New unpleasant acquaintance

(Zoya's POV)

The cry of a rooster could be heard through the whole village of Berk. "Just five more minutes mom!" I whispered. Someone next to me giggled and I opened my eyes and noticed Stormfly peeking through the door of the stable. "I didn't know night fury's were related to roosters?" She grinned.

"Yeah, so stop eating my family just to be faster than Toothless!" I snarled at her "Wait, how do you know that?" This time I was the one grinning. "I guess you'll never know". Stormfly seemed to accept her defeat. "Anyway I came to tell you that we're going to look out for dragon hunters today. We'll be back in the evening so try to rest a bit" She said and turned around.

I placed my head back on my paws, closed my eyes and listened to my surroundings. I could hear the flap of wings as the gang left and then it became silent.... Well, not exactly. There were sounds of screaming humans scolding their dragons, the sound of metal being hit by a hammer and sheep being thrown through the air.

'I can't sleep this way!' I thought and tried to press my head in the hay to block out the noise. After a few minutes I gave up and walked out of the stable. 'I guess it can't hurt to look around the village myself' I thought and went to a building on the outskirts of the village. As I got closer I heard a familiar voice. "Hey there!" Gobber winked at with his Hammer-hand.

I walked up to him and greeted him by nudging my head in his side nearly pressing him to the ground. He laughed. "Come here and let me check your wing!" He said.

"You heal pretty fast... Maybe we can try taking the stabilizer of in one or two days" He mumbled. "Anyway I need to make a few new saddles today so why don't you stroll around the village for a bit?"

After Gobber kicked me out of the smithy I continued walking through the village. Some dragons were helping the people re-building a new house while the others were mostly sleeping or caring for their kids. Even though I couldn't fly at the moment I felt pretty free. I could do whatever I want with no one restricting me and if I needed help I could just turn to the gang. Although I wouldn't ask the twins for help.

I jumped back in surprise as I felt something hitting my body. 'What was that?' I looked around and saw a baby Gronckle sitting on the ground. Only a few seconds later I could hear scolding words coming closer and closer. 'An angry mother appeared!' I thought and shortly after I witnessed my first dragon-parent scolding.

I don't know if its just my human parts but dragon mom's are way more scary then human mom's and not only because of their teeth. 'I hope it's not common for dragons to eat their kids or else this one won't see tomorrow. 'I guess I'll just slowly take a few steps back and then run' I thought.

I really didn't want to get involved int this stuff. I walked over to the forest not wanting to encounter any other angry moms. 'I could visit the cave Hiccup and Toothless met!' I came up with a brilliant idea. I was about to visit a place every HTTYD fan would want to visit.

'But where exactly is it?' I though as I looked around. There was nothing but trees. Right, left, before me and behind me were just trees. 'I guess just walking back the way I came from?' I made a 180° turn and walked straight back.

'At least this island is not that big so...'"WHAAAA?!" I screamed as I fell down a cliff. I tried to stick my claws int the ground to stop myself from falling but in the end I landed head first on a beach burying my head in the sand. 'I hate this!' while trying to get the sand of my tongue I noticed the stares piercing my body.

There were a few armed men with swords, axes and armor staring at me. Some of them were carrying a big cage. 'Oh shi--' Something was pressed in my neck and a strange feeling shot through my body as I fell asleep immediately.

"I thought the kids were not here boss?" a bearded man asked the man wearing a dark cape. "Well then I guess this is our lucky day!"
