Chapter 97.

I had my eyes closed as I used Aura Sense to look over the small area I had prepared for the injured, I smiled as I watched my Pokemon take care of the injured and keep everyone safe.

Sure the civilians of Italica, we're mighty confused and even afraid, but my Pokemon handled that with expertise and helped everyone calm down.

So I opened eyes and smiled at Serafall, but my girlfriend was a little too distracted right now, Rory was moaning and squirming close by and even I have to admit, that it was pretty distracting.

Rory looked like she was in the middle of climaxing right now, she shook her head and began to speak in a very sensuous voice "no! no! no... at this rate, I-I... I'm going to go crazy!".

Recon Three Team looked confused, while poor Tuka was blushing and covering her face in embarrassment, I also stared and couldn't help but to comment "holy shit... she could voice a good hentai with that voice...".

Serafall nodded "yeah... it's very sexy".

Yōji walked up to Lelei and decided to aks her "what's going on?".

Lelei seemed to know what's going on, so she decided to explain "the souls of the soldiers who fell on the battlefield are being sent to Emroy through her body.

It affects her like an aphrodisiac might".

I raised an eyebrow and decided to check it out, so I activated my Akashic Dragon Eyes to take a look *hmm... I see, so souls are really passing through Rory's body, how curious... it's like Emroy is using her physical body as a foci, her body is being saturated by Divine energy, which is why she's like that right now*.

Kuribayashi walked up to Yōji and spoke to him "this looks bad".

Yōji nodded, he then turned to look at Lelei and decided to ask her for her opinion "Lelei, can we help her?".

Lelei silently watched Rory squirm on the ground for a few seconds, but then she spoke "I believe all she has to do is fight".

Yōji turned to look towards where the battle was taking place and frowned, she then turned his head towards Pops to ask "any word from the East gate?".

Pops shook his head "none so far".

Yōji sighed and then stared towards the east gate "we need to guide the reinforcements, too...".

Meanwhile, in the east gate.

The battle has started to take it's toll on the civilians fighting the Bandits, panic and fear began to overwhelmed them and they began to question where are the reinforcements, where is the men in green.

Many we're already planning to retreat, to escape and run away, but before any of them could even attempt to do so, they were taken down by the Bandits, though their bodies disappeared and no one noticed.

Suddenly a tall and very muscular Bandit, walked forward while spinning a Morningstar above his head, Piña stared in disbelieve as this Bandit suddenly roared so loud, shockwaves hit everyone around him.

Many were worried the Bulwark would fall, that would mean the Bandits will be able to go into the city and pillage, that would mean their end, some were even trying to convince Piña to order everyone to evacuate.

But Piña was in a state of shock and was not even paying attention to anyone, instead she quietly muttered to herself "if only my Knights were here...".

Thing were definitely bad and the princess had no idea, on what to do, all she could do right now was stared at the battle in utter disbelieve.

Yōji turned his head towards Kuribayashi and nodded at her, Kuribayashi immediately understood what he was going ask her, so she responded right away "yes sir!".

Yōji nodded at Kuribayashi and then told her what he wanted her to do "sorry, but could you stay with Rory?".

He then turned towards Pops "Pops, take care of the rest".

Pops nodded right away "Roger!".

Kuribayashi walked up towards Rory and spoke to her "Rory, we're going, so just hang in there a little longer".

Rory suddenly grabbed Kuribayashi's shoulder and slowly got up, she then jumped down the gate's walls and took off running at high speed, Kuribayashi gaped at the suddenness of it all.

Pops looked at her go in surprise "wow, she's fast".

I smiled and nodded to Serafall, she smiled and took off flying at high-speed to catch up to Rory, I turned my head towards Yōji "were going on ahead, catch up as soon as you can!".

Yōji nodded at me and I then took off flying after Serafall and Rory, Yoji immediately turned his head towards Pops "we're going after them! Hurry!".

Yōji, Kuribayashi, Kurata and Kuwabara, quickly ran down the stairs and got into a LAV, they immediately took off after their friends, Yōji grabbed the radio and immediately sent a communication "401st, this is Recon 3.

The enemy has been engaged at the east gate, repeat, the enemy is at the east gate, we will be marking the target with a flare, over!".

Yōji looked out the window on his side and saw Rory running on the rooftops with Rean and Serafall flying at her side.

