Ahhh where did New York go. Crap, I died didn't I. Shoot, I knew I should never have gotten involved.

My name is Tepp. I am or better yet was an orphan genius on earth. I had an eidetic memory and was a step away from curing cancer. But, I am pretty sure I was assassinated by one of my friends from the F.D.A.. That a hole didn't even do it personally I bet.

Ha ha, I am the eldest. That was petty my younger brother, but understand it's for the best. Wait you are a brother right.

Finally, thanks to all that is holy. That was tiring. Ever since I was born I have been trying to analyze everything about this system and world.

Apparently, this world is full of magic but only for those who are spiritually adept and even then you also have to put in a lot of work.

So, I worked as hard as I could, which is difficult because we are poor.

We live in a tiny village in the wilderness that is "protected" by a baron. It's more extortion than protection really. Mother works as an herb gatherer she must submit 90% of her herbs to the barony or she would be punished.

Only being able to live off of the other 10%. But, now me and my brother are old enough to help.

"Tepp come on it's time to go and help mom!" That's my brother Amenhotep.

Since we were twins and mother saw that we were smart for our age we were named Imhotep and Amenhotep. I personally have no problem with it because my nickname is still Tepp.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Hurriedly since I got my first level I have to figure out where to put these 10 attribute points.

But first, what are my priorities. What do I want from this life I want…Fear I want to be so strong that no one would dare shoot me as a way to take my research and cover it all up.

That seems about right. I need to be smart to harness the elements better and I need a strong will to sense them and harness more. I need to be durabile to take a hit and I need might be strong physically so that seems to be a good breakdown for now.

As I come downstairs I immediately look for Amen. Over the years we became really close. Mostly because we both were reborn and have systems, but we agreed not to talk about our past lives and to take care of each other in this life.

The reason we get along so well is because we are complete opposites. He was working out all these years while I was reading. But, together we take care of ourselves and mom.

Our mom Sarah, poor soul. She was a child prodigy. A genius warrior but she got pregnant and decided to run away and hide it, then go back home when we were born and claim that we were orphans that she took pity on in her travels. But, she couldn't bring herself to say that so she told us that once we are strong enough to look after each other we will go back so that we may learn properly.

So that made me and Amen work even harder. She works as an herb gatherer because its a simple yet lucrative job and it allows her to get stronger while doing it. Today we can finally go with her.

"Amen are you ready?" The second I see him I can immediately see that his focus for his stats are the complete opposite of mine. His muscles have expanded by a good bit. Which, looks a little funny considering we look exactly the same but now he's bigger.

"Yes, we have been waiting on you." He gives me a knowing nod then grabs a giant basket and throws it over his shoulder to wear it like a backpack. We already agreed that I would be the one looking for and grabbing the herbs with my eidetic memory and he would be the one carrying them.

"Are my boys ready?" Mothers calls out as she walks towards the door. Still so young only in her mid 20s. If I had to describe her I would say she looks like Urd.

"Yes, maam. We're ready." We say simultaneously.

"Alright follow me and keep in formation." With that she sets off with us right behind her in an equilateral triangle formation.
