There's something you need to know(2)

Her mother was obviously a very gentle person who wouldn't even hurt a fly. Did that mean she was really under a threat?!

"Tyler, I think I realized something." she said.

Tyler had let go of her and was solemnly staring at his laptop screen. "I think I realized something too."

"I'll go first." she said.

"Okay."

"My mom has been with dad for very many years. Do you think she knows something, but is only afraid of him? If we talk to her, maybe we can find the evidence we need."

Tyler pondered over what she just said. "What I found out may have a direct effect over what you just said."

"What do you mean?" she looked over.

"Just because someone has a past record of crimes doesn't mean he's the culprit every time something wrong happens." his tone was of utter shock.

"Can you speak human?"

"I just noted, the two emails Jing Ye recieved...the style is quite different."

"Tyler, can you speak a language I understand? What are you even saying?"

"I hacked into the bank account and the second email, but left out the first one assuming it was sent by the same person."

She finally got the gist of it. "So you're saying, you think it was two different people?"

"Correct." He looked even more scary. "Darling, what if we accused the wrong person?"

"What nonesense are you talking about? My dad is a criminal! I heard him swear to kill someone with my own ears."

"Of course. But just because he's a murderer doesn't necessarily mean every murder was commited by him, right?"

"Can you stop being so strange? It's getting rather annoying."

"The point is...never mind. I'll hack into this email." He said as he sat straight and started flying his fingers over the keyboard at rapid speed, leaving behind a trail of complicated codes.

Yun Xuan could only watch from the side and try to make her presence as scarce as possible. Time ticked by in minutes and seconds.

She saw his dejected expression and sensed something was not right. The other email was hacked into by him within less than five minutes. Why was this one taking more than an hour?

She spoke up. "You found nothing? Why is it taking too long?"

He gave up. "I found nothing."

This was the first time she had seen him fail in anything. "At least it proved a point. They were indeed sent by different people."

"Not necessarily."

Yun Xuan felt her head ache. "What do you mean? Dear incredible genius, I beg you, please don't start with the complicated language."

"If one person wanted to tie you down in marriage, and a different person sent a lot of money asking the related party to leave the city, what sense does it make?" Indeed, no one would just ask another person with no good reason. It would only make sense if it was the same person.

"So, you think the other account also belongs to dad, and it was a false alarm just now?"

"I doubt your dad could use one secure email account and later use another one that could be so easily hacked."

Yun Xuan glared at him.

"Cough, I think this genius with a secure account is the one who deliberately used General Yun's account to make the transactions."

Yun Xuan laughed out loud. Was he trying to say that the genius planned everything out from the beginning? He hacked into her father's accounts and used them to send the second email and the cheque? Someone framed her father? How was that even possible? "What would they gain if my dad was accused of murder?"

Tyler thought about it. "They may not gain anything, but your dad would lose your trust. Perhaps they want to use your insecurity against him."

She felt it was a rather strange idea. Thinking about the divorce certificate issue and that murder incident, she thought it sounded like something her father would do...did Tyler mean the genius used this mentality to frame her father?

"Although it sounds rather far fetched and especially hard to be possible, who do you think this genius is, an enemy of dad's?" For someone to frame General Yun, how terrifying was he?

"That I can only know when I successfuly hack into his email." he sighed.

Yun Xuan gave him a curious look. "I thought you were the best hacker in the country?"

"Nope. There's always someone better." he said and got back to business.

Yun Xuan mumbled. "Only very few people know that it was I who was the wife of Lu Aotian..."

Tyler also seemed to have remembered something. "There's only one person in the hacking world whose accounts I can't hack into."

"Lu Aotian!" Yun Xuan exclaimed. "He's a sworn enemy of my family, he knew about the marriage, he's a genius hacker. Why does he fit perfectly in the criteria?"

Tyler stopped her. "Don't be rash. We don't know anything yet. It's just a speculation."

"Yup. A speculation that we need to be sure about. That's why we need to ask."

"Who are you going to ask? Don't be impulsive."

"Someone who knows him better than I do." She did not want to make a conclusion unless she was sure, so she took her phone and went to the balcony.

Behind her, Tyler had an indescribable expression.

....

Wan Jia went to the balcony to talk to Yun Xuan.

When she came back, she had a very terrified expression as she eyed Lu Aotian.

"Aotian, let me ask you something."
