"I heard it from the one Young Master Feng refer to as Brother Zhi Yan."

Fei Bao Xing was actually Feng Ao Xiu, it was a simple truth. But, to keep people away from discovering his secret, the fewer people know it, the better.

Guan Ru Yi's face may not be seen since she was bowing down. But, you did not need to have eyes to see the conviction and resolution in her eyes.

"Please lift your head... I'm uncomfortable with this situation. Quick, other people are going to see you."

Feng Ao Xiu was flustered. It was not that rare to have many men bow before him. It was mostly out of respect and fear. However, this time a woman was sincerely pleading for help. She even agreed to give all her life if he accepts.

Guan Ru Yi's sincereness moved Feng Ao Xiu's heart. He wants to help her. This is the first time for him to feel this way, he wished he'll do anything for her.

From the corner of his eyes, he noticed two figures watching them from the nearest corners.

The two was an unlikely pairing of Wi Ke Ling and Baldy.

As they were walking together, they saw an unprecedented situation on where a girl, Guan Ru Yi was crying right in front of a man. Meanwhile, the man, Fei Bao Xing just stand there coldly not even comforting her.

"Di... Did you see that?" Wi Ke Ling said.

"Sh*t! I'm not dreaming, am I?" Baldy said. "One of our goddesses, Guan Ru Yi just confessed to Fei Bao Xing."

"Hmmm... To tell the truth, I have a feeling this might happen. During the test, they were a bit too close previously." Wi Ke Ling said even though he had no idea about this at all. "But, to think he rejected her... Poor Guan Ru Yi, look how broken-hearted she is."

"Kuuhhhh..." Baldy clenched his fist tightly in anger. "I should be happy they did not become an item... But, if it was me, I would die in happiness just being with her. To think he would be so ungrateful!"

"Says the man who tried to take her points last time."

"Uggghhh... Don't bring that up. had no choice at the time, it was a do or die situation for."

"But this is not surprising. I know Fei Bao Xing quite well when our teams teamed up. If there's one thing I learned about him, he is a proud man. Even Guan Ru Yi could not satisfy him." Wi Ke Ling said blabbing nonsense.

"What do you mean by that?"

"He rejected Guan Ru Yi because he targetted someone else. I had a hunch that he was eyeing Chang Miao. It looks like that hunch is true..." Wi Ke Ling said although he never had one in the first place.

"What... I know Chang Miao is the prettiest. But, Fei Bao Xing, you set your target too high! Who do you think you are?!" Baldy said in anger as he stomped out of the corner.

"Hey, where are you going?!"

"Don't stop me, Wi Ke Ling. I'm going to teach him a lesson!"

"Fool! You lost to him multiple times before. You know he's strong. It's you who's going to get beaten up!" Wi Ke Ling sneered at Baldy. "Besides, so what if you won? It's not like Guan Ru Yi would want to go out with you. Admit it, he's better looking than you..."

"Kuuhhhh..." Baldy grunted in despair. "That's not true... He may have a nice face, but I'm not far behind..."

"What do you mean not far behind? The difference is like heaven and earth!"

"I wish you would not be so... Ah! He saw us!" Before Baldy could finish his sentence, he noticed that the one in their topic of conversation was looking at them.

"He's looking at us, what now?" Wi Ke Ling glanced at Baldy, "Do you still want to fight him?"

"Not anymore... However, I got an idea!"

Slowly Baldy approached him. He glanced slightly at Guan Ru Yi before he stared a dagger at him, "So, why did you reject her? Fei Bao Xing, don't you have the slightest compassion towards her?"

Feng Ao Xiu panicked, not only Baldy saw the whole thing, he even asked a lot of questions. He did not know how much does Baldy heard, but from the looks of it, he knows everything, including that he's Feng Ao Xiu.

"It is none of your business... Please leave, I have nothing to say to you." Feng Ao Xiu glared at him. This was the best he could, acted like he would not bother with Baldy.

"It is my business. As an ally of the woman, I would not let someone who broke the maiden's heart leave just like that. Look, there's no reason not to accept her, is there? Or would you rather have bad rumours spread around you..."

Feng Ao Xiu worst fear came true. Baldy threatened to reveal his secret. While that doesn't kill him directly, the more people know, the greater the danger of his real level be revealed. But what surprised him the most was that Baldy was not afraid of the name Feng Ao Xiu, and even use that as a threat.

"What do you want?" Feng Ao Xiu asked.

"Nothing much..." said Baldy with a sneer, "I just want you to accept her request... Even if you don't want to, you can try. Perhaps something will happen..."

Feng Ao Xiu clenched his fist tightly. He never thought Baldy would do so much for Guan Ru Yi. Did he perhaps like her?

Feng Ao Xiu sighed. Perhaps this was a sign that heavens want him to accept her request. Besides, he also wished he could help her. He's really going to regret this...

"All right!" Feng Ao Xiu said, "Guan Ru Yi, I accept your request!"

"Really, thank you very much!" Guan Ru Yi lifted her head. The brightness in her face has returned. "Baldy, thank you for helping me. Without you, I don't know what to do."

"It's okay. I don't deserve much..."

"Under one request." Feng Ao Xiu said to Baldy, "You'll keep this secret to yourself."

"Don't worry. I'll keep my mouth shut." Baldy said. Then, he turned around and left, leaving the two behind.

Wi Ke Ling watched with a confused look as Baldy came towards him. There was no doubt that Wi Ke Ling got a lot of questions.

"Hey, what's wrong with you, Baldy?" Wi Ke Ling asked. "I thought you hated him. But, you just helped them get together."

"You know, I think a lot about what you said." Baldy crossed his arms as he spoke seriously. "You are right that he is stronger than me, and also slightly more good-looking..."

"Like, I said previously, it's not just slightly..."

"And..." Baldy interrupted as he did not want to hear the continuation. "It pains my heart that Guan Ru Yi has a boyfriend now. However, it is a necessary sacrifice."

"Sacrifice?" Wi Ke Ling tilted his head.

"If the two of them got together, it means that Chang Miao will not be able to be with him. Which means the lonely and single Chang Miao will come to the next best man, me!" said Baldy with confidence.

"..." Wi Ke Ling twitched his eyes continuously, he did not even know where to began.

"Ah, Chang Miao. You'll soon be mine!" Baldy sang in joy.

"You set your target too high!" Wi Ke Ling snapped at him.

Feng Ao Xiu and Guan Ru Yi moved out to a secluded area where no one passes as they were about to start a serious conversation.

"Once again, Young Master Feng. Thank you for agreeing to my request."

"It's okay. But why are you so desperate? You girls were quite strong. I'm sure given enough time you girls will be able to do whatever it is you set to do. Isn't it the reason you're joining the Silver Hands Owl!"

"As expected, from Young Master Feng. I really could not hide anything from you. Young Master is right, we joined the Silver Hands Owl for the sake of revenge." Guan Ru Yi said with her eyes were deep in thought and anguish. "However, there is a reason why we're in a hurry..."