Meanwhile, 401st were already on route and had heard Yōji's radio communication, as the Helicopters were soaring through the air, one of the pilots began to inform everyone else there location "we'll reach the mission zone in five minutes".

Everyone responded with a "got it!".

Suddenly a Lieutenant leaned forward to inform the Captain of the new information they just received from Yōji "reports indicate that fighting had already begun inside the east gate".

The 401st Captain nodded and then issued orders to the pilots "head for ten o'clock! all units move into attack positions!".

The Pilots immediately responded with a loud "Roger!".

The Captain nodded and smiled "we'll sweep in with the rising sun at our backs! the Lieutenant Colonel can handle the rest! start the music!".

Suddenly, someone began to play 'Ride of the Valkyries' over the speaker system of the Helicopters, the music immediately began to resound through the sky.

The 401st company began to get excited as the music flowed throughout the area, the soldiers began to get ready for battle, some even began to sit on their helmets.

Which confused some of the newer recruits, one of them decided to ask "why do you guys sit on your helmets!?".

One of the more experienced soldier answered the recruit's question, so we don't get our balls blown off!".

Thus the 401st company rode in the sky and they headed into battle, while being inspired by the Ride of the Valkyries.

Back with Yōji and the others.

Yōji suddenly spoke as they were still riding the LAV, while following Rory, Rean and Serafall "Kuribayashi".

Kuribayashi turned her head towards Yōji "yes?".

Now that he had Kuribayashi's attention, Yōji then said "take your night vision googles off".

Kuribayashi looks confused "why?".

Kuwabara was the one who answered her question "you always break them".

Kuribayashi gave Kuwabara a look of betrayal "I do not!".

Yōji chuckled and then said "it's dawn and we don't need them anymore, if you don't want to get yelled, just take them off".

Kuribayashi pouted but Yōji took out a flared gun and leaned ou of his window, he the fired the flare into the sky, so the 401st company could know they were there.

Meanwhile, in the east gate.

The Bandit Commander was yelling at his fellow Bandits orders "kill them all!".

Rory, Serafall and I close to arriving, though I noticed the flare in the sky, I smiled knowing what it meant, soon enough the three of us arrived in time to see a big muscular Bandits flailing around a Morningstar.

Suddenly a Bandit grinned maliciously and yelled "follow his lead!".

The Bandits roared and cheered, they began to run forward, Rory suddenly jumped off the rooftops, while laughing excitedly.

She landed, right in front of the Bandits and stopped their charge, Serafall and I landed right besides her, we each summoned our weapons, me Excalibur and Serafall her staff.

Everyone stared at Rory in disbelieve, her reputation was well know, and her presence here didn't bore good news for the Bandits.

Rory slowly stood up and giggled, the Bandit who had been whipping around a Morningstar, suddenly tried to attacked her from behind, but Rory quickly moved out of the way and hit the Bandit right in the head with the back of her Battle Axe.

The Iron Mask he was wearing shattered on impact, Rory giggled and sent the Bandits flying back, where he crashed on the ground and rolled on it for a little bit.

Rory just looked at the Bandit in disappointment, she took him out in one single move and he didn't get up again, Rory sighed "fighting Pokemon is more fun than these guys".

I chuckled and shook my head "of course it is, these guys are nothing compared to them".

Suddenly a weird sound was heard coming from the sky, Rory looked up in curiosity, while I kept an eye on the enemy, it was here that the 401st company arrived on the scene.

They immediately began to fire missiles and shoot all their weapons, at the massive army of Bandits outside the gates of Italica, screams of pain and horror began to echo throughout the area, especially when a missile hit the east gate and unleash a massive explosion.

Rory just stared in curiosity as the blast of the explosion ruffle her outfit.

Outside the east gate of Italica.

The 401st were coming hard on the massive army of Bandits, the Captain suddenly call out "all Units, this is Oscar 1! we got friendlies inside the gate, restrict your fire to the outside!".

The Helicopters rain downed lead, as they fired their machine guns at the Bandits, the soldiers of the 401st Company riding the Helicopters began to also snipe Bandits as the tried to run away or take cover.

Suddenly, one of the Helicopters noticed some Bandits on the wall, trying to load a Catapult "Anti Air weapon on the wall, they're still loading!".

