Chapter 1

Yu Zhao is the only heir to China's biggest A.I company Pengxi. He has almost everything that a man wants. After achieving success at a very young age Yu Zhao is very humble and down to earth which makes him stand out from others. China's most desirable indeed is Yu Zhao. However the king does have a queen whom he loves so dearly, Min Ting. Just like her name she's gorgeous and Yu Zhao's life.

Today is the day when Yu Zhao decided to propose Min Ting. He paces from one corner to another of his vast cabin as his secretary, Lei Min's eyes follow his movements.

"Master Zhao, is everything alright?" Lei min asked staring at his restless Master.

"I suppose not." Yu Zhao stops in his tracks. "What if she says no? Then what will I do?!"

"There's no chance a woman would say no to you. It's impossible." Lei Min smiles.

"Now that you say, there are plenty of women who can't resist my charm but Min Ting you know she's different. She can see through me." Yu Zhao blushes while he thinks about the time when he first met Mei Ting.

It was their first year in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Both became the most popular and admired students from the day they stepped inn. Yu Zhao fell in love with Min Ting at first sight, however she in fell love with Yu Zhao slowly as time passed by. They became the most adorable couple of Jiao Tong University and eventually successful business partners. Min Ting loved how Yu Zhao became a kid whenever he was around her. She was the only woman who had been with Yu Zhao at ever turn of his life.

"Master! Master!" Lei Min brings a very lost Yu Zhao from his dreamland.

"Uh? What?" Yu Zhao looks at Lei Min.

"The Cheng group would like to sign the deal with you as soon as possible. They wanted to send their negotiator tomorrow. Shall I allow them to do so?" Lei handed the damn documents of Cheng group to Yu Zhao knowing he would go through the documents first.

"That won't be necessary." Yu Zhao declines the documents. "I'm not satisfied with their conditions and neither do I wish to sign with them. Fa Cheng's ways of business are unpleasant and I'm not very pleased with his way of working."

"Yes Master, ill let them know." Lei takes back the documents.

Yu Zhao looks at his watch. "I'll be leaving now. Prepare the car." He gets up with his calm demeanour. Somehow Yu Zhao looked different. Even though he wore that same tuxedo and that expensive watch of his, there still was something about him that sparked through his eyes, his happiness.

Yu Zhao reached the venue and was waiting for Min ting while gazing at a mesmerising Shanghai from the very top. As every hour passed by, Yu Zhao was becoming worried as Min ting was nowhere to be seen. The urge he resisted to call her was no more. He picked up his phone and called her.

"Yu Zhao?" Min ting said in a tired voice.

"Min ting are you okay?" Yu Zhao worried as Min ting sounded different.

"I can't make it today. I hope you won't mind." She said.

"It's fine. Just take care of yourself. I love you." Yu Zhao tried to sound as if nothing happened.

"Yeah I will. Love you too. Bye." Min ting hung up. Nothing could hide the fact that Yu Zhao was disappointed but he wanted to be understanding at the same time since Min ting is his girlfriend. Yu Zhao didn't have an appetite anymore. He got up from his chair to leave. He was walking towards the exit but something made him stop tracks. He saw a drunk Min ting leaning over to Fa Cheng, the CEO of Cheng group.

Devastation was all over Yu Zhao's face as he looked at his girlfriend in disbelief. He was hurt, angry more over still in denial. He wanted to confront Min ting. He wanted her to say to him that everything that he saw was a lie. Yu Zhao walked towards Fa Cheng but couldn't keep his eyes off Min ting who was close to Fa Cheng, close enough to make Yu Zhao go crazy. Yu Zhao grabbed Fa Cheng by his collar and pulled him away from Min Ting.

"What do you think your doing?" Yu Zhao fisted Fa cheng's collar.

"Yu Zhao." Fa Cheng jerked his hands away. "You don't own this place."

"Who says? Just one call and this place would be mine!" Yu Zhao gritted. "So, you didn't answer my question. What are you doing here, with my girlfriend?"

"So this is what it is about?" Fa Cheng chuckled. "Min ting and I..."

"Are dating." Min ting interrupted.

"Min ting what are you saying?" Yu Zhao's eyes softened when he looked at Min ting who refused to look at him.

"Fa Cheng and I are together." Min ting grabbed hold of Fa Cheng's arm.

"I refuse to believe it. You wouldn't do such thing." Yu Zhao was glued to his spot. He refused to believe what Min ting said.

"I want to break up with you Yu Zhao because I love Fa Cheng." Min ting pulled Fa Cheng closer and smashed her lips against his. Yu Zhao couldn't watch anymore. He left without saying anything further. He was heartbroken, devastated, and betrayal sparked in his glistening eyes. The great Yu Zhao was crying. He walked without paying heed to anyone around him. It was as if he had blocked every voice from his surrounding. All he could hear or see was Min ting.
