Chapter 2 ( meeting luna )

" Are you okay," he asked

" Yeah I'm cool, can we talk about something else," I said trying to change the subject, I didn't want to think about negative things

" Like what ?"

" Like school, how did it go?" I asked him still mopping the floor

" School? " He repeated like a question " school went great " I heard the excitement in his voice

" I can see that " I smiled

" Remember the other day I told you about the girl I liked, and you said I should make a move on her?" I pause and instantly raised my head to look at him

" Yes I do "

" So today I confessed my feelings for her and guess who got himself a girlfriend" The moments those words came out of his mouth, I felt a slight pain in my chest, a very strange one, I wasn't upset, nor was I happy, I didn't understand what I was feeling, I felt like I was going to scream but I can't do that not in front of Jonathan, He was my friend, my only friend so I have to be happy for him.

" Really" with excitement in my tone " You and Lisa are dating now "

" Yeah, it's a shock right?"

" Yeah, a big shock, I didn't expect it "

" Thank you, little sis, it was possible because of you, you're the best, " He said in a soft tone that made me smile even more

" I know right, not every day you come across a little sis like me, "I said proudly feeling sad inside " I am so happy for you "

" I am happy for me too, thanks, " He said " oh I almost forgot I have something to discuss with my father, excuse me" nodding my head in response, He left me alone in the kitchen with my thoughts.

I guess it happened already, what was I thinking, that Jonathan will fall in love with a girl like me, that Jonathan will pick me over Lisa, I mean Lisa was a beauty queen and I was a servant no matter how close Jonathan and I were, we were still from a different world and that I can't change.

Standing all by myself in the kitchen, my heart was aching badly and the last time I felt like this was when my mother died, it was a feeling of losing someone very important and right now I just lost Jonathan.

" Wait? " I said out loud, thinking things through " what the hell am I doing, I mean Jonathan and I are still friends, so? " I could not believe myself, I am Natalia so put your f****** head together and get to work, I talked to myself " I am Natalia and things like this don't break me down " with those words, I ignored everything and went back to work. I can't spend the rest of my day thinking about a broken heart when I have things to do.

Singing the song ' kill this love ' by black pink in my head as I walked home, I was never really a fan of black ink but right now I needed to kill this love. Realizing that my crush was never going to see you as anything more than a little sis hurt. Love is b******* what was I thinking.

The way that leads back to my hometown was quiet and surrounded by bushes and trees, we've heard a lot of death cases in the area so I was fully alert, ready to run if things get out of my head, after all, running was like a path of my life. Suddenly my environment became a little bit chilly, for no reason my entire body was sensitive, I felt like I was being watched and followed, I turned several to check if anyone was there but I found no one and it's still felt like someone was watching, someone was following me.

I began to move fast, but not run, I could not risk running because I won't know if I was running into whatever I was running from so instead I walked fast. I got to a point that my legs could not move again, not just my legs, My entire body, I will stalk in one place, like a statue, I tried moving but I couldn't, it was like something was holding me like a magnet, pinning my legs to the ground. " Shit, what is going on " now I was scared, I couldn't comprehend what was going on, why can't I move ?, It's made no f****** sense " if this is a prank, it should stop " I yelled and was answered by silent " arrr" still trying to move and it became scarier when everywhere went blank, my eyes were open but I couldn't see anything " f***" I shouted out, and then it suddenly became bright again but when I say bright I mean white bright, the entire environment became white, left, right, up, down. Nothing was in sight " is this some kind of horror movie in reality" breathing heavily, trying to keep calm, maybe I could figure out what was going on " what is happening" I whispered under my breath " hello " I called out but there was no response

" You seem frightened Natalie " a sudden voice interrupted from behind me, immediately I turn on my heels just to see a young lady standing before me, she was tall and slim, with perfect curves, had long straight blonde hair and beautiful dark green eyes and there was something about her smile That told me I was safe and I believed her " how wonderful it is to see you again, lady Natalia " I blinked in shock

" You say what now " there was something fishy about the young lady " sorry have we met before? "

" It's a story for another day," She said

" Another day? Wait, what is going on here and where am I" I asked confused at what was going on " who are you? "

" No one and you are nowhere " I raised an eyebrow still lost

" Sorry but, those are actual words but make no sense"

" This is my place," She said looking around " I would have taken you to your place but your place is not a comfortable place to be "

" Ok lady can you please explain to me what is going on because I am trying to hold myself from passing out

" My name is Luna," She said " and I am the supreme protector"

" You say what ?" Not understanding a s*** that she was saying " protector of what?"

" The gate, The gate between time " gate between time? What the hell is she talking about, is this some kind of Marvel movie. I didn't want to believe her at first but as I looked at my environment it was clear that the young lady was magic

" grr, grr " I cleared my throat "so Luna supreme protector of the gate, what do you want from me "

" It's time Natalia," She said

" Time for what?" I asked for further explanation

" Time to face your destiny " there was a seriousness in her tone " You were destined to save Bengland "
