Chapter 022: What Benefits Are You Taking?

To be honest, Polaris was somewhat reluctant to be a housekeeper.

"What the hell?! Your new housekeeper?! Are you serious?" Stark asked in disbelief.

Luo Bai nodded affirmatively, "Yes."

Stark still couldn't wrap his head around it.

Come on, this girl looks like a child.

Why would a minor be doing housework? Shouldn't she be doing something else?!

Thinking this, Stark continued, "I'm not that conservative, but you seem to be an adult. You're old enough to fall in love. I won't say anything, so you don't have to hide it from me. Or... is she a minor?! If that's the case, I need to talk to you about this. You should be an adult, after all!"

"..."

I have to say, Stark can be quite clever sometimes.

His words made Luo Bai momentarily silent.

Fortunately, Polaris spoke up just in time to clarify: "Hello, Mr. Stark, my name is Lorna Dane, and I am the new housekeeper hired by Master Luo Bai."

Luo Bai didn't respond directly but instead asked, "Tony, did you forget that you came to me because you had something urgent?"

Only then did Stark remember the purpose of his visit.

"Oh, right. I do have something urgent to discuss. To be honest, Luo Bai, I've been feeling very down during your absence—really very down. I think I might not live much longer," Stark said, his expression instantly dimming.
