"Gina, shut up, please. I'm fine." Lucas said, cracking his back.

"Oi, don't tell me to shut up!" Gina pouted, smacking him upside the head, "You're lucky my girlfriend is letting us stay in Atlantis."

After the whole 'Brent turning into a beast' fiasco, Lucas got pretty banged up. He had a nasty bruise on his stomach and broken a few ribs, but otherwise fine. Rumors had broken out around the castle that it was much worse and some even said that he was dead.

Lucas found it exhausting but luckily Atlantis was right under the Northern Castle. With Diana's influence, and a bit of magic, they were able to stay underwater in Atlantis Kingdom, while Lucas's wounds heal.

His physical wounds, that is. The emotional trauma he still had was unreal.

"Brent's mother killed my mother," he said, not a question, just as a reminder, "And then he almost killed me."

They sat in the guest room that Lucas was staying in, Gina griping about how he should really put something on that bruise on his stomach.

"It's not like he wanted to kill you," Gina said adamantly, "He turned into a monster. He lost control. Who knows, maybe that's what happened to your mother as well."

"Not like I can ask her, she's dead," he snapped, "Why would he lose control then, huh? It's not like he was angry or anything."

"He was feeling very woozy, beforehand. I bet it was a spell someone put on him," Gina said, "Brent would never try to do something like that."

"You've known him for about a week, Gina," he shook his head, "Don't go making assumptions about his personality when you barely know him."

"You know he's innocent, Lucas. Just think about it. We may have known him for only a little bit, but that hasn't stopped you from developing feelings," she said firmly.

Lucas turned bright red, "W-what are you... listen, I don't wanna talk about this anymore."

"I know you don't. That's how I know I'm right," she said, standing up and looking at him fiercely, "I've never seen you outwardly question your sexuality before. I've never seen you reveal anything about your mother to anyone before. I've never seen you act so childish and dismissive until Brent Lucas came into our lives. There's a small portion of you that believes Brent is innocent, but you won't let yourself believe because you're scared of getting hurt."

"And is that not justifiable?" he shot up as well, "He nearly killed me! I could be dead right now, would you still be preaching the same thing?"

"Yes, because I know you Lucas," Gina said, her voice sounding desperate, "And I know that in the short moments we've spent with Brent you've fallen in love with him. It's not hard to tell, even Brent's dad has figured it out."

Lucas opened his mouth to say something, but couldn't find any words so Gina just continued.

"You can sit here and sulk and be childish," she suggested, "Or you can go back to the Northern Kingdom and save a man who has been falsely accused of treason and could spend the rest of his life in prison because no one gave him a chance."

"Look, I can't help the fact that he lashed out and attacked the castle," Lucas shook his head, "I don't think I can get him out of this if I tried."

"But you have to try," she begged, "Don't you think it's a little fishy? He was acting like he was drugged, maybe someone slipped something into his food."

"He watched over the food himself. The only thing on that platter that Brent didn't watch being prepared was the wine that we brought over ourselves," He rolled his eyes, "You don't think my father is trying to poison him do you?"

"You didn't bring the wine," Gina scrunched up her nose, "I don't remember you holding that."

"I didn't, father was too worried we would break it on our adventure," he shrugged, "Jenine brought it for us."

Gina's eyes widened, "You mean to tell me that the evil Jenine who threatened to make Brent's life a living hell unless she had an affair with him behind your back brought a drink for everyone right before Brent got mysteriously ill and lost control?" her voice grew with every word.

"I'm sorry, what did you say about an affair?" Lucas furrowed his brows.

"Of course! She put a reveal spell on his glass!" Gina said, "Back in that hotel, Jenine threatened Brent that if he didn't have an affair with her, she would tell you the truth about his mother and make sure he spent the rest of his life in prison. He refused because he didn't wanna betray you and then this happened!"

Lucas looked at Gina, unsure of what to say. Brent really was innocent? He never intended to hurt Lucas?

"So... what we do? We don't have enough evidence to break him out, Gina," Lucas sighed, "I-I think I believe you now but-"

Lucas was interrupted by the door slamming open. Diana, wearing nothing but a t-shirt and her underwear burst in, glasses slanted.

"Gina! Lucas! Code Green: A beanstalk was sprouted from the Northern Kingdom!" She shrieked, "It's them! They're climbing down as we speak!"

"What? Where did that come from?" Gina paled.

"I'll explain on the way!" she shook her head, "Get dressed and bring any weapons you have!"

Alpha Daniel was having a pretty good day. He had finished a lot of paperwork and even gone outside for the first time in a couple of decades. It was only for two minutes, but he was trying.

Meeting his son really struck a chord with him and he realized he should be a bit more honest with the rest of the world. Maybe enough time has past. Maybe it was time to show the world that he was still alive and well.

He was feeling confident about himself until Zaizen, his second in command, barged through the door. His eyes looked wild and he was out of breath.

"Merlin's beard, you look exhausted. What happened?" The alpha raised an eyebrow.

"I'm glad you're sitting alpha, I have bad news," he said gruffly, "We might be at war with the Northern Kingdom. With the whole Charming family."

Daniel winced, "This sounds like a familiar phrase. What is it?"

"Your son. Bradley apparently turned into a massive wolf and tried to kill Lucas Charming," he explained, "They're saying it's treason. That he was trying to finish the work of his mother."

Daniel shot up from his seat, "That doesn't sound right. My son would never do such a thing."

"I thought the same," Zaizen nodded, "Should I prepare a few horses and men and wage war on the castle or do we stay out of this one?"

Daniel felt over the stubble on his chin and thought it over. His son was in prison, his son was being tried for treason. They might even execute him.

They could kill his son the same way they killed his wife.

"No," Daniel shook his head, "We don't need horses, we are werewolves. Tell the pack to prepare to shift into wolf forms in half an hour. We'll storm the castle the way werewolves should."

"'We'?" Zaizen's eyes widened, "You... you're coming with us, sir?

Daniel clenched his fists, "I stood by and let my own wife be taken and wrongfully executed. If I can help it, I'm not gonna let my own son meet the same fate. The Furray Pack is going out of hiding."
