Marvel: King Crimson

[Hahahaha!! The time has finally come, the moment when I, the great Diavolo-sama, conquer this small world!] says the boy with long pink hair while standing in a strange pose, with an enormous evil smile on his face.

And yes, as many can imagine, this is the protagonist of this story.

["I thought it was all fake when that mysterious being spoke to me about reincarnation and giving me a second chance, but it seems everything is real and not a dream."] The boy says, maintaining his strange pose but now with a serious expression.

["Although I don't know which world I am in, it's not a problem because now I am The Great Diavolo, and with my Stand King Crimson, I am absolutely invincible."] Leaving his serious face behind, Diavolo proudly proclaims his superiority.

["But well, setting all of this aside, the first thing I should do is gather information about the world I am in. Even though I am powerful, I don't want to get complacent and end up dying in a pathetic way."]

["Furthermore, there's something that makes me very happy, and that is that I have no past in this world. My record is clean, and no one knows my true identity… all I have to do from now on is keep a low profile and eliminate anyone who tries to disrupt my tranquility."] Diavolo murmurs to himself. For Diavolo, the most important thing is to keep his true identity hidden, pulling the strings from the shadows with absolute authority as a King, while using a false identity for his daily life.

["First of all, let's find a place to stay, and then I'll check if my abilities work. Besides, the mysterious being said they improved my Stand… so I want to see what they meant."] Saying that, Diavolo changed his appearance to that of Doppio and began to search for a good apartment away from the crowd.

He doesn't want his first record in this world to be in a public place since, in the future, when he becomes more powerful, someone might try to investigate him and by chance stumble upon his first registration place and discover something about him.

For example, his voice or nail color; that's something that worries him a lot, and it wouldn't let him sleep peacefully.

So, no matter the world he finds himself in, he must try to act naturally and flawlessly.

Walking through the streets, Diavolo finally found an apartment worthy of him. With the amount of money he had, he could afford a good apartment.

As he walked, he realized he was in a world similar to his past life, precisely in a place in the United States.

In this city, or rather, where he is, there aren't many people or anything that stands out.

The street he's on is quiet, so quiet that it's hard to imagine there are people here.

But none of that matters because that's what he wants: a place where he can be at peace without anyone disturbing his divine consciousness.

Finishing his monologue, Diavolo proceeds to walk toward the building in front of him.

Quickly entering the building, he looks from side to side, searching for the hotel receptionist.

After scanning a corner, he spots a girl with black, straight hair. Diavolo easily predicts that she's the receptionist.

Letting out a small sigh, Diavolo adjusts his imaginary tie and walks toward the girl.

[Excuse me! Can I ask you a question?] Diavolo politely asks, making a good first impression.

The woman who saw him was a bit surprised by how polite the man in front of her sounded.

[Yes, of course, go ahead. How can I help you, sir?] The woman asks with a friendly smile.

[Well, I would like to know how much it costs to rent a room in this hotel.] Diavolo gets straight to the point.

[It depends on how you want it, will it be for one night or for a month?] The woman asks curiously.

[…Mmm, I just want a room for a maximum of one month.] Diavolo responds after a moment of thought.

He wants the room for a month because during that time, he will solely focus on acquiring information about this world, and when he feels a bit more secure, he'll go out and explore the world and set his plans in motion.

[Oh, if it's for a month, it will cost only $500 dollars.] The receptionist replies after hearing Diavolo's response.

[Very well, sign me up.] Diavolo says.

[Of course!] The receptionist responds.

And with that, Diavolo started to register, creating his first identity in this world.

(10 minutes later)

[Well, Maria, I'm going to my room, and thank you for your help.] Diavolo says with a smile to Maria. Surprisingly, the receptionist was super friendly, and while registering Diavolo, she introduced herself and talked to him about some things in these areas.

Although most of what she said was useless and didn't serve him at all, he had to go along with it to maintain a good image.

[Goodbye, Mr. Doppio, I hope you enjoy your stay at this hotel.] Maria responds with a smile as she bids farewell to Diavolo, who heads to his room.
