**Day 25:** My energy finally became completely cyan. It seems that I was a fully-fledged tier one magician. Though to say that, I would need to have some spells and perhaps military training. Besides throwing heavy punches and running fast, there weren't many upgrades to my physique. My thoughts were a bit faster, and my body needed fewer hours of sleep and fewer meals. The man in class said that the more we train the energy, the more we will be fusing our bodies with that special essence. I was ready to learn some spells to check how strong I am.

**Day 30:** It seems that today was evaluation day for our class. From combat to knowledge, and wit, everyone was tested and ranked accordingly. I decided that it was best to lay low and see what will happen in the future. After the testing, my ranking was among the middle of the class. Some other people seemed to have broken through tier one and even began making progress towards tier two. Especially the top three, they each had unique characteristics, a girl with long, black hair and blue eyes, a man with blond hair and brown eyes, another girl that had black hair but it did not pass the neck, she had a short hairstyle, a tomboyish one I see. The top 3 were awarded with some money so that they could afford some better training techniques. They were also invited to talk with the teacher in private, but that was expected.

**Day 40:** Everything proceeded smoothly; I made some progress in training, but I still wasn't at the middle stage of tier one. My classmates were the same, with some exceptions; the three I previously specified were the fastest ones in breaking through. They were already at the late stage of tier 1 and almost broke into tier 2. Tier one made an individual superhuman, with some meager spellcasting ability. Tier 2 built upon that and enhanced the spell casting to a huge level, being able to destroy houses with some spells. The body was also upgraded and enhanced to a major degree. If I were to use some sort of measurement, then I would compare the area of effect; a tier one would be able to affect an area of 3 to 5 meters around themselves, while a tier 2 would be from 20 to 100 meters.

**Day 45:** I noticed that staying low while having slow progress in training is pretty much worthless. I took a mission from the school, since the magic allowed not only humans but even animals to evolve and become stronger. I was currently walking inside a forest, with a machete in hand and very light armor, searching for a deer. It was an easy prey, and I would get some cash to buy some potions that will speed up my training. Even though I was pretty good at sensing the energy, I was very slow in refining it and had to use some potions, but my money quickly ran out after buying one. They were pricey, and I had very low income. After walking for 1 hour, I finally found a group of mutated deers; these ones had more muscles on their legs and had an overall bigger frame. It looks like they evolved for strength rather than speed. I stalked them for a while, and in one swift motion, I took all of them out.
