Sam woke up early to make it on time to meet Selma at the Pearl Plains Community Center. When he arrived, she proudly introduced her son to the director sitting in his small, messy office.

"Shakeim," Selma said, tapping lightly on his open door. The pig stood up and moved out from behind his desk. "This is my son, Sam. He's decided to come on board and help us out!"

"Ah, one of the twins," said Shakeim loudly. He shook hands vigorously with Sam. "Always happy to have an extra pair of hands. New blood, that's good. Happy to have you on board, Sam!"

"I'm glad I can be of service," Sam replied shyly.

"Well, we're glad, too," said Shakeim. "Let me get you an apron and a hairnet. Selma, you show him where the hand washing sink is." Shakeim handed him the gear. "Have you met Kevin yet?"

"No."

"Oh, you'll get along just fine. He's a little rough around the edges, but he's dedicated," Shakeim explained. "You'll get along just fine."