The Captain received the news and immediately issued orders "Hunter 1, you are clear to engage the target!".

One of the Helicopters positioned itself in front of the Catapult as it was being loaded, Hunter 1 the reponded to the Captain "Roger!" then they immediately fired a missile and destroyed the Catapult, along with killing the Bandits loading them.

The Captain nodded and then yelled "good job! when we get back, I'll buy you a beer".

Back on the north gate, Lelei, Tuka and Liligant were all looking at the chaos going on over at the east gate, Tuka awed at the sight "look at all those explosions, is that magic too?".

Lelei shook her head and began to walk away "impossible".

Kurokawa noticed, that Lelei was heading towards the stairs "ah, wait, where are you going?".

Lelei turned her head towards Kurokawa "to get a closer look!" Kurokawa just gaped as she saw Lelei leave.

Liligant giggled and then walked up to Kurokawa and patter her leg, Kurokawa sighed but then smiled at Liligant and gently caress her face, which made Liligant look very happy.

Back on the outside of the east gate.

The 401st company continues, to take as many Bandits down, the Bandits in a panic began to try and run away, but as soon as they tried they were blown away by missiles or shot down.

A Bandit growled and fired an arrow at one of the Helicopters, but the arrow bounced off its metal body, it then shot a hail of bullets at the Bandit who fired the arrow and the ones around him.

The Bandits only had a few seconds to scream in both pain and horror, before being torn apart by the high caliber ammunition of the Helicopters.

Rory looked at all of this in curiosity, she then looked around and watched as that Bandits that had made it to the other side of the gate, trembled in fear, meanwhile the Bandit Commander then stared at her in confusion "what's the Priestess of Emroy doing here?.

I looked back as soon as I sensed, Yōji and the others arrived, I then heard Kuribayashi roar and take off running towards the east gate, Kuwabara looked at her in surprise "that idiot!".

Yōji sighed "well Rean and Serafall are there, I'm sure they'll keep her safe, let's just provide support!" they began to shoot at the Bandits while they stared in shock at what was happening.

Rory decided that she had enough of staring in curiosity and began to attack the Bandits, she twirled around on her toes while holding her Battle Axe in front of her.

The Axe cut down multiple Bandits, as she spun like a top, she giggled and she then began to spin her Battle Axe with ease as she slashed at the Bandits and even set their bodies flying all over the place.

Serafall whistled "wow! she's very good with that Axe!" Serafall suddenly stomped on the ground and Icicles rose from the ground behind her and impaled some Bandits, that likely thought she was distracted and tried to sneak up on her.

They died almost instantly, I nodded at Serafall as I side stepped some Bandits that tried to attack me, in a blink of an eye, a swung Excalibur at them an cut them into small pieces, the chunks of flesh fell to the ground around me with a wet splat.

The Bandits gasped in fear and shock, while I spoke Serafall "well, Rory must have a lot of experience in battle, my Pokemon tell me that she's very good when she fights them".

Rory giggled and threw her Battle Axe into the air and then caught it behind her, I chuckled and shook my head "now, she's just showing off".

Serafall giggled, while the Bandits suddenly gathered together and put up full body shields in front of themselves, one of the Bandits suddenly yelled "Tortoise Formation!".

I raiser an eyebrow at the tactic, that the Bandits chose to take against someone like Rory "that's not going to help".

I was proven right, when Rory giggled and in a blur of movement, she appeared in front of the Shields and swung her Battle Axe with all her strength.

The Axe crashed against the shield with a loud crashing sound, the shields didn't stand a chance against Rory's attack and were destroyed while the Bandits were sent flying like Pins in a bowling alley.

The Bandit tried to surround her, but Serafall and I, moved in to cover her back, Serafall blurred in front of two Bandits and then pointed her staff, in their direction.

Two water orbs coalesced in a matter of seconds and shot forward at high speed, the water orbs went through the Bandit's chests and came out their back.

Blood splattered everywhere, while the Bandit's bodies were sent flying and spinning through the air from the force, they were hit with.

Three Bandits tried to stab Rory with their Spears, but I intercepted their attacks, in a flash of speed, I appeared in front of them and both, blocked and parried their attacks with Avalon.

The sheath destroyed the weapons with ease, leaving the Bandits confused and open to a counterattack, I moved so fast the Bandits didn't react until I reappeared behind them and sheathed Excalibur back into Avalon.

