"Hurry up light, I wanna see Ryuzaki!" Hikaru pulled his older brother, who looked at the sky as his younger brother led the way. Light froze for a moment and looked at his younger twin,

"I don't think you have to wait anymore." He said, pointing behind Hikaru. Hikaru looked over and let out a piercing smile.

"Ryuzaki! You came to school!" Hikaru rushed over. "Ah, didn't you say you were scared going out? Are you okay?"

"Raito kun said it was lonely in school without me, and it seems Raito wasn't the only one missing my presents." L looked straight at the smaller twin, who blushed brighter than his eyes the moment they met his onyx ones. "So, I came to campus when I felt like taking a walk, I'm not worried about dying- the university is quiet a great place."

"Ah, It's misa!" Hikaru jumped and looked to where the voice came from, immediately moving Infront of the pale detective.

'Light!' Hikaru messaged.

'Get L out of here. Cover up any area where misa could see him.'- light

"We need to go," Hikaru whispered to the detective. L looked at Hikaru, who was desperately trying to get him up and going in the most discreet manner he could.

'Light, try and pick pocket her phone.' Hikaru messaged.

'And record when you get a call.'- hikaru

'Understood.'- light

"what's light doing?" L asked.

"Pickpocketing her phone." Hikaru whispered.

"Oh, I get it." L nodded and followed along. "Wait, we don't need to leave. Let's wait here."

"What if misa gets closer, or..." Hikaru shuddered. "We can't risk her seeing you..."

"It's going to be fine." L whispered. "She won't get to see me."

"Huh?" Hikaru asked.

'I got the phone.'- light messaged.

'L didn't want to leave, we are hiding over by the bigger tree near the bench we were at.'- Hikaru

'...So, L has a plan?'- Light

'It seems so.'- hikaru

"I'm back." Light walked over. "I have it, now what?"

"Put a tracer on it." Hikaru said. "And a microphone."

"Good ideas." L said. "However, it may not be necessary."

"What do you mean?" Light asked.

A familiar song, something the idol Ryuuga sang, jingled on the phone. Light tensed and hid behind the tree with the 3 of them close together.

"Answer it." L said.

"I was going to." Light whispered as he pressed answer.

'...Misa don't meet me at school!' Ohashi whisper yelled. 'You know what will happen if my father finds out.'

'He waited for Misa to respond first.'- hikaru messaged

'He knows we aren't her.'- light.

L also seemed to come to the same conclusion, looking a little disappointed. He was about to take the phone when Hikaru stopped him.

'Change voice to Mr. Reichi.'

<Command activated>

"Is this any way to treat a young lady, young man?" L looked at Hikaru, shocked. Light stayed quiet and waited for him to continue.

'Ah, Sir! I'm sorry, it won't happen again.' Ohashi yelped.

"It better not. Also, please pick up the phone tomorrow morning." Hikaru said.

'Why not now sir?' Ohashi asked.

"Unlike you youngsters, I have things to do." Hikaru scolded. "I'll bring the phone tomorrow morning. Have a good rest of your day..."

'It's Ohashi Tajima, sir.' He responded

"Yes, Have a good day Tajima." Hikaru hung up.

"What an interesting skill, Hikaru- kun." L praised.

"Hehe" He took the praise in a stride, but slightly condemning himself for not using it sooner. Light just gave him a soft comforting pat.

Ring ding ring!

"Ah, it's my phone this time." L reached into his pocket and answered. "Hm... Okay... It's done? I see."

'Is he talking the computer guy?'- hikaru messaged.

'No idea.'- light

"I've got good news." L looked to the twins. "In Amane room we found a lot of evidence. for example, hair, makeup powdered, and clothing fibers."

"We really caught 2nd kira so fast?" Hikaru stared at L in disbelief, soon turned into glee.

"Well, in order to prevent chaos that is certain to ensure the moment it gets out, we didn't publish that it was kira being caught. She's instead being arrested for illegal drug possession. It won't make too much of a public uproar seeing as she's a small-time model." L explained/

"... L I think we have to be careful when we interrogate her." Hikaru forced himself to calm down.

"Why is that?" L asked.

"If their power is indeed related to... Shinigami... We might have to prepare for... A vengeful god or at least something akin to one?" Hikaru said slowly.

"What do you say we do?" L asked.

"I honestly don't know," Hikaru said, sighing. "It's just something I feel should be brought up... I have a gut feeling about this, and it's normally right..."

"Hm..." L considered. "The theories you provided by far have been seen as true, especially involving the 2nd kira."

"So?" Hikaru asked.

"So, well will take precautions when dealing with Misa Amane." L compromised. "I however hope your gut feeling is wrong, it would make this case a lot more complicated than it already is."

"Yea... Hopefully." Light said.

"Is Ohashi Still not caught yet?" Hikaru asked, watching the girl in the monitor.

"We have nothing we can catch him for." L said. "It's unlike fabricating evidence on a model."

"Can we fabricate something?" Hikaru asked. "Like I can forage a cybercrime on him, he is a smart student that dabbles with computers."

"No, I want to see how he reacts." L said. "Any theories on how he's going to react?"

