Chapter 21 Misfortune

I would be lying if I said I didn’t need Raphael’s help.

After a few weeks of working in Cube. I kind of got a lot better at handling the workload that was given to me. Whenever the head chief would want a revised design, they’d be surprised that I had already prepared something in advance- which of course I learned from the great Raphael Hughes. Yet no matter how many days I stayed here, I could never get used to how people on our floor would bully me every chance they got.

It’s the same thing everyday.

I stared at the broken glass shards beneath me after some girls had deliberately pushed me. Usually, I’d avoid it but I was too busy minding how many glasses of water I could bring to my coworkers that I lost focus.

They all laughed it off and dispersed from my sight.

I took a huge deep breath and continuously reminded myself that everything was going to be okay. And that Raphael’s fan girls would soon get tired of me.
