CHAPTER 9: JANE & JAZZ

OMG Jazz, when the hell did Kylee put this all up?

Ruth couldn't hide her amazement as both she and Jazz stood in the hallway looking at kylee's posters everywhere.

Yesterday, she and Jordan spent the whole day after school yesterday putting them up.

Jane quickly answer as she moves closer to where they were both standing.

Jazz eye's lights up with anger and jealousy as soon as she heard Jordan's and Kylee's names in the same sentence.

What??

She asked Jane who was now smiling.

You heard me right, Jordan got all her campaign posters made for her yesterday to surprise her and you needed to see kylee's face yesterday, she was so happy she even gave him a tight hug.

Jane added noticing the tears in Jazz eyes waiting to fall.

Kylee has been able to sweep Jordan off his feet, something you have been trying to do for the past 10years now all to no avail. What a shame.

How dare you Jane???

Jazz screams at her.

Mind the way you speak to me or else I'll...

Or else what Jazz?

Jane cuts in before her she could complete her statement.

Don't think for a minute you scare me or you can intimidate me like you do everyone else. Always remember this sis, I also know how to make someone's life miserable and the only reason I let you get away with all your mischief is because you are my blood but if you even dare to overstep your boundary with me I will forget we are related, is that clear?

Jane walks away leaving Jazz and Ruth totally speechless.

Was that Jane or is it someone else who looks like her?

Ruth asked Jazz.

What has gotten into her?

Kylee westen, that's what happened to her. Ever since she started hanging out with that poor excuse for a girl she has become something else.

Jazz replied in frustration.

Are you really going to let Kylee take your place Jazz? I mean if you don't do something now she will not just over shadow you here at school but also take Jordan away from you.

Ruth speaks out in a troubled tone causing Jazz to panic.

No one can take Jordan away from me, no one.

Jazz screams as she starts removing any poster that has anything to do Kylee on it.

Miss Blossom, what in heavens name do you think you are doing?

Principal Parker ask angrily as he got to where Jazz stood.

May I remind you, you have no right to take down kylee's posters as it is against the rules of the competition to do so.

He lashed at her.

WOW, principal Parker.

Jazz says as she claps her hands. Am amazed How easily you changed sides, how much did her parents give you? That made you forget all that my mother has done for you?

Answer me.

Jazz screams at him.

Principal Parker quickly calmed himself down noticing the crowed of students that has gathered to see what was happening.

He quickly turn to them.

And why are you all here?, back to class all of you.

He screams at them.

Not you Miss Blossom.

He quickly called Jazz back as she was also about to take her leave

Miss Blossom am trying my possible best to help you, but trust me when i say i wouldn't be able to help you if you keep on misbehaving like this.

And you are very wrong my dear because i can never forget what your mother has done for me and my loyalty will always be with but of you.

So miss Blossom all am asking of you is to keep to the rules and let kylee feel she is winning because as long as i am cousin you will become crown highs Cheer leading captain.

Principal Parker whispers to her smiling.

You should have just said something instead of making me worry myself over nothing.

Well at least you are still useful.

Jazz said rudely before walking away from him smiling and feeling happy that Principe Parker is and will always be on her side.

LUNCH

Really Jazz, you are just going to sit back and let kylee take over the school.

The surprised look on Ruth's face couldn't help but make Jazz laugh.

And who in heavens name told you that kylee can take the school from me Ruth.

Jazz ask giving her that evil smiling she always puts on when ever she was up to something.

Nobody needs to say anything Jazz.

Everyone can see she is, i mean look around you almost everyone here is putting on her Campaign t-shirt .

O Ruth, you really still don't know me after been my friend for a long time.

Let kylee have all the fun while she still can because when the right time comes everyone will know who the really queen of crown high is.

Jazz confidently announced as kept on starring at kylee who was buys handing out T-shirt.

Kylee said as she joins Jordan at the basketball court were he was sitting alone.

Jordan handed her a bottle of soda, to help her relax.

It's looks like almost every student are on your side.

Of cause they are, i mean why wouldn't they be when i have you by my side.

Kylee replies.

Jordan took her hand in his as he looks into her beautiful blue eyes.

You know over this past few days, you have become more than a Friend to me.

Kylee ask with excitement in her eyes.

I mean i have never really had a best friend and you have been able to fill into that roll perfectly well.

Yer, like best friends.

Jordan said with a little disappointment in his voice. 

He really wanted to tell kylee how he really felt about her.

He go up from his sitting position and went down on one kneel.

