The Vampire's Sin
"I've lost everything, family, friends, there's nothing left in this world for me, and I deserve this. This was my sin".
Confining himself to his room everyday, chatting away on 'Distort', he had become a sad, fat, lonely shell of his former self. It was their fault, it was the fault of his high school bullies, or so he would tell himself everyday. All of his problems were their fault. The fact he had shut himself in his room, the fact he had treated his parents horribly, the fact he had become a loser, it was all their fault. Or was it? Wasn't he the one who gave up on himself first?
One night, deciding to walk to a convenience store after an argument online, he saw a group of high schoolers on a crosswalk bickering. Noticing a car heading towards them at lightning speed, he tries to warn them to no avail, and so he springs into action pushing them out of the way as a means to appease his shitty life. Even if he were to die, at least he would have done something good for once in the last 11 years. He ends up dying gruesomely in the process.
In his final moments he thought that was it, that all his misfortune had finally gotten to him, that he was finally sent to hell for his past sins and mistakes.
However, he was reborn as a baby in a new world different from his where mana and monsters exist!
