The moon hung low in the sky, casting a soft, silver glow over everything in sight and comfortable temperature that's neither too hot nor too cold.

Seidou highschool , one of the prestigious schools in Tokyo prefecture which is located in west Tokyo, they always had a strong baseball team However, they have not successfully reached Koshien for six years and right now they were unable to reach summer Koshien for 7 time.

Yesterday on 31st july. in the West Tokyo Regional Tournament finals to qualify for 89th Summer Koshien. Seidou high once again failed to reach Koshien, losing to Inashiro for the second year in a row.

Seidou High possess advanced training facilities for the baseball team, so the players can both develop their skills and enjoy their surroundings. There are two private fields (A ground and B ground) which they don't have to share with other sport clubs, so they can freely practice throughout the whole year. There is also a indoor ground, two bullpens and Seidou Spirit Dorm is only for baseball club members.

It was night time, in dinning room there was a guy with messy brown hair and glasses sitting in front of tv seriously his eyes were observing

Sounds of commentary came from the tv and scene of brown haired pitcher was pictured

It was the video of yesterday's final seidou vs inashiro

And the one who was reviewing was miyuki kazuya an catcher from seido high

"Sawamura expression clearly changed at the last inning...."

"Why didn't i call time up and go up to the mound? Was i too eager to win the game....."

Miyuki was thinking seriously

And at that time suddenly door of dinning room opened, a delinquent looking guy came through it when he saw what miyuki was watching, he said

"The game was just yesterday and you're already watching the video?"

There was silence between them, miyuki didn't replied after seeing that miyuki was silent other guy continued

"I think its great idea sure... but haven't you done enough?, upperclassmen the back bone of our team is retiring..."

"We weren't good enough kuramochi!"

Miyuki finally replied to kuramochi yoichi who is short-stop of seido and his 2nd year same as miyuki

Kuramochi was surprised

"Me included the whole team wasn't good enough!"

The match on the tv continued while kuramochi wasn't able to reply to miyuki

Miyuki turned the tv off and said to kuramochi

"Even with upperclassmen as dependable as ours, we couldn't able to make all the way...we dont have a set cleanup batter.....and also we dont have an ace!"

Miyuki looked in the eyes of kuramochi and contained

"As it stands.... our generation's dream of going to Koshien will just stay as that a dream."

Kuramochi was stunned and he was unable say a word, and there was someone eavesdropping from behind the door, 2nd year Kawakami an Relief pitcher.

Some people were training at night hoping to get into the first string and players who already are in first string were also training to make themselves not to feel helpless like yesterday match.

Well not everyone at this time was was brown haired with eye which lookrd like it didn't had any light in it was in bath tube alone, why's alone time is already past 9.30 most of this time members have already eaten dinner and taken bath and doing some extra training.

Alone guywasnt moving a single inch and his eyes were also had lost its light , if someone saw this they will think his death.

But suddenly that guy's eye got widened and he suddenly breathed loudly while looking around as if he was in new place, well he finally settled down

Now if you see him he was different than before well not in appearance but he face had a curiosity look.

"This place looks like a bathroom more of a public bath?... then is this Japan?.. did it succeed?"

Boy talked to himself while looking around with excitement while his eyes fall on the mirror he got up from the bathtub and walked in front of mirror

"Well well this is Sawamura eijun no nope! Its now me i m Sawamura eijun!"

When he said that with a excited smile, his expression suddenly turned into painful one

"Hrrhh Damn what's this? That lazy god didn't told me that receiving memories will be this painful"

"According to memories today morning masuko-senpai left the room 5 and shifted into only 3rd dorm, after losing to inashiro in finals after that Sawamura's hardest time started and it was only yesterday"

Sawamura who was in bath for 10mins Stood up.

But i m different i have experienced life where no one will remember you if your an average guy. i want to stand at the top of the world as a pitcher for that first i have to become best pitcher in Japan but its not an easy job to do undoubtedly in high school Hongō Masamune and Narumiya Mei are currently best pitchers in Japan but there are still more but one of them is furuya who is my biggest rival now for ace position

"Well its better not to overthink some stuff i m worried about yips even if i dont have any fear but my body is different and it will take time to settle up here too ahh soo much work is there..."

