Chapter-42 : Lightning in Kumo

"That was a weird dream" Hiro said as he yawned a bit and checked the time.

It was 6 in the morning and almost time to continue his journey again.

Despite only getting 3-4 hours of sleep, it was sufficient for him because the stronger he became with better stats, the better his bodily functions became.

It was not only in just the sleeping, his body could digest a huge amount of food at an accelerated pace, it could retain optimal working temperature with the use of chakra to cool or heat his body in need and many more things Hiro had yet to discover.

As he got up, Hiro looked at a blushing Kurenai standing in front of him as he looked down.

He was not wearing a shirt, his upper body was on display while his pants had a visibly large tent in it.

Looking at the embarrassing situation, Hiro, who didn't want to tackle it now, just disappeared in a blink, appearing back after a dozen seconds or so as he was now fully clothed up.

"Forget about that, thats just happens unknowingly, we should be leaving right now" Hiro said, trying to change the topic before it even began.

He then looked at Kurenai's who shook her head a bit to clear as she said "Yeah, we should leave probably"

'Looks like it is working' Hiro thought as he looked at his mission progress.

Although not too handsome, Hiro was definitely above average looking, paired with his muscular physique and his diligent skincare routine, His allure to the opposite sex was quite a bit, especially when he puts his Physique on display like what he just did.

He was not like those thin, completely shredded, chiseled muscles guys (skinny shredded), his body still had a lot of 'heft' to it, he packed a lot of muscle under his skin and it showed.

And why would it not, with the amount of physical training he did and the kind of diet he had, it was only natural that he be like that, a no nonsense physique that had muscles where mattered.

Anyways, Hiro was in a good mood seeing that his progress had went up, Charming this young lady wouldn't take as long as he had imagined it.

The two of them then continued their Journey on the Roach's back, stopping only a few times to take some break.

Roach was working overtime but knew that a fat reward was waiting for him at the end.

He kept on running nonstop while giving 'some' help to Hiro whenever he got the chance.

Like suddenly bumping or having a couple hiccups in between, 'accidentally' causing Hiro or Kurenai lean over each other, causing a lot of embarrassing situations to arise in between them.

He wasn't like that normally, but what they say, apple doesn't fall far from the tree, growing under Hiro's directions and ownership, Hiro's perverted nature had rubbed on to the horse, causing it to know when to serve his owner good.

The Normally smooth riding horse, as if world's best suspensions were built into his legs became a bit bouncy, causing 'things' to go up and down.

As such, their Journey towards the village hidden in the sands continued.

[ Raikage's Office ]

Unlike the normal times when the Raikage would hear a bad or angering news, this time, he just stood there.

An ominous cloud could be seen gathering over the Raikage tower as sparks of Lightning crackled through it, giving off a foreboding feeling. 

Normally, A, the fourth Raikage would just break the table in half with his fists to take out the anger, but this time, he stood silent.

*Boom!!!*

*Crackle*

*Bzzzttt*

*Lightning sfx*

Suddenly, A, who had been standing silently with a blank look on his face for a few minutes, exploded with chakra. (Not literally lol)

His figure that was standing still let off an unimaginable pressure as bolts of lightning crackled around his body as if it were snakes protecting their eggs.

The Raikage robe on his body started fluttering as in in a tornado as Lightning started burning through it his Kage level chakra on full display as his subordinates in the room found it hard to keep their bearing.

All except one backed away as that one slowly approached A and rested his hands on his shoulder while saying "Calm down brother, now is not the time" 

It was B, also known as the Killer Bee, one of the most trusted Aides of the Raikage and his sworn brother.

As soon as B said that, the pressure disappeared from from the room as 4th Raikage slowly moved his head to meet B in the eyes.

It was his second time seeing him kike this in his entire life, It was a side of A that B had only seen once in his life before, it was after the death if 3rd Raikage.

The blank look in his eyed turned into one of pure rage and anger as he said calmly "Prepare for combat, we're purging them from this world"

Just as he completed his sentence, his figure disappeared from the office before anyone could blink.

The remaining people then looked towards B for further instructions.

"As he said, send out chirps to Darui and Samui, I need them her by as soon as possible" 

B then turned towards another Shinobi standing in the background as he said to him "Dodai, send summons to the elders, tell them that we are gonna have to open the vault much sooner than expected"

"On it" The shinobi named Dodai confirmed as he then gave orders to others standing in the room.

Dodai was trusted aide of the Kage and was the current Advisor to the Raikage, not only that, he also possessed S rank strength with the use of his Lava release and Stolen Byakugan. 

"I'll go look for him, he'll dismantle a mountain or two otherwise" B said as he too disappeared from the room.

"Looks like the situation going to get fucked" Dodai said under his breath as he started running calculations in his head.

This was all a shock to him, he had not expected such things to happen, at least not in relative peace time. 

'Akatsuki...They are a bigger threat that expected' He thought in his mind.

It was just a normal day of paperwork for him, the news to Yugito Nii's death turned it upside down.

Never in hell had he imagined that someone would lay their hands on Yugito, the Jinchuriki of the Two tails, someone who was almost a little sister to A.

Usually there would still be hope that perpetrators only caught Yugito for ransom or something else, but using the ancient artifacts of the old era, it was confirmed that Yugito had Indeed died.

'They are most probably successfully extracted the two tails.... That's dangerous' Dodai kept thinking of worse and worse scenarios in his mind then abandoned the pessimistic train of thoughts.

Yugito was no weak Kunoichi, she was probably the 4th strongest person in Kumo, someone who was capable of mass Destruction as the host of the two tails.

If she went all out, she was no less than a Kage, but being able to defeat her this quick meant that assailants were not weak either, at least multiple S rank Shinobis, possibly even a Kage level being present. 

Either that or they somehow successfully ambushed her and defeated her before she could transform in tailed beast mode.

Whatever it was, the message was clear, they are not weak and they are going after the tailed beasts and their hosts.

"Times ahead are going to be troublesome"
