I was lost in my thoughts on another day at work. It had been a couple of days since my last interaction with Raphael in his office room, and I had not seen or heard from him after that. Although I know he does come to the office, he is again purposely ignoring me. I sighed. I had had enough of his childish tantrums now. He was ignoring me to no end, and it felt like we both never even knew each other. But at the same time, I hadn’t gone up to him to explain my side of the story and why I hid the fact that he was the father of my baby. But then again, he might not understand the reason. It might sound stupid to someone who did not have daddy issues like me growing up.
Emily tapped on my door, and I looked at the time to see it was already lunch break. I stood up and near the elevator, where Emily was patiently waiting for me. I had promised her that I would have lunch with her today, and we decided to grab a quick coffee and some muffins from the Starbucks across our office.
