Pokemon: A Quest

Lavender Town also known as the town of the departed. it is a small town northeast of kanto covered in beautiful purple hue from where one heads north will get to Route 10 and the Rock tunnel. West of the town is Route 8 while to the south is Route 12 and the Silence bridge, all and all pretty well connected to the region.

The town seems solemn and quiet. The citizens of Lavender Town claim the town to be known for its Ghost sightings in the Pokemon tower, Yes you heard it right ghost or more clearly known ghost Pokemon.

Lavendar town despite being a gloomy place with less population is fairly popular in the whole region due to the presence of ghost Pokemon in its ancient tower known as Pokemon Tower.

The origin of tower is not known it was present even before civilisation established in this part of region, due to its ever dull presence people start burying their departed family members aswell as their beloved Pokemon here to remember them. which after many generation became the town main gravesite.

Due to it housing so many dead it become a huge attraction for the Pokemon with dark and ghost nature who feel at home in this town and their energies further establishing it as huge beacon for other ghost Pokemon to wander here.

But the town is not hated or neglected due to this - No Sir - the Region and the Pokemon league holds this quiet town with high regard even with the population of 31 this town is thriving, and why will it not Lavendar town due to the Pokemon tower is the lone big spot for ghost Pokemon to gather and with them comes ghost type trainers.

Ghost type Pokemon are rare Pokemon with two immunities and are super effective against psychic type with only weakness against dark type Pokemon.Which makes them valuable.

And one could not forget this town is the birthplace of the strongest elite four member of this region after all.

Agatha is a ghost type specialist and the third trainer of the Kanto Elite Four and is the oldest such to date which is a feat on its own. As such, she serves as an inspiration for senior Pokemon trainers and ghost type specialist all around the region.

Somewhere in Lavender Town you can see a boy occupying a public bench opposite to the Pokemon tower in deep thoughts.

The boy was wearing a set of cheap clothes, but well fitted his dark hair gliding with the wind and his ever glowing purple eyes taking our attention rather than the glooming atmosphere present in the town where he lives.

This boy is Sirius West a native of Lavender Town also know as the town of ghost. He is currently considering his life choices from this point as he has just got out of the Pokemon tower after burying his grandfather body. he was in Pokemon school when he got a call that his grandfather has fainted while working and before he reached the hospital he passed away, his last family passed away just like that

Well last or you can say his only family as he was always an orphan, he don't know who are his biological parents he was found by grandpa Lucas in a garbage bin crying in a cold night in Lavender Town. This is not that odd as Lavender Town being recognised as a haunted place makes it a perfect place to dispose off unwanted things.

So seeing a new born child crying in the cold night with only thin piece of cloth wrapped around him melted Lucas heart, with that he took him in and raised him despite being poor himself.

For Sirius his grandfather was his everything and today he lost him too. Sirius has seen Lucas struggle for food and clothes as Lucas being a old man was not prefered in heavy jobs, and in this Pokemon oriented world people without Pokemon were like the fish in shallow water, always on the verge of death.

And Lucas belonging to that same group was not spared as well, No one wanted a half dead old man in his shop to work which left him to fend for any job disregarding his body condition which overworked him to death.

Sirius blames himself for his grandfather death. he wanted to help him in his work to atleast takes some burden off him but was shot down by Lucas.

~Flash back~

"but grandpa if you continue doing heavy things it will affect your health" complains Sirius seeing Lucas condition.

"you are growing kid, i dont want to cripple you in your later life by overworking you today besides, I am still strong and can still work you should focus on your studies i dont want you to suffer difficulties like me do i have repeat my story again" reprimanded Lucas.

"No; i know you were an orphan refugee of the regional war and due to being outsider were prohibited from joining kanto alliance resulting in our bad condition" speaks Sirius in a bored out tone.

"Yes due to that I was prohibited from keeping Pokemon license issued by league due to tha-"

"that you cannot keep Pokemon or its illegal" cuts Sirius in the middle.

"Yes; that's why I want you to study in the pokemon School and get a trainer license so that you can leave your life happily ~got it "

"Yes Sir"

~Flashback Ends~

"What irony the day I got my Pokemon license is the day the most important person in my life dies, Life is a bitch" Speaks Sirius eyeing a black card in his hands.

The card has his photo in the front with his name [ Sirius West ] below it followed by his hometown and other specification.

Pokemon license the most important thing an aspiring trainer must have without it you are not allowed to own and keep pokeballs forget Pokemon. to get a Pokemon license one needs to attends Pokemon School from primary age and thereafter when one completes the primary, secondary and high schooling and is of atleast age 14 is allowed to apply for a Pokemon license.

But the Run doesn't stop here what does a Pokemon license mean to a trainer.

' it's just a piece of identification the fight starts after that, one needs a Pokemon to really become a Pokemon trainer ' thinks Sirius.

" In this world if you remain weak your future will be always be in the hands of others one must get power in his hands first to dictate his life and to do that one needs a Pokemon without them you are nothing, a ten year old spoiled kid with his daddy money can erase you with just a rattata "

And to get a Pokemon the fastest way is join the Pokemon School who after graduation grants you a chance to get a Pokemon yes a chance not a Pokemon, they provide you with three Pokeballs and a ticket to visit the primary zone of the city in which the Pokemon school is situated, from there you can catch the common Pokemon like rattata, pidgey, caterpie to start your journey this is the way a commoner boy or girl get their starter Pokemon, if they are able to catch them .

In case of rich family kids who have thier influential family behind their back they don't have to do that no sir they are granted Pokemon like candies and even that Pokemon are of rare species. Sirius has a great hate for them, he doesn't particularly hates rich kids no he hates the one who do nothing for these privilege and just pass time and enjoy later in their life.

But nonetheless he is not sitting here to just curse them and forget his sorrow.

"okay enough crying the geezer would not want me to keep on crying my whole life but would want me to achieve something in life and live happily, first let's go home i need to finalize my plannings for ahead and it's getting dark aswell. "