"Well... I have one for if the god of death is real, however if the god of death can't do anything personally." Hikaru said.

"Oh? why couldn't the god of death do something personally?" L asked.

"When We go into, say mythology or anything about gods that have a certain job... Can they do anything much outside it?" Hikaru asked. "Maybe the God of death was contacted threw a medium and only gives the power but has no power to save the human it's contracted with because it can't. If this god of death has some affection for Amane then wouldn't it go to Kira and make him help?"

"This is only if the god of death exist right?" L asked.

"If it doesn't or if it doesn't care then I doubt Kira would even attempt to save her." Hikaru said. "It would be an unnecessary risk, and I doubt Kira would want this ankle weight on his team."

"She has proven to be rather annoying, and if she is meeting Kira at his campus... then she's also impulsive and obsessive. Something Kira would rather do without." Light added.

"She's a risk, but why not kill her in the first place?" L asked.

"That's why I thought of a death god possibly having affection for Misa." Hikaru said, feeling rather smart about coming up with such an excuse. "Why else would he keep her? He could control her and make her disappear like he did to..."

"I get your point." L nodded. "We will monitor Ohashi Tajima during this period to see if he does react."

"Ryuzaki, there is one more thing..." Hikaru said. "We should probably pretend someone else is L on the team..."

"...Why?" L asked.

"We can't see the god of death, and if what I'm thinking is right then... It could potentially watch us..." Hikaru's voice went down to a whisper.

"If that's so... Then it's most likely to late." L said, causing Hikaru to jump.

"What do you mean?" Hikaru asked.

"As you said, it could be watching us at this moment. You are asking me about pretending someone else is L on the Team exposes the plan." L reasoned, Hikaru slowly figured out what he meant and stared at the ground. "It's okay, besides I wouldn't do that anyways."

"...Why?" Light asked.

"No one would believe that anyone but Maybe Asahi-san or Aihara could Be L, and I don't wish to put the risk I should be bearing on them." L said.

"So, your saying... If I said that ... I am L..." Hikaru thought for a moment. "No one would believe it? I believed you when Light told me about it."

"I still don't understand why you did." L said.

"My gut feeling!" Hikaru puffed up his chest. "It's almost never failed me."

"Huh..." L tilted his head.

'Ryuzaki, Misa has something to say.' the man said.

"Stream the video and audio over here!" L rushed over to look at the screen. The task members who were seated also rushed over.

'I... can't take it anymore...' Misa said weakly, but grew firm. 'kill me.'

"!!!" The task force kept as silent as they could.

'Kill me. Please kill me now.' she no longer hesitated.

"I heard she hasn't drunk water for 3 days..." Aizawa said.

"It's to cruel for a 20-year-old girl... she's probably at her limit." Matsuda said.

"Amane Misa, can you hear me?" Ryuzaki asked over the receiver.

'Yes...' Misa nodded as best she could in the restraining chair. 'I beg you... please... kill me...'

"Are you confessing your identity as the 2nd kira because we found a lot of evidence against you?" Ryuzaki asked.

'No... I don't know anything about the second kira...' She trembled. 'I can't take it anymore... death is a relief for me...Come! Kill me now!! Kill me instantly!'

"...I feel like she isn't talking to us anymore." Hikaru whispered, catching the attention of the rest.

'Yes, kill me.' Those words only fueled what Hikaru said, making them all focus on the words she says. 'Yes... do it... I can't take it anymore! kill me...no...no...just kill me... Misa was supposed to die at that time anyways...'

"Is she talking about the robbery?" Aizawa asked.

"Poor kid..." Matsuda followed.

'If I die now, I'll be happy... kill me while I'm still young and pretty...' She said, but she perked up as if she heard something she didn't want to hear. 'Okay! Do it! If you don't do it, I will!'

"Oh no, watari don't let her bite her tongue!" L yelled.

"Yes." An elderly man was already at the screen.

"I can also see the possibility of her talking to someone else... If she couldn't handle the torcher, she would have just confessed to being 2nd kira... however she yelled 'kill me instantly'..." "Watari, check on her." L immediately saw something wrong and called. The older man walked over to check on the girl.

"She passed out." Watari said.

"...I have a feeling something changed." Hikaru said, slightly frustrated. L looked to the younger twin for a moment...

"We'll see." He said, looking back to the monitor.

'Stalker- kun! Kidnapping is a serious crime! Let me go!' Misa screamed over the monitor. 'If you stop now, I won't tell anyone! I'll forgive you!'

"...I shall trust your gut feeling more often Hikaru-kun..." L said as he watched the suddenly new and energetic Misa from the monitor. "She changed... so much..."

"Wait, maybe she's trying to play innocent." Aizawa said.

"Matsuda-san, call Mogi-san." L demanded.

"Ah... okay." Matsuda took out his phone. Hikaru looked away and to his father, who was sitting head down on a chair next to the coffee table.

"You okay dad?" Hikaru asked.

"I'm fine... " his father took a deep breath. "I just have a migraine; I'll eat some meds and it'll be better."

"Okay... If you say so." Hikaru slowly walked back to the monitor.

