Departure Of A Flriend.

~21 YEARS LATER~

<LION UNIVERSITY, HILLDALE, MASAN>

"Denzel!"

A boy in his twenties, Miller Denzel, yawned as he raised his head from his desk. He looked around the hall, stretching his neck to the front to check if their boring lecturer had left the class.

'Finally', Denzel thought as he turned back to carry his bag that he hung on the chair he sat on. It was his last lecture for the day.

"Denzel"

Another fellow about his age came to him. Denzel raised his head as soon as he heard his name.

"What else do you even do other than to sleep?"

"You got a problem with that?"

Denzel's friend, known to be Carter hit him on his head.

"Huh, you want to go?"

Denzel put on a scary face to Carter as he spoke.

"Yeah, let's go"

Denzel stood and they both held each other's shirt. They grinned their teeth like Bulls who were about to fight. They left their shirts and laughed out as they dropped their hands.

Denzel was a blonde-haired fellow with a height of about 5feet 9. He had a handsome oblong face which was well-chiselled and he also had a well-built body. He was one any girl should wish for but he had one fault- He had a very childish personality. He was always cheerful.

"Denzel"

He heard a very soft voice from behind him and it came from the girl he had a crush on. He turned, giving her a very strange smile.

"Yes?"

"Uhm… I want to discuss something with you."

"Me?"

He made a face that made him look stupid. He gave an odd smile and looked at his friends. His friends understood what he was trying to say. It meant for them to get out.

They sighed and left him alone. He had a habit of chasing them away whenever he had the chance to ask her out, but at the end of the day, his plan always fails.

"What is it, Leia?"

"Uhm, I kind of like have a confession to make"

'To me?', Denzel thought as he heard the word 'Confession'. His eyes were opened wide in surprise.

"Confession? Hmmm. Go on"

"Uhm, I am sorry but…"

'Sorry? Is she about to break my heart?' Denzel gave a second thought wondering if she was about to give him a blow in the heart. He bowed his head looking sad.

"Uhm, I am sorry but I would be leaving Masan Next tomorrow"

"Huh?"

Leia made a sad face.

"I know...

I know you have feelings for me"

Denzel's face turned red immediately.

"Huh, you knew??"

He scratched his head as his mind went blank.

"I am sorry I am just telling you this now, I am really sorry, I know you don't want to see me leave after all the bond we have made together."

"Yeah you are actually right there, I don't want to see you leave but I know it is for the best."

"Denzel, thanks a lot for understanding."

"Yeah, yeah, That's why I have feelings for you, I feel like I can trust you so, will you be my girlfriend for a day?"

"Uhm, I am sorry but I would..."

"Never mind, I get the answer. By the way, have you told Ariel?"

"No, I haven't told anyone."

"Woah, you mean I am the first? Mann, I expected you to have given Ariel a little hint. Alright, you gonna have to tell Carter and the rest."

"I know, I just couldn't get myself to..."

"Carter, Ted, Ariel, Rocco! Come closer!"

One by one, they got closer to listen to what Denzel had to say. It was unusual for Denzel to invite them to join in on his discussion with his crush and that got them surprised.

Luna Ariel who always wasn't on good terms with Denzel came forward.

"Hey, Dense, what do u want from us?"

"Actually, it isn't me who called you, it's Leia, she has a confession to make."

Creed Leia, the daughter of the mayor of Hilldale, Mayor Creed King, was one of the richest in their year. She was reserved and shy. People often saw her as someone with lots of pride and that made lots of people resent her. The only people she had as friends were Miller Denzel and 4 others- Allen Carter, Dalton Ted, Luna Ariel and Hall Rocco.

Leia raised her head.

"Uhm, Next tomorrow, I will be leaving Japan, I am really sorry I am just breaking it to y'all now."

"What?"

The four of them yelled as they were shocked.

"Nooo!"

Ariel jumped on Leia to hug her, She kept screaming in fake tears.

"When will you be back?"

"I ain't sure about that yet."

The five of them looked surprised, they never expected the news that was broken to them and amongst them all, Ariel overreacted throughout as she kept screaming and crying, but then again, that was to be expected because Ariel was Leia's First friend.
