A defecting machine, French Angel, Siberian Cat and "normal" human, arrive at St. Freya. This is Squad 5. I have no idea what tags to put. This is also originally written on Wattpad, just rewriting/posting it here. I am the og writer so sup yall. (Well, more like WE. - Write).
Location: Unknown
Scenery: Desert, Destroyed City.
---------------------------------------------
Within an unknown ruin, there lies a machine, it is hooked up to a solar powered battery and is resting on the 3rd story of a destroyed building. He wears a cloak the color of the sand and his mask is littered with scratches, far from the face it was before. The machine woke up in this place without a clue of who he was nor how he got here. But he's survived out here, alone, for a long time now. He may not know the entire layout of the city, but using his scanners and creativity, he's somehow avoided any direct encounters with these monsters known as, "Honkai Beasts".
Today was just like any ordinary day for the machine, but in stories of consistency, something will always come to break the status quo. The robot hears the sound of an engine, with curiosity, he watched the vehicle drive through a crowd of Honkai Beasts and stop in the middle of them. The doors suddenly open revealing 7 women? girls? Well, each of them are wearing some form of skin-tight suit except on of them. Some wield swords, while some others wield guns, and one in particular is wielding a giant lance. Then the girls charge towards the beasts, and within a few minutes, the crowds was reduced to nothing.
The machine is continuing to observe the group of females, when suddenly a bullet was fired towards his direction. He quickly ducks back under cover, and the noise of 2 more shots ring out, each hitting the wall he was behind. In a panic, the machine stealthily heads down towards the 2nd floor of the building, then tripping down towards the 1st floor.(20 -> 19 hp).
Getting up from his stupor, he walks into an empty room that holds nothing but a broken scythe leaving nothing but the handle, a desk and windows to escape out of. He picks up the handle thinking he could use it was a bow staff for defense, he didn't even know what a bow staff was. He hides the staff under his cloak and sneaks out through the windows without a problem, leaving nothing but sand.
-----------------------------------------------
"What were those shots for?"
"Sorry Captain Durandal, I thought I sensed something strange in that building over there..."
"Think nothing of it now, let's scout the perimeter one more time then return to base."
"Understood!"
------------------------------------------------
The defect continues to wander the landscape, he attempts to enter a rundown grocery store, but all the ways of entering have been boarded. seemingly not wanting to make noise to alert the girls, he walks away from the building, and after a few minutes of mindless pathing, he walks towards a hatch. Next to the hatch is a panel, the panel has a few plugs such as USB type C, AUX and others common cords. On the screen appears the words, "Input ID for clearance".
Having a bright idea, the machine pulls out a Type C cable out from his neck and plugs himself into the panel. After a few seconds the hatch opens without an issue, no alarm or anything, just a silent open. The machine cautiously enters and he is greeted with a white 4-way corridor with doors to the North, South, East and West.
The machine heads towards the North door first, and it seemingly opens without a fuss. "The security outside is tight, so why isn't it on the inside?" He thinks while continuing to walk into the room. Entering the room, he is greeted with some form of training room.
The room is a dark blue, with light cyan lines stretching across the floors and walls. On the left side of the room is a multitude of different weapons ranging from blades to guns. What does catch his eye however is the massive training lances that looked similar to the lance one of those girls were wielding. On the far end of the room was a panel similar to the one that he plugged into on the outside of this "base".
He walks over towards the training rack and attempts to lift up one of the training lances. It takes a little effort but he manages to get a good grip on the weapon and holds it on his side as he walks over to the training panel. He immediately plugs himself into the panel, ignoring the request of identification that appears before he's connected. What he sees after hacking in, is 4-no 5 difficulties. Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert, Master. The Master difficulty says, "Must complete the first 4 difficulties to challenge this difficulty." With a shrug, he selects Easy, after waiting a few seconds a Honkai Beast appears.
A single Templar-Class Honkai Beast.
The machine is a bit shocked, this thing almost killed him when he first awoke here in this abandoned city (he said it, not me). He quickly re-hacks into the panel and manages to open the door.
He rushes towards the door and falls flat on his face in front of the door, the beast takes this chance and thrusts it's spear like limb towards him. In and act of desperation, the machine thrusts the lance with all his strength and the tips of the weapons make an audible *Pang*. After the interaction, the beast is sent back quite a bit, staggered. Taking this chance, the machine ushers out of the room, with the door closing behind him. Taking deep breathes, (how? Idk, he literally did this.) he makes his way towards the door towards the West, this door also opens without an issue.
