My Life As A Clone

I don't know how I got here, but here I am, a Clone Commander leading my fellow brothers into battle alongside the Jedi. The Jedi while there are powerful fighters they are not competent when it comes to leading which results in lots of losses for the Clone army.

But still we follow orders as we are told, almost like we have no freedom and are forced to follow orders. But me I am different from the others as I always look for an alternative plan from what the Jedi choose, that is how I became a Clone commander.

Though, there are those Jedi that are good at commanding armies, such as Jedi Master Anakin Skywalker and Master Yoda. Master Yoda is from what I have seen the wisest of the Jedi and the most skilled. He also has the respect of the other Jedi and the Clones.

Jedi Master Obi-Wan is also another Jedi that is good and commanding armies, though sometimes he can make mistakes which cost the lives of some of my Brothers. But in war, lives are meant to be lost.

Here I am on Coruscant on an Escort mission for Senator Amidala. Why is a Clone Commander on an Escort Mission, well General Skywalker wishes to entrust the protection of the Senator to someone capable and that he can trust, so he chose me since I am both capable, and he trusts me and my judgment.

My Brothers who fight with me often look up to me and follow all my orders, which caught the attention of General Skywalker and after fighting some battles together we have grown to trust each other.

Rex and I are his most trusted commanders as whenever all three of us are on the battlefield the battle will be won most of the time. Though there are times when we can't win since the Droids often outnumber us, but still we put up a good fight.

While Coruscant might seem safe for the Senator, there are still those who wish her to fail and stop her from gaining support in the Senate. And these people will go to any means to make sure she is stopped, even killing her.

But that is why I am here, General Skywalker trusts me to protect the Senator and I will not fail him. I chose 10 of my most elite men to join me on this mission to protect the Senator, which will be more than enough.

Right now, Senator Amidala is walking inside the Senate meeting room, which is a massive room filled with lots of politicians arguing about things like they always do. Senator Amidala seeks to increase the Allies of the Republic while also representing the interest of her home planet Naboo.

While the Senator entered the massive room, only two of us entered, while the other Clone troopers stayed outside. There were a total of 5 of us with the Senator, while the other 5 were guarding her bedroom and her ship.

I and another clone named Henks were on the Platform with the Senator as we waited for the other Senators to finish with some other resolutions that they were proposing or problems that they were bringing up with the Chancellor.

It was a while before the Senator got her turn, as me and Henks stood guard the entire time. Since we were trained with lots of discipline, standing still for long periods of time was no problem.

The Senator first begin bringing up inviting the Mandalorian's to help fight the Separatists since their territory was a good location for whomever gets their hands on it. And if the Mandalorian join sides with the Separatists, then the Republic will be at an even greater disadvantage than it already is.

The Senate argued back and forth as between those that support it and those that don't. So the decision fell on the Chancellor, who agreed to invite the Mandalorian to join them and put Senator Amidala in charge of it and would send her as an envoy to Mandalore.

Once we left the meeting, Senator Amidala had headed back to her room but on the way she had asked me some questions

"So Blade, I hear that you are a very respected Commander of the Clone army and even one of Anakin's most valued Commanders" Asked Senator Amidala

"Yes Ma'am I have had a rough first 4 months of the war but during that time I somehow managed to climb up in ranks from just a regular Clone to a Clone Commander" responded Blade

"I See, I also heard that you have saved many Clone troopers lives during the first months of the war" Said Senator Amidala

"The life of a Clone is just as much valuable than that of a droid and in this war most of the time we are outnumbered 3 to 1 sometimes 5 to 1 so losing lives that can be saved will only weaken the Republic army and make fighting harder" Said Blade

"This is the first time that Iv'e heard a Clone say such things, most of the time they're all about defeating the enemy first never have I heard a Clone that understands what it means to save a life" Said Senator Amidala

"I Guess what they say about you is true, you are a special Clone, probably one in a Billion" Said Senator Amidala

"well we have arrived, so I will go and prepare for our departure to have the pilots ready to leave"

"Yes ma'am they will be ready" Said Blade

Senator Amidala went inside her room while I went to the transport ship to have the pilots ready to leave.

After a while the Senator had walked out with the two guards, I left her, and she boarded the transport.

After making sure everything was ready and all the systems check out, we left Coruscant.

Our Main mission was almost complete now we will join up with the 4th Fleet of the Republic. Once out of the planet's orbit, the ship jumped into hyperspace.

While in Hyperspace, I had received a Call from the Admiral of the 4th Fleet. "Commander how is the mission" Asked the Admiral

"We are almost about to reach the fleet should exit Hyperspace soon Admiral" Said Blade

"Once you get here, you are to meet up with General Skywalker and rejoin him and the 501st in their siege, another Transport is already ready for your departure" Said the Admiral

"yes Admiral, I will be there shortly" Bladed ended the hologram call

I guess it's back to fighting for me once again. Although I enjoy it since fighting alongside the General and destroying the clankers is the most fun that I have.
