Setelah melewati gerbang desa, pendatang akan menemui sebuah jembatan yang warga setempat mengatakan tempat itu adalah tempat berdiamnya sosok makhluk penunggu gerbang desa berwujud perempuan dengan rambut panjang dan mulut yang sobek sampai telinga, matanya besar dan payudaranya menggelantung sampai menyentuh kemaluannya. Biasanya pendatang yang tidak mematuhi peraturan untuk masuk atau melewati desa akan disesatkan oleh makhluk itu dalam jangka waktu yang cukup lama sebelum akhirnya dikembalikan lagi ke dunia nyata, tak jarang juga mereka dibawa ke dunianya untuk dijadikan pengikutnya. Belum selesai di situ saja, pendatang yang tidak melakukan atau sengaja melanggar peraturan tersebut pasti akan mengalami berbagai gangguan setelahnya, dari yang hanya sebatas gangguan ringan sampai mereka tidak bisa pulang dari desa itu. Suatu hari lima orang remaja yang berasal dari kota besar di Jakarta sengaja datang untuk menghabiskan masa liburan mereka di desa itu sebab mereka tertarik dengan keindahan desa yang masih asri itu. Mereka sendiri mengetahui tentang desa itu dari salah satu teman mereka yang kebetulan keluarganya berada dan tinggal di sana, dia warga asli desa Pengasinan. Ya namanya juga anak kota, mereka tidak percaya dengan mitos yang beredar seputar desa itu, walau sudah berulang kali teman mereka mengingatkan agar tidak melupakan peraturan dan pantangan pantangan yang sudah dia katakan. Hanya saja memang dasarnya mereka berlima adalah remaja remaja yang bebal sehingga mereka tidak berniat melakukan atau menganggap segala pantangan itu benar adanya, bahkan mereka pun sengaja tidak menyiapkan garam kasar yang harus dibuang di depan pintu gerbang desa. Keras kepala mereka pada akhirnya membawa mereka pada sebuah petaka dimana mereka terus terusan diganggu oleh makhluk penguasa desa, tidak bisa keluar meski sudah mencobanya berkali kali. Setelah seorang tetua desa melakukan ritual untuk menemukan jalan keluar agar bisa menyelamatkan kelima remaja kota itu, dia menemukan fakta jika penguasa desa menginginkan nyawa pemuda pemudi itu dan ingin menjadikan mereka penghuni tetap di sana sebab mereka sudah banyak berbuat hal yang tidak baik dan melanggar semua pantangan di desa. Berbagai upaya dilakukan warga desa untuk menyelamatkan kelima remaja itu, namun sayangnya dari lima remaja yang masuk ke dalam desa hanya tiga yang bisa diselamatkan. Meskipun beberapa dari mereka selamat nyatanya mereka membawa trauma yang tidak bisa disembuhkan seumur hidup mereka.

Unlike other places in the world, Kani is less known in Kandona City, due to Nixidia trying to hide it from the public view. They believe it's for the best, but have wrongly oppressed Kani users in the process. The corporation has done things such as kidnapping, murdering, brainwashing, and experimenting on Kani users before turning them into soldiers, they've even gone far enough to target young children who inherited techniques. Azurite has made it their mission to overthrow this corporation, bringing peace and freedom to the Kani users who have been oppressed for all of these years. They've worked hard to build a group of promising fighters, who all have someone they wish to protect, and will do whatever it takes to achieve that. Okoro, whose origin is unknown but intentions are clear, is seen as a beacon of hope for the team, and he hopes to contribute to saving the city alongside them.