When he enters he's greeted by an automatic cafeteria. There is no human life, nor is there any plugs for the machines, just scanners, arms and the smell of food. After looking around a tad bit, he finds a sheet of paper, or more so a note that reads the following:
"Dear Master Durandal,
The Overseer requests your presence in the next week that is to come. I am doing my best to stall him for your training, I know your training is something you've been really focused on ever since you've gotten here, so I wanted to let you know you can train without a care in the world till next week. I also hope your eating well without me there, I can imagine you missing my cooking. Have a good rest of your day Master Durandal.
Your loyal maid, Rita."
The machine records these names in his data base, pockets the note and leaves the cafeteria. He then heads to the East door, when it opens, there are several more doors than run across the hall way, 6 total. After a sigh, he heads towards one of the doors and plugs himself into a panel next to the door and hacks it open.
The door opens and he is greeted with a near empty room with just a bed and a desk with a computer on it. He walks over to the computer and hacks into it easily. Looking through files he decides that it's a hassle and downloads them instead. Beside the computer are folders of papers and with a hesitant hand, he skims through the papers. After 15 minutes of skimming, the only information he could make out of the documents is that this place is a training area, some people known as, "Valkyries" were sent towards due to it's Honkai infested nature.
He exits the room and looks at the other 5 doors. He rubs his palm on his head and then repeats the same process for every room with differing designs.
The 2nd room he entered was littered with Gundam, Mecha and Arahato merch. He pockets a Arahato plushie and skims through some files and learns about Honkai Beast class and types.
The 3rd Room he enters has figurines and plushies of Honkai Beasts, there's even a poster on the wall of a dragon with the word, "Bella" written above it. The information in this room was more abundant in advanced knowledge of Honkai Beasts.
The 4th Room, was a really goth and edgy room with grim reaper figurines on the shelf. The data on this computer talks about God-like beings that can bend the laws of our world, known as Herrschers.
The 5th room was... weird... upon entering he sees a lot of merch of what appears to be him. He doesn't remember his past so this honestly gave him a little hope, going through the files, only one of them uses a consistent name, "Gray Serpent". So with curiosity, he types it into the search bar only for the pc to immediately shut down. There goes another lead. He pockets one of the figurines of himself and heads to the next room.
The final room was like the first one he entered, it had a guitar beside the computer but nothing else in the room besides the necessities . The information in the computer of this room talks about Valkyries, their ranks, the immortal blades, and their strongest Valkyrie known as Durandal. He remembers the note he read and then thinks, "Wait, their strongest warrior is technically right here then?"
With that thought, the door in the hallway opens up, and with quick thinking he hides under the bed. The room's door opens and the clicking of heels are heard. Then the undressing of fabric and the clattering of equipment falling on the ground. Grunts and now bear footsteps are heard walking towards the computer. Then after a few seconds the sound of a guitar is heard being played.
Taking this chance, the machine somehow manages to slip back into the hallway undetected. Breathing a sigh of relief, he hurries over towards the last door, the one in the South. The door doesn't open however, a holographic screen opens up from the door and the robot is unable to hack it. So he takes his lose quickly and heads out the hatch leaving the base. After catching his breath from the experience of almost being caught, he walks into a random direction.
-------------------------------------------
"Wait, where's my limited Arahato mecha plushie!?"
"One of my figurines of my husbando disappeared!"
"There's a missing lance from the training room!"
Durandal sighs and orders everyone to calm down and rest in their rooms. "We'll go out again once we've freshened up, someone must've snuck into base while we were out." She also has noticed the letter she accidentally left in the cafeteria is also gone. "tsk."
------------------------------------------
Upon walking for a few minutes, the machine stumbles across another broken down building. What makes this building special? Well, there's a massive Emperor-Class Honkai beast here, sleeping, known as "Ganesha". He accidentally arrived at the site where Ganesha was sleeping! So he proceeds to try and sneak aw- he tripped and awoke the beast. Attempting to salvage the situation, he attempts to gently persuade the beast. Putting his hand on one of the tusks, he lightly pats it... the gets swat away like a fly into the wall, breaking it (19->13 hp). Getting up, he immediately dashes out of the rubble, running away from the building containing Ganesha. Ganesha however, curls up and starts rotating, with such force he bursts out of the building, creating an even bigger hole. The machine attempts to dodge but to no avail, half his body gets hit with the force of essentially a highspeed truck with cargo in toe (13->3hp).
While regaining his footing, the beast makes a U-turn in attempt to finishes the job. The speed of the rollout is slower than previously, the machine barely manages to dodge the attack. Ganesha, who is slower than before, hits the building wall leaving a dent but causing the beast to fall on it's back.
Taking the chance, the machine leaps onto the beast stomach and uses the lance to stab it. His attacks seemingly have no affect against the beasts thick skin. So the robot gets off the beast when it's still on it's back and makes a break for it. He runs through the hole created by the beast and manages to hide away in an old electronics building.
