MY OTHER HALVES

Jemi was born on earth and died in an accident which of course was the end for her but who knew she would be reborn into another world.

  This world was no different from the former infact you could call it world two,

there were technology but way advance than world one.

This world had five continents and the continent in the middle was said to be the most powerful they were the ones who invented the technology but they had a secret which almost no one knew.

  They were said to be Monsters lurking around deep underground in small towns and these monsters ate people.

When Jemi was reborn she came from a money grubbing woman, she didn't choose this part but it seems her life wasn't going to be easy.

  Jemi's mother was a prostitute it wasn't her first time aborting a child but this time the child refused to die so when she finally gave birth she thought of selling the child

Jemi was just two weeks old but since she's an old soul her brain was already well knowledgeable, she knew her mother had been making numerous calls day in day out asking for a buyer and this kind of made her sad

  (if you ain't ready to have a child then don't) she thought to herself.

  Finally a week later Jemi's mother took her to a hospital were she signed some papers and a big envelope was given to her,

Jemi watched as she was handed over and saw her mother smiling while counting her money, after that day she never saw her again.

Ten years later, in an underground deep within the city lies a secret base where experiments of all kinds were being held.

"Hey jemi you did good today like always I'm so envious"

"I just did what I learned you can do it too"

She gave herself her old name and the other children around her got used to the name.

"Ohh please we all know you're the teacher's pet you get special attention unlike us"

"That's enough guys we need to check in before we get in trouble again"

Slowly the children walked in line and matched to the nurses assigned to them to be checked

  "Wow jemi you have no injuries again I got to say you're one special kid you'll do wonders I'm sure of it"

A nurse said smiling like a robot

  "Sig....h sucks to be us huhh we all do the same thing but yet our bodies are left with scars" said one of the children

This was what happened almost every day down here,  the other kids felt completely different and just like jemi they were also adopted by this same agency they were nothing but experiments.

They made the children learn weird things that cost them their lives.

Battling a monster wasn't easy and being fed the monsters blood wasn't easy at all and many of them couldn't withstand more than two paint of blood in a month but jemi could which was why the superiors focused on her more.

   Right from when she was little she was stronger than those her age and even those older than her.

   "Well what's the report"

   "As usual sir the subject number 8 has excelled way better than her peers and her body still doesn't leave scars behind unlike the rest of the children"

   "I see this child really is interesting she was worth the money after all"

   "But sir we've lost five children today from section C ward nine"

   "Is that so well no need to worry, children can always be produced but a successful experiment is had to come by and we've successfully gotten one.

Listen carefully observe the subject number 8 for this week put her through a lot of trial but don't let her die after that I'll decide if it's time to bring her out "

Ye...ssss Sir I'll do just that"

"Subject number 8 you hold alot of mystery and I badly want to uncover them"

The next week was tougher than last week during the training two children died right in front of jemi making her to throw up.

she was tired and wondered how long was she gonna continue with this playing cat and mouse game, everyday a monster would be released they had to work as a team to kill the monster and extract a certain pearl from its centre and getting that pearl wasn't easy even when the monster was dead it's inside was poisonous and even the other monsters that were alive quickly rushed to eat whatever poured out blood, so sometimes the children patiently waited for the pearl to be completely exposed when the other monsters ate the dead monster.
