Going to LA

"How long is this business trip honey?" Valerie asked her husband.

"I don't know, maybe a month or two?" Jacob answered.

"Can't you take me with you? I can't bare being away from you for that long," Valerie pouted.

Jacob paused from packing his things and turned to look at his wife, "You have your own business to manage here honey and besides we can video call everyday," he said then held her face.

"I will miss you," she held his hands that was on her face. Jacob leaned forward and kissed his dear wife.

"I will miss you too," he told her.

As soon as Jacob finished packing his bags, he said goodbye to his wife and headed to the airport.

"Check me in the same hotel where Sabrina is staying," Jacob instructed his secretary through the phone.

"Understood Sir. Let me first check the hotel lists Sir," his secretary said. Jacob dropped the call and boarded his plane.

Today he was going to head to Los Angeles to meet his old lover, Sabrina.

Jacob was an ambitious man. He always wanted more of everything. Power, as long he had it, he could do everything he wanted.

He loved Sabrina. She was the love of his life, the only woman who held his heart. Although he was close to his wife, he didn't love her. To him, she was just a stepping stone on reaching his ambition.

Now that he had what he want, it's time to get Sabrina back. He wanted both power and Sabrina and he is determined to obtain both. Nobody is going to stop him.

After a few minutes of relaxing, Jacob's phone rang.

"Sir I can't find any hotel that has Ms. Sabrina's name," his secretary reported.

"What do you mean you can't find it, maybe you just missed something,"

"No Sir, I double checked every list and there was no Sabrina Pierce or her manager's name. I called the last hotel she was staying in and they said that she already checked out a few days ago. The staff of the movie she was partaking in also didn't know where she's currently staying,"

"Okay, just check me in anywhere then," Jacob said, "Send me the address of the hospital where Sabrina is admitted," he said then dropped the call.

She wasn't staying in a hotel, could it be that she's already living with that man?

"Sir for safety purposes, please turn off your phone, we are already going to take off," a flight attendant approached Jacob. He immediately did as told.

Inside the hospital.

"Get away from me you impure man!" Sabrina tried to push Alexander away from her.

"What? I'm just trying to feed you,"

"But can you please use your hand and not your mouth?" Sabrina scolded him.

This man was currently helping her eat dinner because she can't use her arm. But this man, was trying to feed her with his mouth! Biting into the food and passing it to her mouth.

"At the count of ten Alex, act normal or I'm not eating," he threatened him. Sabrina glared at him but Alexander just smiled playfully at her.

"Sorry baby but I'm not used to being threatened," Alex bit into the apple he was holding and moved closer to Sabrina's mouth. Using her free arm, Sabrina blocked his mouth from reaching hers.

"I'm dead serious Alexander," she glared at him.

Alexander pulled his himself away and laughed, "You're really cute baby," he said then pinched her cheeks.

After playing around, thankfully Alexander fed Sabrina normally. He was really attentive on her. Feeding her congee, he blew it first, making sure that it wasn't hot before he fed it to her.

He also peeled oranges and apples for Sabrina.

"Thanks for helping me eat," Sabrina said, looking into Alexander's eyes.

"I can feed you until we grow old baby," he said.

"You're talking like you're so sure of the future. We just got together a few days ago and now you're talking about advanced topics," Sabrina commented. It was the truth. Every time Alexander spoke about them, it was always like he really wanted to spend his whole life with her.

"I know what I want Sabrina. In this lifetime and the other next lifetimes, you will always be the one I want," he answered her seriously.

Sabrina can't help it but feel a little bit touched.

Alexander held her face, "The moment I first saw you, I already knew, I want you for the rest of my life. This is the first time I have ever felt this way Sabrina, no woman has ever driven me this crazy," he told her.

"But what if we face problems in the future? What if we were forced to separate? What will you do?" Sabrina asked him.

"You're the only one I will never trade for anything Sabrina, remember that. And I don't think anybody has the power to separate me from you. Whoever dares, I will for sure destroy them,"

"Aren't you afraid that I'll betray you someday? You said you hated celebrities because they're pretentious. What if I'm only pretending?"

"I'm certain that you're not," Alexander said and smiled, "I know you're head over heels for me so O doubt that you'll cheat on me," he said then winked at Sabrina.

"Wow. Don't you think you're too conceited Mr. Alexander Grande? If there was someone who was head over heels in love, it is for sure you and absolutely not me," Sabrina rolled her eyes on Alexander.

"Oh really? I remember someone saying than she can't get me off her mind," Alexander rubbed his chin.

Sabrina's face suddenly turned red. That recording!

"Who is the one who went on my back and asked my father for my hand?" she defended herself.

"Who is the one who can't control her breathing when I'm near her?" Alexander rebutted.

"Who was the one who forced t---" Sabrina was suddenly stopped by Alexander's lips.

"Yes it's me, I'm head over heels for you," he told her then smiled.

"Excuse me Alexander, but don't you think you're stealing too much kisses already?" Sabrina complained and once again she felt Alexander's lips on her.

"Stealing? Aren't you giving it to me willingly?"

Sabrina's nose instantly smoked, "You!" she pointed accusingly at Alexander.

"Okay calm down now baby," Alexander placed her hand down, "You need to rest now," he said then tucked her in.

"I hate you," Sabrina glared at Alexander which made him chuckle.

"I love you more baby," Alexander replied and kissed her on the forehead.

Alexander watched her until she fell asleep then he went out of the room and headed to Kenzie's room.

"Sir," Grey greeted. Alexander signaled him to come out of the room.

"I want you to hire a man to watch over Director Walker. I want all of his actions reported to me in detail," Alexander instructed.

"Understood Sir, I'll have it arranged ASAP," Grey replied. But before Alexander turned to walk away, he immediately stopped him.

"What is it?" Alexander raised his brows.

"Sir I just received a report that the CEO of Lockwood Corporation is currently headed here in LA," he reported.

"For what reason?"

"I don't know Sir, it was a sudden flight," Grey answered.

"Okay, thanks Grey. You may take a week leave after you finish the things I asked you to do," Alexander said then turned around to leave. He tortured Grey with too much work, its just right to give him a rest.

On his way back to Sabrina's room, his lips curved into a smile.

"Looks like my rival is coming. How exciting would this be?" he said to himself.
