Chapter 65 : Tsundere Konan

In the Pure Land, Madara Uchiha witnessed Nagato choosing the second option, and his soul trembled with anger.

To be honest, no matter which option Nagato chose, it would have left him deeply upset.

However, the situation had taken a dire turn. Nagato had seemingly "betrayed" them, and the opportunity to claim the Rinnegan was lost. Obito had decided to let Madara handle the complications.

"Alright," Black Zetsu agreed to Obito's proposal after some thought. It was not in his character, as the "Will of Uchiha Madara," to hinder Obito.

"I'll prepare a sacrifice," Black Zetsu announced before diving into the ground. The art of reincarnation had been learned by both Black Zetsu and Obito.

It was a contingency plan left behind by Madara for situations where his pawns (Obito or Nagato) turned disobedient. To ensure Akatsuki's strength post-reincarnation, Madara had also prepared some valuable sacrifices.

As Black Zetsu departed, Obito gazed ahead and muttered to himself, "Madara, times have changed."

It wasn't outright manipulation or control but rather subtle psychological influence. Now, Uchiha Ran believed that Nagato was ready to accept his reason.

Handing Nagato a book, Uchiha Ran said, "Read this history book first, and then we can talk further.

" I also agree with Akatsuki's ideals."

The book he had given Nagato was the famous "The Art of War."
