The Secrets Of The Gordian Knot: Book Of Secrets

The year is 2005. 7 years after the Battle Of Hogwarts. The Wizarding World is, once again, at peace. 11-year-old Irish-American twins James and Melissa Evercreetch are quite different when compared. James, distinguishable by his Irish grandfather's old tweed cap, is more serious and highly intelligent, clever, witty, organized, compassionate, self-conscious, rational, wise, curious, smart, inventive, and very proud of his Irish heritage. But he also has an enormous desire for adventure. While his sister, Melissa is the exact opposite of him and she takes a much less serious approach to life. She's bouncy, quirky, energetic, optimistic, caring, kind, sweet confident, and very loyal to her brother. They're best friends. One day, on their way home from school, a young witch tells them both that they have been accepted to Ilvermorny School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Both are sorted into Thunderbird. One day, when they discover 3 mysterious journals and an ancient necklace that once belonged to Isolt Sayre, they discover that Ilvermorny is actually one of the largest epicenters of paranormal activity and supernatural occurrences in the Wizarding World. Later, they discover that the journals contain a map to a vast treasure worth of stolen loot from the French And Indian War. Now, the Evercreetch twins and their new friends, Arsenia, Celestia, Fionn, and Amanda, embark on an adventure to learn what is causing this paranormal activity and why with some help from the legendary Harry Potter and his friends. But there is someone else looking for the journals and the treasure as well. Can they find it before they do? This book takes inspiration from Indiana Jones, Gravity Falls, Stranger Things, Over The Garden Wall, Percy Jackson, National Treasure, Derry Girls, The Lord Of The Rings, and some of the greatest stories and legends in American folklore.