Taking this time, he uses the old broken down electronics to repair himself (3->10hp). After staying awhile in the building, massive footsteps can be heard outside, so he stops moving. It was the beast, it was nearing where he was, so with held breath, he waits. Seconds turn into minutes and minutes turn into an hour. The beasts steps can be heard getting farther away from him, with a breath of relief, he steps out of the broken down electronics store and heads the opposite direction from the footsteps the beast left.
After some time, he finds himself back at the hatch, seeing the hatch move a bit, he quickly runs behind a building and hides. He overhears some of the girls speaking:
"Ugh, I can't believe someone got in! They took my damned plush, I spent quite a lot on that..." A girl with light orange hair says.
"Your not the only one who lost something, they took a figurine of my husbando!" A girl with dark hair, black and gray pupils, and wearing a black vest over her skin tight suit says. "So she's my fan girl? And what's a husbando?" he thinks.
Another girls appears, and he recognizes who it is immediately. Blonde hair, dark blue eyes and wields a lance. Durandal, Schicksal's strongest S-rank valkyrie.
"Okay girls, let's go around and find this culprit. I also heard some noise towards the East, that's either them or a Honkai beast." When she says that, everyone gets into an armored vehicle and drive off.
The machine slowly peaks they're head out and sees that the girls are gone. He quickly moves up the building he was hiding behind and rests on the 5th floor. This building is next to the base, so he should have an easier time keeping watch and staying hidden from here.
After some times passes, he overhears the sounds of what seems to be explosion. He peaks his head out to see Durandal getting knocked through buildings by Ganesha. After getting sent through 5 buildings, she lands in a building nearby the hatch. Ganesha charges again, but that was a fatal mistake. Durandal thrusts her lance into the beast, halting all momentum, then doing a roundhouse kick into the lance, completely piercing the beast and killing it.
The machine watches all this happen, and is very cautious now. He waits for the girls to leave, in which case they do and all enter the hatch. After waiting for awhile, the machine decides to get up and inspect the beasts corpse. He sees multiple holes in the beast, most likely caused by Durandal. He puts his hand on the corpse curiously, and accidentally absorbs the remaining Honaki energy in the body. The pink lines on the corpse slowly fade away, not knowing what happened, he quickly checks around his own body to find nothing wrong.
He hears the hatch open and quickly hides behind the corpse, hearing the clacking of heels he peaks out a little. A girl with light orange hair.
"I can't believe can't believe captain dropped her hat somewhere, now where is it..." She says as she begins wandering around. The machine looks at the ground your standing on and see a black military cap with some neat decorations adorning it. Sighing to himself, he picks up the cap and slowly walks out from behind the corpse of the beast. The girl immediately notices the presence and hold the hilt of her blade, waiting to un-sheath it.
"Who are you?" She says in a lower voice trying to intimidate him. He makes himself known raising his hands up to the side holding the hat up. He doesn't answer her but instead slowly walks closer. The girl does the same, albeit being completely on guard with a hand still on the hilt of her blade. After a painfully long time, they meet, the robot is close enough to die while the female is close enough for the swing.
"Here" is all he says, holding his arm forward while hand the hat to her, she reluctantly takes it before repeating the question she asked before: "Who are you?" In a more confused tone.
"Scrap"
"Scrap? That's... your name?"
"Yes" After he responds, an awkward silence fills the room. After awhile, the girl once again speaks up: "Follow me" She doesn't elaborate and continues walking then says: "If you don't I'll cut you down." Scrap immediately follows after her as she leads the way towards the hatch.
At the panel, she inputs a very long code, 20 characters from what Scrap can tell. After inputting the code, the hatch opens up and they go down the ladder and back into the familiar 4 way corridor.
"Girls, I brought someone here!" She shouts, as she does that, the first door to open is the door to the South, he wasn't able to open that door so he wasn't expecting someone to come out of it. Who does come out of it though? Durandal. She stands in front of Scrap, eyeing him.
"Who is this, Susie?"
"This person is called Scrap, and he found your hat." She then proceeds to recount the events in a quick fashion and hands Durandal her cap before finishing with: "Maybe he knows of the events that happened here?"
Scrap, who is basically shitting himself, stays silent as both of the girls look at him. Then the East door opens, revealing a girl with Jet black hair and dark pupils in sports wear. Upon seeing Scrap, she quick draws a handgun and points it toward him stuttering out: "W-w-who are you?! A-and why do you look like my husbando?!" In response to this, Scrap just slowly raises his hands in the air in defeat. Durandal and Susie inform her of what has happened, and as she listens she slowly lowers her gun.
"Th-that still doesn't expla-!?" She gets cut off as Susie covers her mouth and drags her back into the East hallway. Durandal and Scrap are left in the 4 way corridor alone, then Durandal once again speaks: "Come with with." She says as she drags Scrap into her room, which is the South Door.
