Connected fates !

Subhadra took a deep breath, steadying herself.

She could feel the power of the armor still protecting her, but she knew that any damage she inflicted on Pothia would now be mirrored upon herself. The stakes had changed dramatically.

In fact, not only the damage that she inflicts on Pothia would be reflected back on her,but even if Cynthia attacks Pothia or the other party attacks herself, resorting to self immolation, the damage would still be mirrored on her body.

This created a precarious situation where any miscalculated action could lead to her downfall.

Fortunately, Pothia didn't seem very interested in self immolation and Cynthia didn't seem to know the specific effects of the red arrow either.

Otherwise, with her vindictive nature, she would already be attacking Pothia regardless of the fact that they are on the same side, just to ensure Subhadra's defeat.

Subhadra assessed her situation quickly as her mind raced, considering her options.

The reflection of damage between her and Pothia was a perilous twist, one that demanded both strategy and precision.

She couldn't afford to be reckless, but she also needed to neutralize Cynthia swiftly and get revenge. Also, she needed to disable Pothia without causing severe damage to her that would unfortunately be reflected back onto herself.

Anyway, first, she had to keep Cynthia from realizing the effects of the red arrow since from her expression and actions , she also seems unaware of the effects of the artifact, that is , the red arrow used by Pothia.

After a brief moment of thinking, Subhadra formed a preliminary plan in her mind and decided to lure Cynthia away from Pothia, hoping to create enough distance to handle them one at a time.

Subhadra fixed her gaze on Cynthia, her eyes narrowing with determination. "You talk too much, Cynthia. Let's see how well you fight." With that, she charged at Cynthia, her fists blazing with power.

Cynthia, not one to back down from a challenge, met her head-on, lashing her whip in a wide arc. Subhadra dodged the initial strike, using her enhanced speed to get in close. She knew she couldn't afford to let Cynthia get too many hits in—every blow risked revealing the secret of the red arrow.

Cynthia swung her whip again, but Subhadra anticipated the move, ducking low and sweeping Cynthia's legs out from under her. Cynthia hit the ground with a grunt, but quickly rolled to her feet, her eyes blazing with fury.

"You'll pay for that!" Cynthia snarled, striking out with her whip again. This time, Subhadra caught the whip with her armored hand, yanking Cynthia toward her. She delivered a powerful punch to Cynthia's midsection, sending her reeling.

Subhadra didn't let up. She pressed her advantage, landing a series of rapid blows that left Cynthia struggling to defend herself. As she fought, Subhadra kept one eye on Pothia, making sure she stayed out of the line of fire.

Pothia, seeing Cynthia struggling, tried to take a shot at Subhadra, but Subhadra anticipated the move. She grabbed Cynthia and used her as a shield, forcing Pothia to hold her fire.

Although that wasn't the only reason Pothia wasn't attacking.

After all, with her archery skills, she could definitely get a few arrow in. But after the Needle of Fate connected their fates together, she was hesitating to attack Subhadra since she was in a sense attacking herself. And no normal person in their right state of mind would be happy to do that.

That's why she had always kept this artifact as a last resort, since it could save her life in a critical situation.

Although she always hoped to never get a chance to use it but unfortunately, today she had no other choice and was forced to use it because of the circumstances.

Meanwhile on the other side, Cynthia cried out in anger and pain, but Subhadra didn't relent. She needed to keep Cynthia occupied long enough to deal with Pothia by knocking her unconscious for the time being or something like that.

With a final, powerful punch, Subhadra sent Cynthia sprawling. She turned her attention to Pothia, who was already drawing another arrow. Subhadra knew she had to act fast.

She charged at Pothia, moving with blinding speed. Pothia fired her arrow, but Subhadra dodged, closing the distance between them.

She reached out and grabbed Pothia's bow, yanking it from her hands and snapping it in two using the explosive force she just absorbed when Cynthia attacked her.

Pothia gasped, stumbling back as Subhadra snapped the bow, leaving her unarmed.

Taking advantage of her inner turmoil and confusion, without hesitation, Subhadra delivered a swift, precise blow to Pothia's head, aiming to knock her unconscious without causing excessive damage that would be reflected back on herself.

And unexpectedly, it worked as she saw Pothia crumpled to the ground, unconscious.

"Ugh! No, I must hold on! I can't give up just yet."

At the same time as Pothia collapsed on the ground from Subhadra 's attack, Subhadra herself also grunted in pain that was mirrored from Pothia's body.

But thanks to her strong will and desire to avenge Dushala, Subhadra managed to handle it.

"Huff!"

She took a deep breath, steadying herself.

The immediate threat of Pothia and the damaging effects of the red arrow were neutralized, but Cynthia was still a threat and the main target of their revenge.

She still didn't forget what this witch did to Dushala and the pale face of Dushala as she laid injured on the bed, fighting for her life, kept flashing in her mind from time to time.

Subhadra turned her attention back to Cynthia, who was struggling to get up with a cold gaze.

Cynthia's eyes, though burning with rage, now also showed a flicker of fear. She had underestimated Subhadra's resolve and strength, a mistake she couldn't afford to repeat.

"You won't get away with this," Cynthia spat, her voice trembling with a mix of anger and desperation.

Subhadra's expression remained cold and determined. "I've already taken care of Pothia. You're next."

Cynthia, despite her bruises and exhaustion, lunged at Subhadra with her whip, her movements wild and erratic. Subhadra deftly sidestepped, her focus razor-sharp. She had no intention of prolonging this fight any longer than necessary.

"You'll pay for what you did to Dushala," Subhadra said, her voice steady and resolute.

Cynthia's face twisted with disdain.

"Hmph, don't blame me for what happened last time. It happened because Dushala was weak. Just like you and the other bitch over there. If not for that Aryan fellow, I would have finished all three of you right then and there."

The words stung, but Subhadra didn't let them distract her.

She had a mission, and she would see it through. She swore to not return without taking revenge for her sister Dushala

The next moment, Subhadra moved with speed and precision, dodging Cynthia's attacks and closing the distance between them.

Cynthia's whip lashed out again while twisting like a snake, but Subhadra caught it deftly, yanking Cynthia toward her.

With a powerful knee to Cynthia's stomach, Subhadra knocked the wind out of her. Cynthia gasped, doubling over in pain. Subhadra didn't relent; she delivered a series of rapid blows to Cynthia's torso, each strike fueled by her determination and anger.
