

The young man, who was lying on the grass, got up and approached the table. After waiting for an inviting gesture, he sat down on the empty chair.

"I'm no longer young." Upon uttering these words, the young man looked at his hands and opened his eyes slightly. His surprise was somewhat noticeable, but realizing that he was already dead and shouldn't be treading on the earth, he calmed down.

"If Heaven exists, I don't think there's anything more astonishing," he thought, accepting the cup of tea that materialized out of thin air.

"125 years is just a drop in the ocean," the man shook his head. "I forgot to introduce myself. I am God."

"...," the young man didn't even raise an eyebrow at the man's confession. After thinking for a moment, he expressed his suspicion. "God, who is sitting at a table talking to an ordinary person and drinking tea. Hard to believe."

The man smiled and explained at a leisurely pace everything the newcomer needed to know.

As it turned out, this man was an avatar of God, and there were countless others like him. Their task was to select individuals who had shown themselves in the best light and stood out among the masses. And although the young man had been unusual during his lifetime, there were countless others like him from different corners of the universe.

The youth nodded, showing understanding. He didn't consider himself special, even.

Ah... And he can also read thoughts...

- I have chosen a world for you to go to. What I want to do will be quite rough, so I'll give you another small compensation.

- The world I know? - the youth speculated. He already understood from the avatar's reaction that he had read his memories, which means that the world would also be familiar to him.

The avatar didn't answer his question and waved his hand. It was slightly unpleasant for him to answer the mortal's questions that exceeded the limits of what was allowed. For a human, reincarnation was already a great miracle and blessing. And sadly, the avatar liked this person sitting before him, because other deceased individuals start to panic, despite being chosen by him.

- State your wish, don't waste my time.

- ...I want to be the strongest in this world.

- No.

- ...I want to have more desires.

- ... - the avatar's eyelid twitched, and with irritation, he struck the table with his palm, and in the next second, the young man in front of him disappeared.

The avatar no longer paid attention to the mortal, completely forgetting about him.