In the room, it is pretty basic, it's like the other rooms but more spacious except with one little detail. The is another room that looks like a confinement room with a window looking into it. Seeing this, Scrap is a bit scared, then Durandal once again speaks up.
"Did you have anything to do with the stole items? Such as a plushie, figurine or training lance?" She says in a threatening tone.
"No." He lies through his teeth, almost as if it were natural.
Durandal turns to face him, then proceeds to open up his coat and take out the note he pocketed from the cafeteria. "Then care to explain this?" Scrap, upon hearing this, freezes on the spot, if he could sweat, he would be drenched. After some silence, Durandal relents, and says: "You can keep the lance, but if I find any of the other missing items on you, your in trouble." Scrap gulps(how can he? idk) and furiously nods his head.
She then ushers him out of her room, "stay out here, if I come back and see you gone, I'll break your legs." Then the door closes.
---------------------------------------------
Durandal sighs as she heads to her computer. She contacts the overseer and after a few moments a call comes through.
"Hello Durandal, is there something you need? You are never the one to initiate a call with me when your training."
"Overseer, I request pickup early."
"Is there a reason Bianka?"
"Well... I just thought that Rita might be missing me dearly, so..."
"There is no need to explain Bianka, I can understand something like this. I'll send Theresa to pick you up, she should be there early morning the next day."
"Thank you, Overseer." She hangs up the call and heads back to the door.
---------------------------------------------
The door opens as Durandal walks out, she drags the machine back up the hatch and outside silently. Without realizing it, the sky was dark and the moonlight shone upon them as they exited the base. Durandal threatens Scrap saying that if she doesn't see him here in the morning, she'll find him and break his legs. Brutal.
She goes back down the hatch by forcing it open with her strength, bending the material, then bending it back in place to cover the base. With a sigh, Scrap shut downs for the night, right next to the panel of the hatch.
Night falls and the sun slowly rises, Scrap awakens to the sound of an aircraft carrier. Sand gets blown away before it lands. As it lands, the hatch opens revealing Durandal, Susie and the other 5 girls of her squad. The hanger of the aircraft opens revealing a white haired, blue eyed small nun with a giant golden cross on her back. She eyes Scrap for a second before looking back towards Durandal and starting conversation with her. The other 6 girls silently board the carrier while Theresa and Durandal go over to Scrap, conversing along the way.
They stop in front of him and Scrap gets up.
"This is Scrap, Scrap this is Theresa, she'll be taking care of you." Durandal says.
"Wait... what?" Scrap, confused, tilts his head in bewilderment.
"Durandal, I'm only taking care of him because you asked, if he isn't useful, I'll toss him back to you in Schicksal." Theresa says with a glare as she drags Scrap into the aircraft with her.
Scrap, who is still confused, asks: "Wait, we didn't talk about this-" He was somehow unconscious by Durdandal with a single chop. He wakes up buckled to the seat, and his arms tied. The other passengers stare at him when he awakens, sweat dropping at his confused look. He tries to break out of the restraints but to no avail. Theresa gets up and stands in front of him saying: "Sorry about that, we didn't really want to do that, but we don't have time to waste really." Scrap, confused once again, tilts his head. Theresa sighs and explains: "We needed to check your data bank, we were afraid you would refuse and terminate all information in your head if we asked, so we had to take some drastic measures."
Scrap, with a glimmer of hope in his eyes asks, "Did you find anything related to my past?"
"No, we didn't, it was all empty, sorry." She says with some guilt in her voice. Scrap once again sighs then asks, "What did you find then?"
"We found out that you know everything there is about the Honkai. How you got this information is unknown to us, but with this in mind, I would like to make an offer."
The inner businessman inside of Scrap somehow awakens and asks, "I'm listening."
"Using your information of Honkai, you'll work as a teacher in St. Freya, a school that I am the principle of. You will get paid and your lodging will be covered for."
"Is there a catch?"
"The catch is you'll work directly for me. I am not too demanding nor needy, so this is just a clause for you to stay under me."
After some pondering, Scrap talks again, "I accept, on the condition that I will teach what I want too teach, some normal life skills for students are necessary too after all." Theresa smiles at what he says, and thus begins a new life for Scrap, the defect machine.

This is the author here, the order of characters is the order they join Schicksal or the Far East Branch. Scrap being the first. Bianka is young here, but has already absorbed the bubble universe inside of her. so this takes place 2010ish?
Christ, now that I read back at this, pretty bad ain't it? - Write
Well... remember, the actions taken are from a human person playing a machine in a DND tutorial. Also, I know that some of the ways the characters act are not gonna be in line, but honestly, for my sake and yours (for your entertainment), I do not care.