Sawamura was exhausted thinking about this all stuff

Soon after he fell asleep, well whatever future holds its going to be entertaining and challenging at the same.

Ota, the club president of seido high baseball club and history teacher in seidou high school he was talking to club members who had taken break on phone

After ending the call he had downcast face

"I suppose our job is only lasts until they've chosen thier path and now the third years will be retiring."

Ota thought in his heart, when he was in his thoughts he was attracted by the sounds of swinging bat from indoor ground and walking toward it he was the coach kataoka and rei takashima were infront of entrance watching inside

After seeing them ota asked

"Huh? Coach kataoka wasn't today supposed to be a break from practice?... who.. in the world is?."

Ota was surprised seeing everyone swinging thier bats

Miyuki who came with kuramochi called zono

"Y-You guys shouldn't oughta be here take your break!!"

Zono shouted

"See! Told you they do be up to it"

Miyuki told to kuramochi with silly smile

"Tch People just keep showing up! This was supposed to be a secret training"

Coach kataoka was watching them without day a word

"Even though we gave them two days off these darn kids"

Ota said

"I bet its because third years have shown them thier resolve the upperclassmen generation has to pull back, but the next generation has inherited thier Spirit."

Rei said with a smile and glanced at coach kataoka and continued

" they, too... will believe in and follow thier coach."

Outside Sawamura was walking towards the playground after testing some stuff with solemn face

"Tch, now work load has doubled for me"

After waking up early morning and doing toiletries, i begun throwing in the net for some minutes, then i went in the bullpen took the net and kept it at catchers position and started throwing the pitches from the mound, first thought was control and velocity sucks with 4 seam grip after throwing more finally i saw some improvements in control and velocity too

After throwing some more i stopped after throwing cutter and 4 seam seeing that my pitches not going wild in inside corner, i felt my control and velocity increased then what Sawamura thrown in summer Tournament i was quite happy seeing that there was no problem throwing inside well not sharply afterall Sawamura control wasn't good at first but right now with addiction of karma points control was also good not good as Narumiya because i haven't gotten used to it yet it will take days but still it was sharp enough with my pitching form.

Well every moments comes to end. And second string senpai came for training when he saw me i was throwing alone he volunteered to be at batters box and i Accepted but when i threw first pitch inside it went wild just missed a inch for his head, he backed off and he fell on his butt, well i didn't stay there for long i apologized and sais i was throwing here from early morning ball slipped from me afterall i m sweating here and i escaped from there.

Well thats why i m heading towards the playground to run with tires.

"Tch i have to learn to throw out and low, should i ask chris senpai? No if he figures out i have yips he will tell the coach, in manga coach and everyone found out just 1 week before the fall tournament qualifiers and he was still included in main team but what if they prepare someone till i overcome my yips and still then before fall tournament i cant throw to inside what if they drop me out i dont want to risk it"

Sawamura thought with heavy heart

Suddenly Sawamura attention was attracted to sound was running and heavy breathing, he saw was figure of furuya running while he was completely sweating and he was breathing heavily after seeing this Sawamura was shocked.

"Furuya! Have you this whole time?"

Sawamura who was in dorm after throwing didn't saw furuya in indoor training room or in dorm while he stayed there thinking for few hours

"I...never want to feel like that again..."

Furuya said and thought

"At that moment that game ended all i could do was watch it happen from the bench.... if i... if i'd been little bit stronger.."

Furuya with determined eye and with confident tone proclaimed

After hearing from furuya Sawamura wasn't able to talk and he didn't move for few minutes by that time he turned he looked at furuya back which was already far away

"I need to take this seriously this is my life my future, i dont have time to complain about yips, no one forced me to do this i just have to overcome every obstacles!"

Sawamura declared with confidence

Looking at furuya back Sawamura thought

"I might not obtain that 1 number this fall tournament but i wont let you outshine me, even if you're an ace i will overthrow you"

We are friends outside the field but we are enemies fighting for mound only one pitcher can stand on it!.