So Miss westen will you do me the honor of being my bestie?

Kylee helps him to get back on his feet laughing .

Yes Mr Mikelson , i would love to be your bestie.

Ok then let's make a promise, that no matter what happens we will always be best friends and we will never leave each other.

Jordan quickly propose.

Sure, let's do it.

Okay,I'll go first.

Jordan says as he takes kylee's hands in his.

I Jordan mikeson hereby promise to protect, care, help, love , respect, stay and stand by Miss kylee westen no matter what happens or were we go.

I promise to be here for her when ever she needs me.

ALWAYS AND FOREVER.

Kylee had no idea why the promise they were about to make sounded so familiar.

Kylee are you okay?

Jordan ask noticingthe look on her face.

Yes am fine, it's just that this promise sounds familiar but forget about it, it's my turn now.

Jane asked as she sat down beside kylee wondering why they were both smiling.

Jordan said jokingly.

Fine, if it will make you happy, we just upgraded your friendship status from friends to best friends are you happy now?

Finally, Jordan Mickelson has met someone he thinks is worthy Enough to have the title best friend.

That's really good but I'll advice you kylee to get ready for war because when Jazz finds out that you have been giving the one of titles she wants she is going to be pretty mad.

Jane said laughing.

So kylee we are heading to Gary's dinner after school, you're coming right?

Jordan asked as they all walk back to class.

Sure I'll love to, i get bored at home anyways.

She had to idea why but hugging around Jordan fills up that emptiness she had always felt inside.

AFTER SCHOOL

Diego was waiting outside for her as usual, then he finally saw her coming with that familiar smile she puts on when she was about to run off without him. 

Let me guess, you are not coming home with me now right?

Diego asked with folded arms.

Yep, but I promise i won't be late this time.

Kylee be safe, keep out of trouble and don't wait till it's late before you call me to come get you, okay?

Yes D, i won't. Thanks.

Kylee said happily as she got into Jordan's car to join the others.

After driving for a few minutes, Jordan finally pulled up at the parking lot of Gray's dinner.

They all walked in and after spotting an empty table, sat down to order.

You guys really needed to see Jazz's face when she walked into school this morning only to see kylee's posters everywhere.

Jane said laughing.

I really wished my battery wasn't dead, i would have taken a picture.

Don't lose hope yet about getting that picture Jane.

Ruby said smiling.

Because you are going to see that expression on her face again when kylee finally wins the competition.

Kylee who couldn't help but Wonder, decided to ask.

I know Jazz really needs to learn how to treat others with respect and it's totally normal for everyone else to hate her because of the way she acts but you Jane, you are not just her sister , you happen to be her twin, so why do you hate her?

I mean most twins supports each other even  when they are wrong.

Jane's smile quickly fades as soon as kylee asked her the question.

Kylee don't ask, Jane doesn't like talking about it.

Ruby informed kylee.

No Ruby, it's okay, Kylee is family so it's okay if she knows why.

I hate Jazz because she acts like my mom, she can do anything and everything to get what she wants even if that means she has to hurt her own blood.

She even tried to kill me last year when she thought Jordan had a crush on me.

And my mom just told the police that it was an accident.

What? I can hurt you like that?

Kylee was totally shocked and could see the anger in Jane's eyes.

You see this cut on my forehead?.

Jane continues.

It's as a result of the attack from my own sister.

She was willing to do to me what Katrina did to your mom.

You ask me why i hate her, i hate her because she is replica of Katrina and you see i hate Katrina with every Viber of my being.

O and kylee i really like you so I'll give you this piece of advice, be careful when it's comes to Katrina and Jazz. 

And don't trust principal Parker, he has always  been a loyal dog to Katrina.

Jordan could see how much talking about her family hurts Jane, so he quickly change the topic.

"Let's stop talking about Jane and start talking about something else."

"Like?" Kylee said with one eyebrow up.

"Like you," Ruby replied.

"Do you have a boyfriend???"Mark quickly asked.

"No Mark I don't have a boyfriend, would you like to be my boo??" She said jokingly while laughing.

"No Kylee, just asking for a friend." Mark said, smiling and giving Jordan a she is free look.

"What is going on between you two?" Ruby asked when she noticed the look on both Jordan and Mark's faces.

"Oh it's nothing Ruby, we were thinking about what happened at basketball practices today."

"We came here to have fun so can we please just have fun already and stop all this unnecessary questions. Thank you." 

"Now let's have fun!" Ruby said as she quickly pulled her friends to the dance floor leaving Jordan and Kylee alone.
