CHAPTER 93 ; ELEMENTAL PHOENIX

"You're now a divine lord. You're supposed to come with us " Their leader said

" Nah. You guys should get lost .for now " Junshi said in a nonchalant manner

He turned away from them

" Since you don't want to go the easy way, we'll go the hard method,d, " One of them said

Most of them moved to attack Jia as they thought she was weak while the leader and a few others attacked Junshi

The elemental phoenix had a sly smile on its face

Jia turned into liquid water(water mimicry) and slammed the divine lords to the ground. Then she manipulated the terrain (terra kinesis)and formed a deep pit in which she sealed them in.

"Phoenix, you must be hungry," Jia said in a cold voice

The phoenix nodded and tore the divine lords apart. They all died at the phoenix's hands

Jia looked up and saw that Junshi had turned into a grey wolf

Although he was strong, A certain divine lord was trying to play sneak attacks. Jia formed a water spear and stabbed the divine Lord's heart. He died on the spot

Junshi tore the bodies of the divine lords apart but somehow, the leader managed to escape by creating an interdimensional rift

" Do I get to turn into a phoenix? " Jia asked the elemental phoenix

" If I like " The phoenix replied entering Jia's body

" Elemental powers are nice, " Jia thought to herself playing with a fire barrier

Junshi reverted to his human form and fell to the ground with a thud. He was really weak and spent

Jia used a water ball to pull him over

He had already passed out

" Phoenix? " Jia asked

" I'm an elemental phoenix. I don't have healing powers. But, he'll be fine soon...Did I say soon??! he's been poisoned " The phoenix said panicking

" Poisoned? With what? " Jia asked touching his cold body

" The poison wouldn't normally work on him but he has acquired a wolf spirit. That divine lord is a big schemer " The phoenix said with a darkening smile

" Schemer? Phoenix, I'm confused " Jia said with a frown

" That fat thing poisoned Junshi with something called Wolfsbane. That can kill him. That guy thought we wouldn't find the cure and we'd have to come crawling to them " The phoenix explained

" So, what can you do about this? " Jia asked

" Luckily, Wolfsbane is a mineral so. This little phoenix can do something about it. Again, what do you have to offer? This is a hard thing " The phoenix said slyly

" What do you want? " Jia asked with a deep sigh

" I wish to meet Chaos King himself, " The phoenix said plainly

" Chaos king? That is not in my hand. He knows how to contact Chaos King. Wait, what's up with chaos king?! " Jia said

" That's none of your business Xue, " The phoenix said shutting its eyes

" Don't ever call me by that name " Jia said with a low growl

The phoenix ignored her and possessed Jia's body

Jia shut her eyes and the image of his internal system was in her mind. The Wolfsbane was getting dangerously close to his heart.

She extracted the Wolfsbane slowly and it came out of his skin in thick black puddles

Shortly after, all the Wolfsbane was eliminated

The phoenix didn't possess Jia anymore

"Thanks," Jia said

Junshi's wolf roared. It came out of his body

It was a cold grey wolf. Its menacing eyes scanned the surroundings and it entered Junshi's body back

Junshi tried to get the water off him but it wouldn't go

" Hello Cherry " Jia said with a demonic smile

" Pumpkin, get this water off me will you? " Junshi said with a scowl

" Not yet, " Jia said firing several jets of water at him

She sometimes fired ice crystals at him

" Done " Jia said dusting her hands

Junshi had a scowl on his face. Then he lifted her with one hand

"Put me down," Jia said

Junshi shook his head

She controlled the ground and it partially sucked him in and she escaped

" I saw your wolf. He seems mean " Jia said with a smile

Junshi brought his wolf out

The elemental phoenix stared at it and unknowingly muttered the word ' Fael '

Jia had a frown on her face

" Fael? You..... " The phoenix trailed off

" You did too. Phoenix " Fael(Junshi's wolf) said in a nonchalant tone

" You're still so cold, " The phoenix said with a sigh

She moved close to the wolf and the wolf stomped its forelimb on the ground ice crystals rushed to attack the phoenix but it protected itself with a firewall

" Elemental phoenix. Don't push it " Jia said

The wolf bared its fangs at the phoenix before returning to Junshi's body

The phoenix returned to Jia's body

" You seem addicted to trying to die don't you think? " Jia said with a smile

" No. Let's just say death has a budding crush on me " Junshi said in a low voice

" It wouldn't dare " Jia threatened

" Phoenix wishes to meet chaos king " Jia continued

" I don't think that would be possible. Because that guy is a nomad but I'll try " Junshi said with a smile

"And who are you calling a nomad," Chaos King said appearing out of the blue

The elemental phoenix jumped out and tried to hug chaos king

Chaos King stood there looking stupefied. The elemental phoenix disappeared into Jia's body

" What is up with you and a phoenix? Flirting with a phoenix. What more can you do" Junshi taunted

Chaos King vanished out of sight