As soon as Excalibur clicked into place inside her sheath, the three Bandits exploded in blood and dropped dead, Rory saw this and grinned at us.

With the Bandits at her sides dead, she focused on the ones in front of her, she jumped up to avoid the jabs from their Spears and the landed on top of them.

She then quickly swung her Battle Axe in front of her and sliced in half the four Bandits that just tried to stab her, a another big and muscular Bandit rushed at her from behind.

But Rory and us, weren't worried, Kuribayashi appeared out of nowhere 'we had sensed her coming, but the Bandits didn't' and rushed at the Bandit attempting to hit Rory from behind.

She quickly jabbed her bayonet into the Bandit's ribs and pushed him away from Rory, the Bandit roared in both pain and anger, he quickly tried to reach for Kuribayashi's head.

But she then fired her rifle and shot the Bandit point blank, on his abdomen, not only killing him in seconds but also sending his body back and onto the floor.

Rory blinked and stared a Kuribayashi, surprised that she had protected her, some Bandits roared in rage and rushed towards Kuribayashi, they tried to stab her with Spears.

But Kuribayashi was to fast for them, she quickly got out of the way and dodge them, while quickly firing back with her weapon as the Bandits passed by her.

One Bandit tried to swing at her with him sword, but she parried it with her weapon, forcing the Bandit's arm up, she the quickly spinned kicked him away from her.

She then quickly duck down to avoid a sword slash to the neck from another Bandit, that tried to get her by surprise, she quickly pushed herself up and shot back at the Bandit, that just tried to cut off her head.

The Bandit screamed in pain and dropped dead a few seconds later, but Kuribayashi didn't stop there, she quickly rushed to the left and swung her Bayonet at another Bandit's neck.

Lucky for him, he was able to raise his shield in time to block her attack, which resulted in her bayonet breaking and being sent flying back, I quickly caught the broken Bayonet between my fingers and grin "Goddamm... what a badass girl".

Serafall nodded "she's amazing!".

The Bandit tried to swing at Kuribayashi with his sword, but she blocked it with her weapon, she quickly took out her pistol and fired at the Bandit, through his shield.

The shield held strong for about two seconds before the bullets went through and hit him in the face, the Bandit dropped dead, a few moments later.

This was when Kuribayashi, noticed her Bayonet was broken, her eyes widen in surprise "oops!".

I chuckled at her reaction, I then decided to fix it for her, so I quickly used Ferrokinesis and turned, the Bayonet I caught in the air, into liquid metal, I then mentally sent it back towards Kuribayashi.

The liquid metal flew through the air and landed back where Kuribayashi's Bayonetta was before it broke, it quickly melted in place and reformed back into the weapon.

Kuribayashi blinked in surprise but then brightly smiled, she turned her head towards me and gave me a quick nod, I smiled at her and nodded.

The Bandit Commander suddenly yelled at his allies '"fall back and regroup!".

But Kuribayashi just grinned in amusement and began to throw grenades at the Bandits, as they tried to regroup "grenade out!".

The Bandits were blown up by the hand held explosives, Kuribayashi quickly took out pistol again and began shooting at the ones who weren't reached by the explosions.

A Bandit came rushing towards her from her side, but Rory dropped from the air and crushed him, with the flat side of her Battle Axe, Kuribayashi noticed.

But then she saw another Bandit rushing behind Rory, so she quickly took aim and shot him in the head, Rory moved forward and cut in half a Bandit that was rushing at Kuribayashi from behind.

Both Rory and Kuribayashi stared at each other, one serious and collected, while the other grinning like she was having the time of her life, both then stood back to back and smiled at each other.

Yōji and Kuwabara got closer and began to provided cover fire for the girls, Kuwabara frowned "this is bad, they've lost track of their surroundings! ehat do we do?".

Yōji sighed "don't let anyone get behind them, no matter what! though Rean and Serafall are out there too! so keep an eye just in case".

He didn't think they would need cover, but he would always keep an eye on a friend and ally, no matter if they're capable or not "defend their back!".

Serafall and I watched as both girls began to slaughter the Bandits while Yoji and Kuwabara, covered their backs, Serafall smiled "such teamwork, and natural too, it's like they have been training together for years".

