I was only able to get a few hours of sleep before I woke up. I barely slept, the tension from last night was still weighing on me and my mind was also hinged on the meeting back in Atlanta.
I need to get out of this place as soon as possible and get back to Atlanta. If I meet with the CEO this morning, we could discuss the basis and fix another time for the final decision. That shouldn't take more than an hour or two and I can still get on air and meet up with the meeting home.
I got up, groggy but determined and the first thing I noticed when I woke up was the unsettling calm in the air. The rain had stopped, but something still wasn't right. I glanced at my phone — no signal, of course.
