Celadon Gym

Finally after getting briefed by Professor Log on team shadow, he found two major things about them.

Team shadow is bad.

Team shadow is doing bad things.

Professor Log doesn't know how they are bad and what bad things they are doing.

And about the disappearing trainers, it was just a guess.

Professor Log expects Vidal to find information about this team shadow.

After giving a serious thought, Vidal finally made his decision.

"Professor Log I will definitely help you to get information on this team shadow. But I also have a small request."

Professor Log can only nod; he didn't want to guess what type of thing is small for Vidal.

"I need some custom made Pokeball."

Professor Log took a sigh of relief.

"So what do you want to customize?"

"I want Pokeballs not connected to Pokemon transportation System. So that I can carry more than six Pokemon in my team," this way Vidal doesn't have to leave Pokemon behind.

"This can definitely be done. So how many Pokeballs do you want," Professor Log asked back.

"Highest you can afford to give me," sometimes giving a number can be disadvantageous.

The relief of Professor Log disappeared.

"It will take us some days to prepare. So…"

"I am not in a hurry." Good things are worth waiting for.

Vidal left the building and headed towards what seems to be like a gym.

Fighting Dojo,

Entering the dojo, Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee were practicing different kicks and punch.

"Is karate master available?" Vidal asked the trainer monitoring the fighting Pokemons.

"Yes, Master Koichi is inside. Are you also a challenger?"

"No. But I need a small help from master."

The trainer in charge went inside and came back with master Koichi.

"So, how can I help you?" Koichi asked.

Vidal told him about he was looking good Pokemon for Professor Oak research, "If the Pokemons who are mostly hard to control or always fighting can be very good."

"There is one Hitmonlee which is very hard to control, but for hitmonchan, all are well mannered." Koichi said after thinking for a moment.

"That's Ok." Vidal collected two Pokemon and thanked the master Koichi for his help and left the dojo.

Vidal wanted to send this two Pokemon as soon as possible, so he walked towards the Pokecenter.

Near the Pokecenter a familiar sound caught his attention.

"You want a burger and fries without trouble...

If you are really hungry make it double..."

"You guys are selling food here. Looks like you aren't getting paid. How sad?" Vidal walked in front of the food stall.

"You don't have to be sad," they don't have anything to give to their fan to make him happy.

"Maybe I can help you guys."

Jessie, James, Meowth were shocked.

"Help us."

"Yeah. Recently I got some news that a new team called Shadow is trying to conquer Kanto region. This might be bad for Team Rocket." Vidal said with sadness.

"Maybe your boss will appreciate such important news and give you some raise in job."

"Indeed, this is very crucial news for Team Rocket." James mumbled.

"Well then I am leaving."

Now, it will be easier to track the team shadow or get at least some information.

After sending the Pokemons to Professor Oak, he hit the road to make a quick trip to Celadon city.

Vidal didn't find any new Pokemon to catch so the travel was smooth.

Celadon city,

The gym leader Erika was grass type Pokemon specialist, and he decided to use Alakazam.

This time it was three Pokemon battle and the trainer with the Pokemon standing to the last will be the winner.

"Victreebell, let's go."

"Use razor leaf."

"Alakazam show them your speed."

Alakazam has come quite far when it comes to speed. Moves like Razor leaf were no threat to him.

"Victreebell, try to catch it. Use whip vine."

But Alakazam easily avoided the vine whips. It has become the target to practice water gun from Starmie and he can almost subconsciously avoid attacks coming towards it.

"Alakazam finish with psychic."

Victreebell was hit with the psychic making it confused and unable to continue to battle.

"You are very strong. And have we met before, your face look familiar."

"You must have met my brother. A kid with a Pikachu followed by a girl and a boy," Vidal admitted their faces are quite matching.

After that came Gloom followed by tangela, he tried to use Growlithe but was unable to continue after getting hit by stun spore from Gloom.

All the work was done by Alakazam.

Now maybe Growlithe will be interested in training, but he had to go slow.

After spending night at the Celadon hotel, he was on his way to Saffron city again.

But on the way he stopped on the Route 7 for Growlithe to train.

After defeating Rattata, odish and Abra, Growlithe gained some confidence to fight some other Pokemon as well.

But fighting Pokemon like Mankey and Bellsprout, it lost it confidence again.

But it was surprising to see it was ready to train with Starmie of all things.

His Pokemon are slowly infected by Starmie's nature as well. Nobody wants to lose, Pokemon are also the same.

Now the biggest issue was handling Gengar; he had no way to make it train.

But when Gengar saw Growlithe training with Starmie, it also started to show off.

Confuse Ray, Shadow punch, Shadow ball, Shadow claw and finally the Lick were bombarded to Alakazam one after another.

There was no need to teach any moves to Gengar, it's strength was also very powerful compared to Growlithe.

Maybe it has fought with other trainer while in the Pokemon tower was the only thing he can think of.

But it ended quite fast, Gengar started Licking Growlithe.

But he is now relieved that he can use Gengar in Pokemon battles without any problem.

Vidal returned to Saffron city and immediately head towards Silph Co. head office to meet Professor Log.

"Here. I personally made some improvements in it," Professor Log handed him a belt with tiny Pokeballs embedded all around it.

After getting reminded by Professor Log about team shadow once again, Vidal left the building.

There were 50 slots filled with Pokeballs. He can carry around fifty Pokemons without any problems.

Taking the bike, he headed towards the Vermilion city.

But on the way, when passing by Magnet train station, a huge shadow flew over him.

He looked up to find a big flying mecha, with a big S printed on it.

From the direction it took, it was roughly towards Lavender town.

Vidal guessed the team shadow has started to hunt the legendary Pokemon and their first target is probably Zapdos.

It is crucial information to be delivered to Professor Log, but finding Zapdos; it would take a long time for them.

So, he moved towards Vermilion city feeling the cool breeze and beautiful sceneries.
