Eugene is clueless...

[Kiara's point of view]

I opened my eyes and there was no one in the room. It was quite dark. Is it early morning? But I remember I slept after morning exercise. So is this evening? I took my phone and it was 6.30 pm. So this is evening actually. Seriously the confusion you get when you wake up at this time…. I sat up thinking about the things that happened. Simon pissed me off and then I had a panic attack? I had my pill then there was music which I insisted on keep playing. And then I fell asleep. Wait a minute, why did I dream of Eugene playing a guitar? What's wrong with you Kiara? And why did I tell Joe that I need to keep listening to Eugene playing guitar? This is so embarrassing! And I even dreamed of him playing a guitar and smiling at me. And when did I notice that he had dimples when he smiled? Or Did my messy brain just made that up? Forget about it! That was just a stupid dream. I really need to talk to Charlie about the medication he prescribed. It's giving me really strange dreams. As of now I need to get fresh. I feel so exhausted. I went to the bathroom and had a cold shower. I came back to the room and switched on the lights. Dora knocked in with a bowl of soup.

Dora: Miss, you woke up already? How do you feel now?

"Not good but still better."

Dora: You look so weak. You have not eaten properly for 2 days. We called Charlie and he said to let you sleep. But you missed breakfast and lunch.

"I slept like I was dead."

I said and took the bowl from Dora. I was really hungry so I started drinking the soup immediately. Dora kept watching me and Joe came in.

Joe: You feel better now?

I nodded without looking at him.

Joe: Why don't you go out with Eugene tonight?

At first I thought I heard it wrong. I lifted my head and looked at Joe in disbelief.

Joe: Eugene is your new Secretary. You need to spend some time with him so that both of you get comfortable. After all, you need to work together from tomorrow.

Joe said with a smile.

"What rubbish! I am not going with him anywhere."

Joe: Eugene is already waiting for you. You are going to meet Sohpie at her place. I have given the address to him. He will take you there. Finish your soup and get ready.

"Excuse me? Are you ordering me Joe?"

Joe: No! Sophie called Eugene and asked him to meet her with you.

"What? How did Sophie get Eugene's number?"

Joe: Oh come on Kiara. Sophie has all rights to have your secretary's number.

"I am not going to meet her."

Joe: Sophie will land here if you don't go there. You know her well.

"Arghh! Why can't she just leave me alone!"

I said grinding my teeth in annoyance.

Joe: Don't stress Kiara. She's just a friend. You will feel better if you talk to her. And it's good for you to go out. Get some fresh air. But first drink your soup then get ready.

Joe left after saying that. Dora was still there to check if I actually drank the soup or threw it away. I was angry enough to do that but I can't do it in Dora's presence. So I finished it. I went down wearing casual clothes and a cap. Eugene was standing there waiting for me. He was wearing a blue hoodie and ripped jeans. He smiled and bowed when he saw me. He really had dimples on both sides when he smiled. So my dream was actually right. I shook my head to forget about the dream.

Eugene: Good evening Ma'am.

"What is so good about this evening?"

I asked, raising my brows.

Eugene opened his mouth to reply but smiled awkwardly since he didn't have an answer.

[Eugene's point of view]

Looks like Ma'am is not in a good mood today. I didn't see her the whole day after morning exercise in the garden. When it was lunchtime Dora aunty called me and I must say she cooks delicious food. I don't remember having yummy food since mom got sick. I can cook decent food but maybe I didn't feel it was good enough because of my bad mood. But I didn't see Joe and Dora after that. I was eating all by myself in that huge dining room and it felt really weird. Another servant gave me a house tour after that. I saw everything except Kiara's room. The mansion is as grand as it looks from the outside. There were many servants in the house. I was not surprised. It will take a bunch of people to keep such a big house nice and tidy. After that I had no work to do so I started watching anime on the laptop. I wish only if everyday was as free as today. In the evening there was snacks and coffee and later I got a call. It was from the CEO of We entertainment which is Kiara's talent management company. She told me to bring Kiara to her place for a meeting. I got dressed in my suit but Joe came to me and told me to dress in casuals. He said that the CEO Sohpie was Kiara's friend and this is not really a formal meeting. So I changed into jeans and a hoodie. Kiara also came down dressed in casuals. She was wearing an oversized white shirt black shorts and black cap. She was wearing no make up on her face. She looked fresh but still a little tired. And she didn't really like my "good evening" wish. I was standing there thinking what should I do next and Manager Joe came to the rescue. He gave me the car keys and Kiara walked ahead. I followed her and when we reached the car I opened the backdoor for her.

