The Blissful Weekend

She walked up to the receptionist, as they exchanged pleasantries, the CEO of the shop saw Ella and she smiled at her.

Ella walked to the young CEO, who looked like she was in her early thirties. She greeted her cheerily and told her the style she wanted to make. While she waved to the other customers there who were seated.

"Okay, please hold on for some minutes I'll attend to you shortly. I'm almost done with her hair," the young lady said politely pointing to her customer she was braiding her hair. She had staffs but she also made hair for her customers.

"Alright, that's not a problem." She said as she went to seat on a long chair made for customers to wait.

She sat down and brought out her phone to play music, she was bored of sitting idle after looking around for a while. She always carried her earpiece along with her. So she plugged it in and played her song. She was her biggest fan, a day never passed without her listening to any of her songs.

Ella's music paused and the phone began to ring. The caller was William.

"Hey, William what's up?" She greeted excitedly like she had been expecting his call.

"I'm good, and you?" he asked.

"I'm doing fine, how are you enjoying the weekend? Or you're still shooting?" Ella asked.

"No, no…I'm free from work. I was wondering if we could hang out today to take ice-cream or are you busy?" he asked waiting for an answer. His feelings grew stronger by the day.

"Well, actually I'm in a salon right now but I have no plan on going out today." She s reluctantly.

"So… can't you hang out with me?" he asked in a little high tone.

"Okay, chill," Ella said letting out a soft giggle as she sensed the raise in his tone.

"Ella, you can come over to this seat now," Kathryn said.

Kathryn is the CEO of K & K hair shop. She had chocolate skin color, and she carried a short hair cut which was dyed wine color. She wore a black jacket and black Palazzo trousers that made her hair color stand out. She just finished the hair of her customer.

She was a professional hairstylist who learned the skill when she was done with high school. She couldn't go through university, so she learned the skill and opened her shop. It was a little business when she started but it grew with time to where it is now.

Ella stood up and walked towards the seat in front of Kathryn.

"Please hold on, I need to talk with my stylist," she said to William who was waiting for her reply.

"I would love to fix a weave, blonde color." She said and continued with her call. Kathryn selected quality hair for her. Then she started by losing the ponytail hair on Ella's head.

"William, sorry for the pause," she said apologizing.

"There's no problem, you told me you were going to talk with your hairstylist so I understand."

"so, I can only hang out with you if I finish my hair on time." She said.

"It's just afternoon, you can't spend the whole day on only your hair you know," William said bluntly.

Ella let out a loud chuckle this time. She was amazed by the way he talked.

"Alright, so would you come to pick me up?"

"Yeah sure, just call me when you're ready," William said.

"Okay then, I have to go now," Ella said as she squealed in pain. Kathryn's hands were usually painful but her hairdos were also neat and recommendable.

While he was driving, he thought deeply about the park to go to. He wanted to make the vacation memorable for both of them.

Shortly they arrived at the Disneyland theme park. The gateway was a replica of Disneyland in movies. The tall blue castle building and other exterior decorations welcomed them making them smile in excitement.

Jane was overwhelmed, she had never been there before and it was a really beautiful place to behold.

"Wow! Here's a captivating place." Jane said smiling at Nathan. "Sure babe, you deserve the best."

His words made her blush hard. He had a sugar-coated mouth that always made her happy whenever they were together.

They walked around the amusement park, trying some games, taking pictures of themselves having fun, and creating videos.

The park was crowded with couples, young kids, teenagers and their family, and a few elderly ones.

Little kids ran about playing hide and seek games while the teenagers played tug of war, basketball, badminton, and the others. The couples with children didn't stay too far from their kids, keeping an eye on them.

Jane and Nathan kept smiling at each other as they observed everything within their view, then her mind flashed back to last night, which made her smile more. They packed their luggage from the car when they got tired of staying outside, they walked into one of the resorts to secure a room. They bought snacks as they went inside the resort.

"What a day!" exhausted Jane said falling her back to the bed.

"And the sun outside is red hot, Phew!" Nathan said and it made them laugh together.