I nodded, these four were working together as if the knew what each of them were thinking, I was surprised by Rory's ability to work together with someone, as far as I knew, she usually works alone, but I guess that she must have had some experience working together with someone.

I grinned as I decided to show off a bit "Serafall? how about we do a combo?".

Serafall smiled and began to spin her staff "let's do it!" she began to gather her Mana, water began to surge up from the floor beneath her while I got in front of her.

I grabbed the hilt of Excalibur and drew her out of Avalon, I began to gather my Stardust Energy within her blade.

This alerted everyone around us, they all stopped fighting to stare at both me and Serafall gathering our powers, Rory suddenly smiled when she noticed our energies "something big is coming... something amazing".

Yōji, Kuwabara and Kuribayashi stared in awe as both me and Serafall were surrounded by energy and water.

I smiled and then rushed forward, all everyone could see was a flash of purple light rushing forward, I suddenly jumped up and just as quickly landed on the ground, right in between a big group of Bandits.

I stabbed Excalibur into the ground and yell, Stardust Energy exploded from the ground and sent the Bandits flying up abome me, Serafall quickly pointed her staff above me and a massive orb of spinning water coalesced in seconds above me.

I snapped my fingers as I stood up, my Stardust Energy quickly drew into the massive orb of water while also dragging the Bandits in the air, into the Orb of water.

I raise an open palm towards it and made my Stardust Energy combined with the water orb, while Serafall swung her staff at it causing the spinning water inside the orb to pick up even more speed.

At the same time we both yelled the name of our combo attack "Crimson! Deluge Tempest!".

The water suddenly turned Crimson Red from the blood now coloring the water, as both the Water and Stardust Energy, crushed everything inside it, the now massive orb of red Crimson water suddenly exploded, causing a deluge of red to fall around me and I stood up.

Rory's eyes shined in awe at the attack both Serafall and I did, I saw her grin like a maniac in excitement, at seeing such a brutal combo attack being used.

Kuribayashi gaped but recovered quickly and then smiled, Yōji whistle and then shook his head "damn, that looked like an end game attack, super bad ass".

Kuwabara sweatdropped at Yōji's comment, but nodded soon after, after all, he himself was very impressed by such an attack.

Serafall twirled around while spinning her staff and then struck a pose, meanwhile a flared my Stardust Energy around my body, this evaporated all the red blood water on my body and clothes, while also sheathing Excalibur back into Avalon.

I grinned at the Bandits who stepped back away from in fear "not so nice huh? you were having fun fighting civilians a moment ago, but now that your fighting experienced fighters your not having any more fun right?".

The Bandits looked terrified but didn't say anything, I turned to face them "you guys wanted to die in battle right? then let me grant you your wish".

The Bandits were now very close to turning around and running away, but Rory jumped towards them and landed within their ranks, she began to cut down Bandit after Bandit.

Meanwhile Kuribayashi began to shoot Bandits with her pistol, while Kurokawa and Yōji shot any Bandit that tried to either rushed at her sides or run away.

The Bandit Commander growled in anger at his army being destroyed right before him, however before he could do or say anything, a Helicopter shot a missile at the wall behind him and sent him flying forward from the explosion.

He flew through the air and actually landed on top of Rory's Battle Axe.

That Axe had a thick Spear head and the Bandit Commander was impaled on it, Rory looked up in surprise and blinked as she saw a Bandit Commander impaled on her Axe.

The Bandit Commander stared down at Rory "I refuse to accept this... this can't be called war! don't you agree, Priestess of Emroy!?.

Answer me, priestess of Emroy!" Rory suddenly swung her Batle Axe down hard and slammed the Bandit Commander into the ground.

She then aggressively pulled her Axe out of the Bandit Commander's body, cutting him open and splattering blood all over the floor.

I walked over to Rory, while the Bandits lost morale seeing their leader die and began cower, I walked up to Rory's side "of course it wasn't a war, a war would mean, they would have a chance to begin with, in the end he couldn't accept the fact, that he lost so easily.

So he then whined and threw a temper tantrum, all of this, this attack on Italica, is nothing but a bunch of losers who couldn't accept their fate, they forgot they were the ones who attacked first.

All of this has been, the JSDF just retaliating, they should be glad that they didn't come here conquer, otherwise... everyone would have been dead".

Rory nodded at my words, while the rest of the people of Italica and the princess stared at me, I had said all of that, loud enough for everyone to hear me.