[No one's point of view]

Kiara ignored Eugene and opened the front door herself and got seated beside the driver's seat. Eugene Closed the door and cleared his throat to hide his awkwardness and embarrassment. Then he got seated in the driver's seat and started the car.

Kiara: You have your licence right?

Eugene: Ye...yes Ma'am.

Kiara started checking her phone after that. And Eugene was driving to the location Joe told him. Kiara instantly regretted her decision of checking her Instagram comments. The comment section was filled with fans making up stories about how toxic Kiara is and how Simon broke up with her. They were even calling her a Psychopath, which she didn't really mind but the comments that said she was torturing Simon really got on her nerves.

Kiara: What rubbish is all this? I am gonna kill everybody!

She said that grinding her teeth. Eugene was absolutely clueless about everything that was happening. So he decided to inquire about the reason for his boss's temper.

Eugene: Any problem Ma'am?

Kiara: Stop the car!

Eugene: Why...what...what happened?

Kiara: I SAID STOP THE CAR RIGHT NOW!

She shouted at the top of her voice and Eugene immediately hit the break.

Kiara opened the door and came out in a second. She walked to Eugene's side and opened the door.

Kiara: Come out!

She said, fuming in anger. Now Eugene was confused and scared. Did he do something wrong by asking her about the problem? Is she going to fire him on the road? Eugene gulped hard and looked at Kiara as his heartbeats rose with his fear.

Kiara: I said come out!

She shouted at Eugene. Eugene opened his mouth to speak.

Kiara : NAODA!!!

Eugene's eyes grew bigger. Now Kiara was shouting to come out in Korean making sure Eugene understood it. Eugene opened his seat belt and left his seat immediately. Kiara got in and sat on the driver's seat. And started the car.

Kiara : Get in if you want!

She said without looking at Eugene. Eugene was blank for a moment but then he ran to the door and sat on the door next to her And wore his seat belt. Kiara started driving without wearing the seat belt. And she was driving rashly too.

Eugene: Ma'am…..seat belt?

Eugene said in a worried voice but Kiara ignored him. Eugene felt like he was riding a rollercoaster because of Kiara's driving skills. His heart was in his mouth and he was staring at Kiara and the road as she took turns. Thankfully the road was quite empty or otherwise she would have definitely killed a few people including herself and Eugene. Eugene even started closing his eyes and praying. And finally Kiara stopped the car in front of a big mansion. It was not as big as Kiara's house but still it was huge. There was a security guard at the gate.

Kiara: open the gate!

Security : But Ma'am Simon sir is resting. He said to not allow visitors.

Kiara: Really? He is resting after messing with my life. I need to go in. Open the gate.

Eugene was still confused. Is this pop star Simon's mansion. What did he do to Kiara? Is she angry because of him? Eugene was never a person who liked gossip and he never had time to read those magazines and scroll through social media to know about celebs and their scandals. He already had too much on his plate to worry about. So he had no clue about Kiara and Simon being in a relationship. And suddenly the security guard got a call and he answered.

Security: Sir, yes sir. Ok.

Then the security guard opened the gate. And Kiara took the car in. Then she got out of the car and walked into the mansion. Eugene hesitated for a second. He was confused whether he should follow Kiara and go in or just wait in the car. Then he decided to wait because Kiara didn't ask him to come out. He really doesn't want to make her more angry. But he really needed an explanation for everything that was happening. So he decided to do the easiest thing. And that was googling Kiara and Simon's name. Eugene placed hand on his mouth after reading all the news articles.
