Wang Yuju's Return [6]

Wang Yuju covered her red face in embarrassment which made Li Ming chuckle. The gardener was watching this lovey-dovey couple who shamelessly stuffed his mouth with dog food and cleared his throat. "Did you two forget that I'm still here? If you want to continue, I advise you to go inside." This gardener's eyes are nearly blinded by your PDA [1]. Li Ming turned to Wang Yuju, "Let's go inside."

Wang Yuju awkwardly turned her back to look at the gardener and felt more ashamed.

The both of them entered the big castle-like house and were instantly greeted by the maids. Wang Yuju looked around the house and all she had on her face was admiration. The interior of the house was just like a royal palace. There were different antique things and furniture that added a sense of royalty and elegance to the room. Different paintings and arts were hung on the wall and there was a golden chandelier that lit the whole place with its exquisite beauty.

Wang Yuju peered at Li Ming when she realized that most of the paintings were of their childhood memories together. A delicious aroma suddenly wafted from the kitchen which made her swallow her words back. Since she landed to China, she hadn't have even a bite and was starving. Li Ming noticed that Yuju was staring at the kitchen like a starving beast and realization dawned him.

He sighed and shook his head. "You should've told me that you were hungry; I was completely busy showing you around and didn't think that you'd be so hungry after your flight. I'm so ignorant.." Seeing that he started blaming himself, Yuju smiled."It's okay, it's my own fault.." She herself had forgotten that she was hungry and only when the aroma attacked her senses, she was reminded of her extreme hunger.

Li Ming ordered the maid to set down the dishes and prepare some more. "You think I'm a pig?" Yuju said as she stopped him. "No, why?" "You just ordered the maid to prepare more dishes.." Li Ming smiled. "Who said I'm preparing them for you?" Yuju was speechless. In the end, the outcome was that both of them finished the dishes completely without any leftovers.

Li Ming said as he looked at the satisfied Yuju, "Let me show your room." Yuju rubbed her full stomach and followed him upstairs. Li Ming opened the door and they went inside the room. The room was beautiful and gave off a comfortable vibe. Yuju sat down on the fluffy bed and looked around curiously. There was a big closet and a dressing table near the bed. There was a bookshelf and a table along with some chairs. Moreover, there was a window from where she could see the beautiful scenery outside.

The room was to her liking; it wasn't overly girly but kind of resembled a princess' room. Li Ming observed her expression and knew that she was pleased with the room. He walked near her as he pulled her hand and said, "I need to tell you something." Wang Yuju watched as he pulled her somewhere outside and her expression shifted. She knew exactly what he was going to do next.

Li Ming took her to a place which was beautifully decorated with flowers. Rose petals were used to make a heart-shape and it was clearly heavenly. As she expected, Li Ming took a deep breath before kneeling down and taking out something from his pocket. Yuju's heart was on her throat and her heart thumped louder and louder. He took out a velvet box and opened it, revealing a shiny diamond ring.

He said, "Yuju, I've been wanting to tell you this since the moment I met you. And I've finally got a chance to confess my feelings for you: I love you, Yuju." Finally, he asked with a nervous smile, "Yuju, will you marry me and vow to be by my side forever?" Yuju was frozen in her spot. Though she had somehow expected everything, being in this situation personally and hearing those words that she had dreamed of, was very different. Her mind ceased to work the moment she heard his question.

Stay by your side forever? Of course I want to.. I want to be with you, love with you and grow old with you... But as if she would say those things easily; since he teased her so much, she would make him wait. So, she lowered her head and said with a smile, "I'll tell you my answer after the party tonight."