He showed he cared; he just doesn't care too much to continue asking what's wrong. L also seemed to notice and silently noted down said information, but he didn't care. He wasn't going to fake a good relationship Infront of L, that'd be like indirectly lying to him.

'I'll give you an autograph! I'll shake your hand! Ah! I'll give you a kiss on the cheek! I won't run away! Promise!' She yelled desperately.

"Rather innocent things to give when 'imprisoned by a stalker.'" Hikaru mentioned.

"It's rather smart to offer a lower price to the dealer, if this isn't an act then she wants to meet the stalker in the middle." L said, Hikaru's eyes widened.

"That's... true. Wow I never thought of that." Hikaru said, amazed.

"Amane misa." L said to the microphone.

'Stalker-san! What are you going to do? are you going to release me?' She asked, hopeful.

"Before you fell asleep, you were screaming 'kill me, kill me'. why are you putting up such a worthless struggle now?" L asked.

'What are you talking about? you were the one who knocked me unconscious and brought me here!' She started to shake. '...? wait are you doing something like the 'complete examination of Amane Misa?'

"..." The whole room was quiet.

"...Why are you tied here?" L suddenly asked.

"Huh? Why because I'm your idol?" She said. "But you're probably the first stalker to go this far!"

"..." Matsuda went over the microphone, pissed. "Amane! Stop joking around! this is serious!"

'Wha...so... scary... what do you want from me? I don't want this... Release me! release me now!' She screamed. 'Ah... that's right... I need to go to the restroom! the restroom!'

"You just went to the restroom 4 minutes ago." Ryusaki said.

"A... pervert?" Light asked. "If she really doesn't know what's going on than that is a logical way to think..."

"...Amane. let's continue our talk from before you fell asleep. Do you know Ohashi Tajima? don't tell me you don't know him." L said.

'Eh? why wouldn't I know my boyfriend? you sure did your homework, stalker san...But Ohashi is way better then you!!' she yelled.

"Hey L, ask her how she met him." Hikaru whispered, L's back went straight as he looked to the screen.

"What the?" Matsuda looked on, confused.

"Amane, how did you meet Ohashi?" He asked.

'We met-!... we... met...' her yelling stopped with her voice growing confused. 'I met... Ohashi... in... Aoyama... it was love at first sight...'

"How did you get in contact with him?" Hikaru asked.

'I... I don't... I don't know...' Misa grew quiet. 'How... how do I not know?'

"You didn't talk to him in Aoyama?" Light asked.

'No... I was... eating out...' She did her best to think. 'Why can't I remember... what did you do to me!?'

L turned off the microphone.

"This is strange... it's like she has no memory of anything involving kira and those related to it..." He bit his thumb, contemplating. "It's like something just took out the memories involving it and just gave her what's left..."

"She's also being honest, well I think she is." Hikaru said, light nodded.

"If she was trying to lie, she would have never admitted to seeing Ohashi in Aoyama and not knowing how they came into contact later." Light looked over to L. "Meaning the first official meeting between them carried a lot of kira based information, or she's just dumbly acting."

"I'm willing to believe her memory was taken." L said. "It also stands to support Hikaru's God of death theory...We have to keep watch of Ohashi during this time period."

"...What if Ohashi pulls the same trick?" Hikaru asked.

"Then we will have to put them under 24/7 surveillance in case they do remember something..." L said.

"...When you say that I hope you don't mean chaining yourself to them." Hikaru said slowly.

"No, I'll use your bird drones to keep them on sight." L corrected. "I just need to learn how to use them."

"Oh! There is no need for that!" Hikaru happily perked up when he learned his invention changed the story line once again. "I made special tracking AI, allowing the drones to keep a constant surveillance with a self-charging function and a small wireless charging station."

"Oh, that makes this a lot easier." L nodded. "Do you have 2 of them?"

"I have a total of 3, with 3 wireless charging stations." Hikaru said.

Ring! ring!

"Hello? Watari?" L held his phone in his own odd way, but he almost dropped the phone as the old man talked. "He turned himself in... because he 'thinks' he's kira?"

'I have a bad feeling about this.'- hikaru messaged

'It's like your theory is moving... I never thought you'd be this good of an investigator.'- light

'No, it's only because I like the supernatural... and I'd be the stupid fangirl Misa is, only with L instead.'- Hikaru

'...Seriously?'- light

'Seriously.'- hikaru

"What...do we do about this?" Hikaru asked.

"Confine him... and see what happens." L said over their phone.

"God this is crazy." Aizawa took a deep breath in. "Did we catch both of them? Or..."

"I think kira has a plan." Light sat down. "Ohashi isn't the type to just turn himself in... unless he has no other choice."

"So, either he's being threatened, or he thinks he needs to get Misa out before she blabs..." Matsuda said.

"If it's about her talking, then just killing her will do the trick." Hikaru went over to sit right next to his brother. "If he couldn't kill her and worried about her speaking, he would rather run away with a new identity... his ability to control people before death would make that go swimmingly."

"So... he's being threatened by something he can't run from." L bit his nail, thinking. "Huh, well then. Let's see how he plans this."

"Off to confinement he goes!" Hikaru cheered.
