My hands took hold of the flute, a mysterious aura surrounded it. There, the idea came in as I called everyone to gather around me. I showed them the flute, they were enlightened by the mysterious glow surrounding it. The flute was heavy neither was it made of wood or metals. No one knows how this came to be, no one knows what materials were used to forge this great flute.
"It's the flute." said, Dawn, her eyes reflected the strange glow on the flute.
"It's all thanks to Absol's determination," I replied with a chuckle, rubbing her back and sending her back to her Pokeball so that she could rest.
I couldn't be more pleased than this. For once, I've contributed in this cave operation and the champion looked delighted I wasn't planning to cause any trouble when in fact I am but not yet. Then came the question, "Who will be in charge of carrying the flute? Who among all of you would be willing to do so?" Cynthia wondered.
"I'll be in charge." Lucas volunteered.
"No, me!" Copper pushed Lucas's shoulder and growled at him viciously. It was always the boys who come in contact with fights and conflicts all the time, very immature. I raised my hand and hopefully, my idea would be approved by the champion.
"Let me be the one in charge." I volunteered confidently.
"Wait, we can't just trust a Team Rocket grunt!" Dawn countered.
"What's with your stereotype demeanor for Team Rocket?!" Zeal grumbled at Dawn.
"Well, here we go again." Zinnia shrugged her shoulders and went behind me.
"Hey, there's no need to argue. I think Luna should hold it. After all, it was her Pokemon that found it sound she has the right to hold it." Logan quenched the second war that was about to wreck both our sides before it even began.
"I agree. It's not like Luna's going to betray us, won't you?" Cynthia gazed at my eyes and they were locked. I couldn't be more frightened than what I'm currently feeling. It was as though as time froze as I thought of a way to answer her question. It was as if she knew what I was planning.
"Of course, why would I betray all of you? I'm responsible for any damage inflicted to this. I won't do any foul play, you can trust me." I answered. Timidity backed me up but both Team Rocket and the group of trainers were staring at me with suspicion.
"Oh come, even Team Rocket?! What can I do with Arceus? Don't give me that look." I pouted at all of them.
"Just make sure." Dawn squinted her eyes again and faced with me that suspicious and never-ending smirk of hers. There, we continued our amble and made our way to the very top of the mountain. It was surprising that we were unable to hear any noise coming from the top which makes us wonder why Team Galactic isn't there yet.
"You know, I know what you're up to Luna. Selling god to earn money? Such a classic." Zinnia teased me, tapping my shoulders while laughing.
"Okay, how did you know about that, and I don't mind. Somewhere in a parallel universe is a trainer who enslaved god or your so-called god, so selling Arceus is not that harsh." I uttered sarcastically.
"Says the woman who does not believe in parallel universes." Charlotte came to my right and chuckled.
"W-wait, you knew too?"
"It's obvious, Luna. Don't worry, the secret's safe with us." then came the twins who in fact knew about it as well.
I was shocked and sought to keep my mouth closed shut instead. Finally, a little more minutes of walking led us to the very top of the mountain in which we were baffled not to see a single grunt nearby. The Spear Pillar was completely shrouded in the deepest silence, and not even our footsteps broke it.
"Great, Team Galactic is late with their conference with the gods." Lucas teased, making Dawn laugh.
"Impossible. I just saw them, the- they were in a helicopter, a group of them went here. There must be something I'm missing. Why would they be gone all of a sudden?!" Cynthia was baffled too and even she couldn't think of an answer.
"Guys, it's all over the news, Team Galactic's headquarters have been found in Veilstone City thanks to the detective and his assistant who were able to track them down. Look at the live premiere, the skyscraper who produces a lot of products, including the toothbrush I use is in fact their headquarters and is now being surrounded by a ton of armored vehicles and police.
It can also be seen that Team Galactic is fighting with the officers which means they never came here." Zinnia reported, showing us her Rotom-Phone and the details of the current news.
"What the?! This is impossible. I need three to come with me to Veilstone City asap. That must've been a holographic illusion by Cyrus. I'm choosing you, you, and you! Now hurry." out of nowhere, the champion began to select and I was part of it alongside Dawn and Zinnia.
"W-wait what?!" the twins were confused about what was happening.
"The rest will stay. I have a feeling Team Galactic's plotting something. As for the three of you, come with me. Go, Garchomp!" Cynthia took the lead and flew off to the skies with her Garchomp. Well, I didn't know what on Earth was going on and some and Zinnia decided to follow her instead but I made sure that the flute was with me in case it was the champion who was playing us.
Team Galactic gone? Where could they be? That sounds very unusual for an organization to be late, especially if they are very earnest towards their goal. Team Galactic, what could they be up to this, and what is their ultimate scheme? All of these questions, one answer only to prove how smart our enemies were.
