Ariana flung the papers across the room before standing up, holding onto the sides of her office desk so stiffly that her knuckles turned white.

Detectives who were highly esteemed were asked to look into the case and find out who was that powerful and Influential enough to kill a great man of power and affluence like Henry Torres.

The suspect everyone had in mind was his wife. Ariana Torres.

It was explainable as to why someone would have access to kill him that easily.

However, coupled with mourning her husband and proving her innocence, Ariana further digs into the case by hiring more Detectives, and exposes one of her husband's baby mamas, Mary Gallia who admitted to poisoning late Mr. Torres because since she was unable to bear a child for him as well, she couldn't bear to see another woman's child inherit all his properties.

Mary was trialed in court and sentence to life imprisonment with hard labor, and Mrs Torres was proven innocent and her sullied name was cleansed.

As the rule permits, she was allowed to have full ownership of all her husband's properties until she decides to adopt a child in the near future or get married and bear an heir.

But as the months went by, Ariana made certain that only she remained the rightful sole owner in possession of all the properties, and she ensured that.

When Henry was still alive and having baby mamas scattered around the country, Ariana had been dutifully keeping tabs on all of them, and once she was proven innocent in the court after her husband's deaths, she had hired skilled assassins to end the lives of every single woman who her husband have slept with that wasn't her.

The job was not an easy task, but Ariana was one who liked to take on impossible challenges whether alone or not, and she had the money and influence for that.

She could get the assassins to kill all those innocent women; the ones that were innocent and not so innocent and still get away with their deaths without a drop of blood of her hand.

That was her using her powers and affluence.

Years passed and she had evolved along with the company. She had headquarters around the world- she lived in a bigger mansion now with maids at her beck and call. She went on vacations all around the world much frequently- Ariana was enjoying life with her husband's wealth and business which she was managing well.

She however did not expect that a stranger from no where after all these years, would come, bearing the proven medical results and claiming that he was the rightful son and heir of his father's properties.

The thick bushy brows, the same firy, clear cerulean eyes which held a bit of mischief and mirth in them, a straight perfect shaped nose, and a sexy jawline that looked like it was chiseled into perfection by gods.

When he had walked into her office, she had drank in his appearance, taking note of his lean muscular frame, the way his shirt hugged his body perfectly and shielded her eyes from his torso. His hair was ink black and swept back from his face just like Henry did his when he usually went to work or had an urgent meeting.

The resemblance was too scary.

But just like she had ended the lives of all the potential heirs even before they were born with a just snap of her finger, this young stranger would be of no difference.
