Rematch but not quite

(Shirou's pov)

It's not like I didn't expect such outcome but it still doesn't help me. The biggest but not the only one problem is Angelica that is in possession of Gilgamesh's card. Unlike him she doesn't have as big of a pride as him so she won't hesitate to fire off Ea and I don't have any good counter against it and neither does Cu-san. He probably would be able to defeat her but that would leave Beatrice running wild and with her monstrous strength it wouldn't be a pleasant experience.

I looked towards the girls and Gilgamesh when a realization hit me. I rushed towards them.

Shirou: "Who have a Saber card?"

Everyone: "Huh?"

Shirou: "Don't huh me, we don't have time."

Everyone pointed to Bazett.

Bazett: "It would be me, yes."

Shirou: "Let me borrow it."

Bazett: "I'll let you borrow it for a favor."

Hearing that my instincts went into overdrive and warned me not to accept it but this card is what'll ensure our victory.

Shirou: "Fine, but I won't accept any order you throw at me."

Bazert seemingly satisfied with my answer gave away her card.

The servant cards are are alternative to summon a part of servants strength but as I was able to observe, they still preserve a bit of an ego. When you use 'install' you get part of an experience of a servant which car you are using for example using Saber card you get swordmanship knowledge but the best example of their egos still existing is while in their shadow form, servants were behaving in a similar way to original. Medea using tactics to lay out traps, Emiya using Triple-Linked Crane Wings followed by an arrow and of course Altoria talking to me at the end of out fight to name a few.

Because of this facts there is possibility that you can summon the servant of a card you are possessing without using your body as a catalyst and without your own reserves draining down. You would still need catalyst of course but as I have the best possible one inside me for the card I'm currently holding, this isn't a problem.

Shirou: "SUMMON SABER!!!"

A card lit up blinding everyone around. After the light died down a figure of girl that looked 14 years. She had a blonde hair braided in a bun. She wore white-blue dress covered by a silver armour. In her hand she was holding an invisible sword. A wind seemed to dance around it.

At first she had closed eyes but by opening them she showed confusion.

Artoria: "Archer? No, Shir-"

I stopped her before she could say anything more. The only one who reacted to it was Rin but I would not discover it until later.

Shirou: "Archer is fine."

She quickly caught up what I was going with it and nodded her head but her ahoge danced around happily.

Artoria: "Very well then, Archer. It's good to see you again."

The last part was said in a quite voice.

Shirou: "Cu-san please protect everyone while Saber and I fight these two."

Cu-san was in his signature pose holding Gae Bolg behind his head while supporting his hands on it on near both ends of the spear.

Cu: "And I thought I will have my time to shine, especially against the blonde hair one."

Saying this his eyes shine brighter showing his hunger for battle. Sometimes I forget who he his, a warrior who enjoys combating worthy opponent.

Shirou: "Sorry Cu-san but I could fight without worry knowing that someone like you is protecting them."

Cu-san just waved his hand.

Cu-san: "Don't worry about it, just go there and don't die."

I smiled.

Shirou: "Thank you."

I turned towards Angelica and Beatrice leaving the group behind my back. Most of them had eyes full of worry but Miyu was not only worried but also scaried.

Miyu: "...n't."

Hearing almost too quiet voice to reach my ears I returned my sight towards her.

Shirou: "What is it?"

Miyu: "DON'T, JUST PLESE DON'T!!! I DON'T WANT TO WATCH PEOPLE BE HURT BECAUSE OF ME. THEY'LL LEAVE EVERYONE HERE IF I'LL JUST GO WITH THEM SO WHY... WHY ARE YOU WILLING TO RISK YOUR LIVE FOR SOMEONE YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT WELL!!! I.. I don't want to see more people close to me hurt because of me."

She had tears in her eyes the entire time but she broke down even more towards the end. If not before now I had even more reason to fight them.

I walked up to Miyu and started headpatting her and said with the gentle tone.

