In 2099 the technology supports full dive technology. While it is being used for communication, movies and other purposes nintendo has other things planned. They have managed to develop pokemon into a full dive game. . . Shay and his twin sister Mia have always been a bit too competitive. When the Pokemon Fire-red Leaf-green Revamped was released they took their rivalry into the game. Each would get 2 months to prepare for their battle in the multiplayer stadium. The one who wins gets to order the other one around for 2 weeks! The stakes are very very high.
