Benedict's POV
They placed the coffin on the catafalque at the center of the church. And the requiem mass for Lisa's father started, but I was still looking in her direction even if her back was on us, and I couldn't believe that I would be seeing her today. For the first time after one year, I was able to look at her lovely face once again, and I realized that nothing had changed about my feelings for her, no matter how I was angry with her.
The moment I look at her face, I realize I am still at her mercy, and she still owns my heart, and I don't know how I will deal with this emotion that I have for her, now that I am committed with Tanya. And I know Lisa doesn't want me anymore because she ran away from me, and whatever reason she has, I hope she will give me a chance to speak with her because I missed her so much, and I needed some answers.