Shirou: "How could I let them take you when you obviously don't want to be separated with your friends here and even if you were taken I'm sure that your friends here would go after you to save you so I just save them some trouble. Besides things became personal for me."

The last words were full of killing intent scaring the girls and amusing Gil but noticing that I forcefully relaxed.

Shirou: "Sorry, what I want to say you don't need to worry and just let me handle the situation."

With these words I returned to Artoria's side facing our enemies.

Shirou: "Sorry for the wait and thank you for the patience."

Angelica: "You'll die here anyway so it doesn't make a difference if I'll wait a minute or two."

She had emotionless expression and voice making her statement even more scary.

Beatrice: "I waited because it is even more entertaining to watch them struggle and hoping for their plan to work."

She showed a smile full of sharp teeth.

Shirou: "Saber you take the short one and I'll go against the blonde one.

Artoria readied her sword and rushed towards Beatrice. Her Excalibur collided with her Mjölnir.

Beatrice: "Are you the one that will play with me this time? I hope you won't break as fast as the one before."

Artoria didn't say anything focusing entirely on the fight.

Beatrice: "A quite one."

She licked her lips.

Beatrice: "I can't wait to hear you scream."

While their fight started to unravel, Angelica and I were having staring contest. She was the one to break it. The golden ripple appeared behind her and a sword started to emerge from it. I looked at it, analysed, created and made said swor fly towards hers. It took just few seconds to do that. This made Angelica widen her eyes breaking her emotionless expression.

Shirou: "Hoh~ So you can make that expression."

Angelica: "How, you are not suppose to be here."

Shirou: "Who knows, maybe I'm not even the person you think of. The only thing you need to know is..."

I projected Kanshou and Bakuya.

Shirou: "...that I'll be the one to stop you."

I threw the swords at her but they phased through her. To answer my attack even more golden ripples showed behind Angelica and a lot of weapons started to fire off. I tried to analyse them all but they were too many of them. I could dodge the ones that I didn't counter though.

I wanted to fight for a little while without using my Reality Marble but it seems it would hurt otherwise and even if I'll regenerate I don't like pain even if my actions contradict it.

I started chanting.

Shirou: "I'm the bone of my sword..."

Hearing me Angelica started to shoots her weapons with more intensity but I blocked them all with Rho Aias.

Shirou: "...Steel is my body and fire is my blood..."

Seeing that her attacks are blocked she unleashed the gigantic blade Ig-Alima. Analysing it is impossible as it is divine construct but knowing it is possible to copy at least the outer layer of the sword I tried it anyway. It made my eyes hurt for a bit and some part of my skin and hair started to change to it's alternative colour but I meange to block the incoming blade with my own. Unfortunately mine was broken in the process as it was just empty imitation but it bought me enough time for the next verse to be completed.

Shirou: "...I have created over thousand blades...

Angelica started using Enkidu to try to bind me but I avoided them for the first few seconds.

Shirou: "...unknown is my future nor know is my past..."

With every verse Angelica lost more and more of her cool but she finally succeeded in capturing me. Having my arms, legs, body and even neck restricted by the golden chain didn't stop my words though.

Shirou: "...Withstood pain to create weapons hoping for the better future..."

With every word the Enkidu around my neck started to tighten making it more difficult to speak but seeing that her tactic didn't work she was preparing to fire off swords once again at her immobilized target. She used her magecraft to accelerate her blade to finish me off once and for all.

Shirou: "...yet, besides everything else..."

The sword started to fly at unbelievable speed but before it could reach I managed to finish the chant.

Shirou.: "the present holds Unlimited Blade Works."

With the chant completed the illusionary fire started to spread out. Strangely enough it disint emit any kind of heat, it did however blinded Angelica for a moment. The world no longer was clouded and foggy, it wasn't even raining. Instead of that, what welcomed everyone inside was bright sunrise. This time you could see the whole hill full of swords anchored in the ground. In the sky you could see enormous gears turning slowly but surely. I took the sword closest to me out from the ground and pointed towards Angelica who had rare frown on her face.

Shirou: "Let's do this, King of Heroes."
