Chapter 4 (1,500 years in the past)

I woke up on the floor in a dark room, I could not see anything the only thing I saw was the stars in the dark sky outside the window and the ground was cold very cold and I was alone with no idea where I was. Sitting on the floor I rest my back on the wall with my hands wrapped around my legs as I thought of how messed up my life was, I hated my life, I wish it was different, I wish I didn't have to go through all this, I wish my mother was alive, she won't let me go through all this, she won't let this happen to me. I wanted to cry but I couldn't, I don't remember the last time I cried even if I wanted to the tears will never come out.

Sitting by myself with million thoughts in my head I had no idea what to do, I sigh in frustration with my eyes closed. Then it hit me, I knew exactly what you do, I knew exactly what I had to do to stop all this. I smiled as that name made its way to my lips "Luna " just immediately I was taken to that familiar white environment and in front of me stood a familiar beautiful face, smiling at me

" It took you long enough," she said

" You said I can have a better life if I do this" she nodded at my question and said

" You and everyone worthy of a better life "

" So all I have to do is go to the past and make sure prince Rowan doesn't do something crazy," I asked her to be sure

" That is part of the mission " the smile that she gave showed that there was more, but whatever it was I will figure it out

" Ok let's do this," I said taking a deep breath " so what is going to happen, " I asked looking around

" You will wake up in the next 3 seconds. and also, good morning my lady " she said

" What? " Before I could ask what she meant I was out, left in confusion

" My lady gets up, we are running late " I had an unfamiliar voice say to someone immediately I woke up just to find myself in a well-furnished old-fashioned room and me lying on the king-size bed wearing a nice simple garment.

" Lady Natalia ?" I heard the voice again this time louder and I turned to see a young lady dressed as a maid, she had long red hair and blue eyes, she was average in height and her skin was not clean " lady Natalia are you okay "

" Who are you?" I asked trying to comprehend what was happening

" My lady are you all right, you must have hit your head pretty hard last night for you to ask such a question "

" Wait what, lady? Where am I " looking really confused

" You are in your room " the girl answered

" My room " I repeated in a low voice, wondering if Luna took me to the wrong place. I looked at the young lady who seemed worried and I smiled at her deciding to play along

" I should call a doctor " she was about to walk out but I immediately stopped her

" No no I'm fine," I said to her, she looked at me for a long time

" My lady you know how I hate jokes like this " she was almost angry

" I'm sorry " I apologized for my behaviour" but I got you, you should have seen your face " I faked a laugh

" It's not funny," she said immediately I stop " are you sure you are okay " wanting to be certain that I was alright and nodded

" I'm fine really " I assured her and she gave a small smile

" Good, ok your bath will be ready in 3 minutes, we will leave for Bengland in an hour and you are not ready yet " as those words came out of her mouth I became more confused

" Leave for Bengland ?" I repeated

" Yes, The bridal event will begin in two days, so we're leaving today " she left. Immediately I came down from the bed

" Luna? " I called her name, I need an explanation

" So that went well," Luna said from behind me, she will sit at the window and she waved at me " hi "

" Okay what is going on, where the hell am I, " I asked

" In Aldovia " she replied

" Why am I in Aldovia and what's with the title "

She began to explain " you can't just go into Bengland and tell the King that oh King Richard I am here to save Bengland. You will only look like an idiot " and she was right, I will look like an idiot

" But I thought you would just take me to that very day the king died, and I will stop Rowan from running away "

" Oh Natalie, a lot more happened before then " her tone sounded mocking " a lot of mysteries that had to be solved and you have to follow it step by step or else the Mission will all go to waste

" Wow I guess I am staying longer than expected " I rolled my eyes " so why the title "

" You are King Robert's daughter," she said

" But King rabbit doesn't have a Daughter " I wondered

" Well he does now, and you will go to Bengland and attend the bridal event, only then will things become easier, it will help you get closer to Rowan " I nodded in agreement

" Ok, this is a lot more than I thought, " I said.

I wasn't really worried about The bridal event, because I knew for sure that Rowan wasn't picking a bride, I have read a lot about Rowan and in every bridal event he rejects every bride, so I had nothing to worry about

" Natalia?"

" Yes "

" If you are here for just a mission and nothing more, then try not to get picked," she said

" that is not a problem," I said confidently

" I'm afraid it is " she gave a weird smile " the maid's name is Ella " with that she vanished into the thin air

" My lady " I was interrupted by Ella

" Yes " I replied

" Your bath is ready " I smiled with no idea what to do next, I was taken to a room where my hot bath was prepared and honestly, I have never had such an amazing bath before, the water smelled like flowers and as I wash my skin I felt it was getting whiter, Ella got curious and ask why I was so happy and I replied by saying nothing. I think I was going to enjoy this princess thing but I won't enjoy the dresses, I hated it, I wondered how women then breathe in this dress, but what can I do

" You look lovely lady Natalia " Ella complementary as I stood in front of the mirror looking at myself

" I look like a powder puff," I said feeling annoyed

" No you look perfect " Ella corrected and I rolled my eyes

" Oh s***," I said in a low voice

" Natalia your language " she warned and I gave her an awkward smile still wondering how she heard me

" Sorry " Just then we had a knock on the door and a small voice followed

" Natalia it's me " I blinked, cuz I had no idea who it was

" Oh dear it's your father " immediately she took a few steps away from me

" May I come in?" he asked

" Ummm yes " I wasn't sure what to do and then the door opened revealing a tall man in his late 40s, with dark hair and dark eyes he was strangely handsome

" Oh my, Natalia, you look lovely in that dress" he complimented as he reached out and pulled me for a hug and I had no choice but to have him back

" Thank you father," I said feeling a little awkward. Well don't blame me, anyone would

" How was your night, did you sleep well last night, does your head still hurt " he looked worried when he asked those questions, and for that reason, I felt happy, that my dad cared even if it was a fake Dad

" I'm fine, great actually, " I said nodding my head

" You see Natalia, I know you don't want this, but you are a woman and every woman has to get married and every father wants his daughter to marry the right man and Prince Rowan is the right man " I kept nodding as he spoke " this is for your good, I want you to be happy"

" I know father, I get it " he smiled at my understanding

" That's my princess " well I was shocked, it was the first time my father called me princess and I like it " we should leave now "

" Yes " agreed with him and we walk out together. I was on a mission, a mission for a better life and I have to succeed