I wanted everyone here to know, that the JSDF was here because the Empire attacked first, that they provoked all the attacks and deaths so far, but most of all.

I wanted everyone to know, that JSDF wasn't here to kill and to conquer, that they should understand that they weren't the enemies here.

Suddenly, one of the Bandits growled and yelled at the remain Bandits "don't panic! regroup!".

The Bandits snapped out the fear induced paralysis and began to form files, it seems that they were planning on marching forward towards us, and attack us with everything they had left.

A sort of last stand, however Yōji received a radio communication, which Serafall and were able to hear "Recon 3, this is Hunter 1! on the count of ten, we're going to wipe out the targets inside the gate.

Evacuate immediately! repeat, we will now wipe out the enemies inside the gate, evacuate immediately!".

Yōji's eyes widen in surprise, but before him or Kuwabara could do anything, I yelled at them "Yōji! go! we got Kuribayashi and Rory!".

Yōji nodded, and both him and Kuwabara, immediately ran out of the fire zone while yelling at the civilians to get to cover.

Despite not fully understanding what they were saying, the citizens of Italica saw the panic in the faces, and thus ran away from the area.

Meanwhile both Serafall and I moved fast, I picked up Rory in my arms and took off flying into the sky and away from the area, while Serafall grabbed Kuribayashi and carried her like a princess, while also flying into the sky.

Both Rory and Kuribayashi gasped and looked very surprised, at our sudden movement, meanwhile, we were paying attention to the countdown while also paying attention to where Yōji and Kuwabara were.

Ten seconds later, one of the Helicopters maneuvered around the gate and opened fire at the Bandits, in a matter of seconds, the front of the east gate of Italica had been cleared of enemies.

Princess Piña, stared in shock and fear as the Helicopters killed a big number of Bandits in a matter of seconds, Piña couldn't help but to mutter "a monster...".

Both her and Hamilton stared in stunned silence, as the Helicopter began to slowly cruise through the air, Piña stopped gaping and tried to make sense of the things she was staring at "an Iron Pegasus?... what is that? absolute violence that no human can withstand... the power to crush everything... a power that denies pride, honor and everything else".

Lelei, Tuka and Kurokawa arrived only in time to see that everything was over, Lelei looked up "it's over...".

Tuka stared awed as she watched the end result, of the JSDF coming hard on an enemy "the brigands were wiped out?".

Piña however, didn't pay any attention to anyone or anything except the Helicopters before her "is this the Goddess mocking us? the Dragon creator turning its back on us?

How frail, worthless and insignificant we humans are...".

Ropes began to drop from the Helicopters, as more JSDF soldiers began to drop from the Helicopters with the help of the ropes, one of them, a high ranking officer immediately began to issue orders "keep a close eye on our perimeter!.

Get all those who surrender in one place! rescue the survivors!".

Kurokawa immediately ran towards the injured along some more medics and began to help the injured, suddenly there were flashes of blue and Chansey, Audino and Gardevoir appeared, they began to also heal the injured as soon as they arrived.

In a few moments, the JSDF began to move those that surrounded and clean up after the attack, Yoji sighed and then nodded to himself "its over, huh?".

A few of the civilians began to approach Yōji and Kuwabara, both turned their heads toward them, the civilians nodded at them and said "you saved our town, what army are you with?".

Kuwabara smiled and then answered the civilian's question "we are the JSDF".

Princess Piña, stared towards the soldiers as they moved around "all those brigands... and almost every single one is dead, just what is this JSDF?".

Piña turned her head towards a Helicopters flying close by, she suddenly shivered and out reflex she hugged herself, she felt so small and weak in the face of such force and she didn't like the feeling very much.

I watched the Helicopters began to leave and head back to base, they do have a limited amount of fuel so they couldn't stay for too long, but they already did their job.

I stayed in the sky with Rory in my arms as she herself looked on as the Helicopters left, I then began to make her fly with Psychic, I made her stand right besides me and we both looked on as the Helicopters began to become smaller and smaller on the Horizon.

Rory turned her head towards me and smiled "what was that Purple energy, Rean?".

I turned my head towards Rory and was about to tease her about it, but then I noticed the serious look in her eyes, so I then decided to be honest with her "its a special type of energy unique to me, it called Stardust".
