Chapter 4: Quirk Assessment Test

"A quirk Assessment Test?!" everyone said in unison with confused expression.

Shota Aizawa, their homeroom teacher have all of them assembled in the field in P.E. dress for a quirk assessment test.

Their confused expression were justified, "Then what about entrance ceremony? The orientation?"

The auburn haired girl spoke what's on everyones mind.

"We don't have time for such leisurely activities if you are to become Pro Heroes"

"U.A. selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. We can run our classes however we want." Though he was giving a serious speech his lazy voice made the theme darker instead of inspiring.

"You kids have been doing these since junior high, too, right?"

"Physical fitness test where you weren't allowed to use your quirk. This country still uses averages taken from results from students not using their Quirks. It's not rational."

"Well the ministry of education is procrastinating."

"Bakugo. How far could you throw in the middle school?"

"Sixty seven meters." Bakugo replied

"Great, now try it with your quirk. Do whatever you need to. Just don't leave the circle."

"Give it all you've got."

"DIE!!" With a death sentence he launched the ball with an explosion.

"It's important to know your limits. 705.2 mtrs"

With this the enthusiasm which has been gloomy for a while became lively again.

"Awesome… you say? You are hoping to become heroes after three years here…and you think it'll be all fun and game?"

"Right. The one with the lowest score across all the eight events will be judged Hopeless…and will be expelled." There goes the mood again.

"Last place will be expelled? But it's the first day of school! No, even if it weren't…that's totally unfair." Students protested.

"Natural Disaster…Highway Pileups…Rampaging Villains…Calamity is always right around the corner. I'd say Japan is full of unfair things. Heroes are the one who correct all that unfairness."

"If you were hoping to spend you evenings hanging out at Mc'D…I'm sorry to tell you…that for the next three years…U.A. will run you through the wringer."

"That's Plus Ultra. Use you strength to overcome it all. So bring it." Aizawa said in a challenging tone which ignited a new kind of motivation among the students.

"The demonstration is over. Now it's for real."

The ball stopped after hitting a pole which he didn't account for when throwing the ball.

Pole -5 points

After then Izuku and Aizawa had some man-to-man talk about being a hero or being a liability.

Izayoi was enjoying one his favorite snack, no one knows where he got the audacity from to eat during the class when Tenya was trying to reprimand him the sentences bascially entered one ear and left the other.

His answer was "Want some?" 

After contemplating a bit Izuku tried another shot and was successful in minimizing the damage to his body.

Izuku Midoriya - 705.3 mtrs

"Sensei, I can still move"

A angry Bakugo was about to lash out at Midoriya, Aizawa stopped him and proceeded with the rest of assessments.

Midoriya looked dead inside and outside too after realizing his position.

"By the way, I was lying about the expulsion."

"Whaaaaat????"

"It was a rational deception….meant to bring out the best in all of you" Aizawa said with a evil smirk.

"Well of course it was a lie…didn't take much to figure that out…" said Yaoyorozu after seeing other's reaction.

Aizawa's reputation is Izayoi's mind has improved with this prank.

Shota Aizawa + 10 points.

He too liked pranks.

He offered Rice cracker to Yaoyorozu who wasn't surprised by the revelation comeding her intellect.

Momo Yaoyorozu +5 points

She accepted his generosity.

"With this we're done here. There are handouts with curriculum and such in the classroom so when you get back, Give them a look" informed Aizawa in a dead voice.

"Tomorrow's trials wouldn't be any less easier."

With that the first day at U.A. High ended.

Izayoi was surrounded by orphanage kids asking him about the school. Every kid has admired the heroes who appear in T.V. every second they were very excited to learn about the place where people go to become heroes.

Nothing was stopping these young sherlocks' from asking every single minute detail about their endless curiosity for Pro Heroes.

Izayoi remained busy till night.
